had been a week since he woke up in this world.
To the villagers, he was just the odd boy who lived alone at the edge of the forest. They called him Rin—a name passed down in village records like he had always been here. The system's Seamless Integration Protocol had done its job. No one questioned it. No one noticed anything strange.
He spent his days chopping wood, fishing by the river, and sparring with a boulder that had definitely cracked more than once.
At night, he trained. The Dragon Bloodline awakened little by little—scales that shimmered beneath the skin, reflexes sharper than steel, and senses that could pick out a demon from a mile away.

Thorfinn: Is this another cursed battlefield?Mob: …Hello.Esdeath: Hm? A new dragon? Tch. You're lucky I find strong men interesting.Kaneki: I can't tell if this place is peaceful… or a nightmare waiting to happen.
Rin: Relax. You're not in a battlefield. Yet.
Gojo: He's got jokes. I like this guy.Kakarot: I still wanna spar!Yor: Rin, how's your world so far? You making friends?
Rin leaned against a tree, glancing toward the slope down into the village. A familiar voice echoed up the trail.
"Nezuko! Slow down!" a boy shouted.
Two figures climbed the path: one with a checkered haori, the other small and cheerful, skipping over rocks like it was nothing.
Tanjiro and Nezuko Kamado.
The system hadn't told him much about them. But he felt something strange when he saw them—like they'd matter. A lot.
Nezuko spotted him first. Her wide eyes blinked, then she waved enthusiastically like she'd known him forever.
Tanjiro jogged up behind her, panting. "Ah—sorry if she's bothering you, Rin-san."
"No bother," Rin said, voice light. He crouched down to Nezuko's level and offered a small wooden dragon he'd carved. "For you."
She beamed and hugged it tight, giggling behind her bamboo muzzle.
Tanjiro looked a bit surprised. "She doesn't warm up to people that fast."
"Guess I've got a way with dragons and little sisters," Rin said with a smile.
Later that Night…

He stared at the screen for a moment, then looked out the window. Snow was falling again.
"This world's too peaceful," he muttered. "It's about to get loud."
