'beep,beep,beeeeeeeeeeeeeeepp....'
'What in hell's name is that fucking sound? I need twenty more minutes.
'Kyle, it's time for school. Hurry up or you'll be late for your own entrance ceremony.' A female voice said in a soft tone.
'Yeah,mum. I'll be down soon. I just need a little more... Wait, WHAT? The entrance ceremony! I'm so cooked.' He said in alarm as he hurried to the bathroom, had his bath and dashed out of the room dressed. His hair was still wet but he didn't care.
' Won't you have breakfast? '
' No, mum. Lunch is enough for me '
' Okay, take care.'
He ran all the way to school. As he ran, he felt a strange presence following him, but he couldn't quite place a finger on why it felt so familiar.
While trying to peek at this person out of the corner of his eyes, he suddenly saw a young boy being pushed into the middle of the road by a dark figure. It looked more like a shadow and Kyle would have sworn at that point that he had seen the grim reaper.
Rushing forward without a second thought, the young boy was saved in the nick of time as a truck sped their way. People gathered around them and praised Kyle calling him a hero.
Kyle looked up searching for the man who caused this. His eyes landed on the shadow looking at him menacingly. He opened his mouth to confront him when he suddenly shut it. Under that hood was a face that was decayed and maggots were still eating at it ,the eyeballs drooping out of their sockets, the fingers were eaten off only leaving the bone.
All blood drained from his face and he was doing all he could from throwing up. He calmly called an ambulance, told the boy that it was okay, picked his bag and left.
As he walked,he tried to convince himself that he was just hallucinating.
' It was probably because I didn't have breakfast. Why else would I see such a monster? Or maybe too many video games? All I know is that I will never skip breakfast or play video games before bed.'He said as he pushed everything into the back of his mind.
Unfortunately for him, that shadow continued following him. When Kyle stopped to think, he raised his hand to attack but his hand was chopped off by a slender knife. Enraged, the shadow turned to the source, only to see a handsome guy dressed in a demin and t-shirt.
While in its tracks, it was caught up into little pieces. It's body remains were carried carefully by the handsome guy.
Speaking into a transmitter, he said:
' He's safe and he's finally seeing '
' Okay, continue watching him and make sure you don't get caught ' A deep voice answered
