Amon, a young man with a mischievous glint in his eye, stood before Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, her face flushed with anger. A wave of crimson energy surged towards him, but with a flick of his wrist, it dissipated like smoke.
"Impossible!" Wanda gasped, her eyes wide with disbelief. "How...how did you do that?"
Despite her initial reluctance, she had held back during their encounter. Even so, this was no ordinary feat. Amon had effortlessly deflected her magic, a casual gesture that left her speechless.
"Wanda, you're being unfair," Amon complained, feigning hurt. "You were the one who seduced me. I'm just an innocent victim, my innocence stolen by your reckless actions. I haven't even demanded you take responsibility, and you attack me!"
"Me?" Wanda scoffed, a bitter laugh escaping her lips. "Seduced you? How could I...it's impossible!"
As she spoke, a hazy memory flickered in her mind, becoming clearer with each passing moment. It was her who had brought Amon into the car, her who had taken the lead. The truth hit her like a ton of bricks, her face burning with shame.
"I...I shouldn't have drunk so much of that strong ale!" she whispered, her cheeks ablaze.
"I may be a novice, but I'm still a man who wants to take responsibility," Amon declared, his voice laced with mock indignation. "But you treated me so poorly, you must answer for your actions!"
He paused, adding a silent thought to his internal monologue: "This was my first time with a superhero, and it was exhilarating! It was…well, it was more than just 'satisfying.'" He licked his lips, unable to shake the memory.
"Don't be ridiculous! There's no way it was your first time!" Wanda retorted, rolling her eyes with a mix of pain and annoyance. "No one is that smooth on their first go-round. It was…it was…amazing!"
She was a novice, but she wasn't stupid. Every time she thought about that night, her face flushed a deep crimson. But beneath the embarrassment, a pang of regret gnawed at her heart.
She was already facing public scorn for her involvement with Crossbones. Now, this. She sought solace in alcohol, only to end up in this predicament. Her eyes dimmed with despair.
"So, you're not going to take responsibility?" Amon pressed, sensing the shift in Wanda's mood.
"I..." Wanda bit her lip, her eyes welling up. A mix of shame and a strange, alluring vulnerability painted her features.
"Alright then," Amon teased. "I'll call Tony Stark right now and tell him what you did to me!"
Wanda's face turned pale. If Tony found out, she would become the laughingstock of the superhero community. But as Amon reached for his phone, a wave of crimson energy shot towards his temple.
In an instant, Amon froze, his eyes vacant.
"I had to erase his memory," Wanda sighed, her voice heavy with regret. "This is something I can never forget, but this was the only way."
Taking a deep breath, she pushed aside her conflicting emotions and focused on Amon's mind.
A blazing phoenix, its wings engulfing a sea of fiery clouds, filled her vision. Its presence radiated an overwhelming power, a destructive force capable of consuming all.
"This...this is his inner world?" Wanda stammered, mesmerized by the phoenix's might.
Yet, despite its terrifying aura, she felt a strange sense of comfort, a feeling of familiarity. As she delved deeper into Amon's mind, a powerful sense of connection grew within her. It was like reuniting with a long-lost friend.
"What are you doing?" Amon's voice startled her. He reached out, his hand gently grasping hers.
"You..." Wanda's eyes widened in disbelief. This was impossible. Her mind control was absolute, even Thor, the god of thunder, couldn't resist it. And yet, this ordinary human…
