Chapter 1 - Mirio and Lily

The water was warm, the steam curling lazily off the surface like sleepy spirits. Mirio leaned back against the tiled rim of the bathtub, arms sprawled wide, head tilted up as he let out a sigh. The silence was heavenly, broken only by the faint echo of water droplets plinking into the tub from the faucet that never quite stopped leaking.

He thought he was alone.

Then he felt something shift behind him—soft, cool, and squishy.

"What the—?"

Before he could turn his head, two thick, cool arms coiled around his shoulders and yanked him back into a slippery, marshmallow-like embrace. His head disappeared between two massive, jiggling mounds of gel, and a high-pitched gasp escaped his lips—not from pain or fear, but from the shocking contrast in temperature. Her body was always cool, even when submerged in warm water, and now his entire face was buried in that chill, gooey softness.

"L-Lily—!" he tried to say, muffled against her chest.

The slime girl behind him just giggled softly. Her voice was barely used, her tongue rarely forming full words, but her gestures spoke volumes. And right now, those cool, plush arms tightened affectionately, her soft mass pressing against him from behind. Two translucent, green-tipped slime tentacles—her "hair"—drifted lazily over his shoulders, wrapping around him in slow, affectionate coils.

She wasn't trying to hurt him. She was just... really happy.

Mirio struggled for air and managed to pull his face free with a slick pop. He was greeted by her glowing green eyes and faint smile, her cheek leaning against his shoulder as if she'd been there the whole time. Her curvy form—entirely made of smooth, bluish gel—shimmered in the light of the bathroom, her signature yellow raincoat clinging tightly to her upper body. The coat was soaked, unbuttoned at the top, revealing the impressive swell of her chest, each orb nearly bursting free from the strained fabric.

Two of her green tentacle-hair strands squirmed around his waist and arm, acting more like extra limbs than decoration. One patted his chest like a hand. The other gently flicked water at his cheek, playfully demanding his attention.

"Geez, Lily, you scared me," he said, wiping the slick sheen off his face.

She tilted her head, her expression unreadable but sweet. Then, with both hands, she gently pressed her chest against him again—slowly, intentionally this time—until he was buried between them once more. A soft sigh escaped her lips, and her feeler tentacle lightly tapped the top of his head.

Mirio twitched.

Immediately, images flashed across his mind like a dream sequence: blurry visions of him leaving for groceries, a long nap on the couch, the quiet splash of water during his bath... all from her perspective. Her feelings, too. Worry. Longing. A touch of sadness. She had been watching from the bedroom tank, waiting for him to call. When he didn't, she must have gotten lonely and followed him in.

Her feeler slowly retracted.

"You missed me that much, huh?" he asked with a half-smile.

Lily's eyes gleamed, and she gave a subtle nod. Then, to drive the point home, she pressed her face to his, lips brushing his cheek—not quite a kiss, but just enough to make his heart skip. Her slime hair tendrils, still draped over him, squished tighter like affectionate arms, one sliding down to rest just above his thigh.

"Hey, hey—slow down," he warned, feeling the plushness of her chest inflate against his back, pressing harder.

A ripple passed through her form, and the buttons on her raincoat groaned. Her curves became more defined, more adult. Her hips widened, breasts swelling until the fabric could barely hold them. The water in the tub dropped visibly as she drank in more moisture, her form now dwarfing his slightly. Her cheeks were pink with embarrassment, but her hands continued exploring his chest, her fingers gliding over his skin like gentle waves.

"L-Lily... you're starting to overflow again," Mirio said, his voice tight.

One of her slime tentacles popped a button off her coat. It splashed into the water like a tiny cannonball.

Her expression didn't change.

Lily slid one hand around to cup his cheek, turning his face toward her. She pressed her forehead against his, her cool slime body radiating a calm serenity. Though her eyes were gentle, her grip on him didn't ease. Instead, she guided his hands to rest on her hips—now thick, heavy, and so soft they molded to his touch like warm jelly.

"You're really not gonna say anything today, huh?" he mumbled.

In reply, she pulled him close again, wrapping him in her arms and pressing her entire upper body against his. His face vanished once more between her breasts, and she let out a pleased sigh—her chest expanding slightly, nipples briefly pressing against his skin from inside her coat.

That was just like her. Words weren't her thing. Physical affection was.

Eventually, she shifted again, scooting him forward so she could rest her chin on his shoulder from behind. Her massive slime thighs locked around his waist, cool and snug, holding him in place like a slimy vice. The water level had dropped even further, most of it absorbed into her curvaceous frame. Her long, green tentacle-hair draped over both their shoulders like vines hanging from a willow tree.

Mirio blushed, half from arousal, half from amusement.

"Your bed's literally the bathtub, huh..."

She nodded softly and finally, with a breathy whisper close to his ear, murmured her first word of the day:

"Mine."

His heart stopped for a second.

Then she grinned, eyes glowing playfully, and slowly sank back into the water—taking him down with her. He yelped as her body molded around his chest and legs, pulling him into her mass. The whole bathtub wobbled as her giggling grew louder, her body enveloping his torso like a thick, squishy sleeping bag.

"I said I'm sorry already!" he shouted.

She didn't care. Her arms hugged tighter, her slime hair tickled his neck, and the last thing he saw before being pulled under was the sly, affectionate smile of his slime wife—cold, wet, and hopelessly clingy.

And honestly?
