Alren stalked his prey, using his speed and agility to get close. He pounced, using his claws to take down a young deer.
The hunt was over quickly, and Alren devoured his meal, feeling his strength and energy return.

Alren felt satisfied, his hunger sated. He realized that hunting and eating would be a regular part of his life as a dragon.
As he rested, Alren noticed a strange glow in the distance. It seemed to be coming from a nearby cave.
