Chapter 1 - Bad Ending, Fantastic Beginning!

Hey, let me tell you something!

Back when I was in school, elementary school, fifth grade, I was in my class, playing a dragonball warriors on my ipad.

"Everyone in the front column will take their permission slips that I have just placed on your desks and give one out to all of the others in your row! We will be having a field trip next week, so get these signed and bring them in tomorrow, got it?!"

"Yes!!!"

She sits down and begings typing away on her comupter.

The teacher made the students in front of the class, give their row a permission slip to give to their parents to sign it. We were going to Yokohama for our field trip, along with other classes.

I was sitting at the back of my row, right beside the window where I could see all of the houses and trees and even some cars on the highway.

Oh! By the way, if you wondered, I go to Tokyo's Shinagawa international school, so I see some foreigners here and there, doing whatever they do.

In this school, or...just like other schools, my school offers international education to everyone. Anyone can even pay for higher insitutions of education for themselves or for a parent's child.

And...to let you know, this school prioritzes grades above anything else.

A true Japanese school underneath it's internationally welcoming appearance.

As I almost beat a high level mission in dragonball warriors, the student from me row gave me my slip and looked at me as if he was pissed at me.

I don't know what his problem is but I ignore him and go back to my game.

Not wanting to lose my slip, I opened my folder, placed it inside and stuffed it into my backpack.

Just kidding!

I just slipped it in!

Just as I was about to open gifts in my game, a sudden screech came from the megaphone speakers in the hall.

That sound was alarming and startled me, along with everyone else along in my class, even the guy who wears his headphones all the time got startled and took his headphones off.

"What's going on?"

"That penetrated my ear drums..!"

"What the heck is going on?"

"That was unnessecary..."

"What is this about now?!"

"Did she finally lose it?"

"Maybe...heheha~...!!"

"Annoying..."

The classroom was quiet, but now it has erupted into a talking session between the students about the sudden noise.

"That principle is annoyed by everything.....!..."

The teacher held her head as she stopped typing to listen to the principles blabbering.

The intercoms start buzzing and finally stop making that unsettling, irritating sound.

"St-students...we have a-"

"FASTER!!!"

"Today students, we have a special visitor in our building, why don't I give him a turn to speak..."

"Your damn school is about to get overrun by shooters!!!"

"WHAT!!!"

"What is going on?!!!"

"He said what?!!"

"This'll be a first for us!"

"Call the cops!!!"

Just before another sentence could be muttered, the intercom connects again.

"If any of you dare to call the police, we'll shoot every one of you!!!"

The school erupted in panic.

Everyone from my class, no matter where they were in the classroom could begin to hear the footsteps of all the students from this floor and the upper floors.

It feels like a small earthquake.

A few momontes later, it got quite. Our teacher didn't let us leave the room because we would get trampled by the other kids that are already running and trampling over one another.

"Is it safe?"

"Where did everyone go?"

"What's happening?"

"This is so~ random..."

"WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!!!~"

A kid shouted with all of us power and the class ran out in a panic. The teacher was trying to get everyone back in, but they all pushed her aside to leave the room, heading down the hallway and down the staircases.

"Just why...?...What am I going to do?..."

The teacher started to massage her forehead, contemplating on the situation.

I, as the abnormal kid, just stayed in the room, playing my game more intensely to stabilize my anxiety.

The teacher looked at me for a moment and walked towards me.

"Why didn't you run out like the other kids?"

I gave her a blank, anxiety indused look and rubbed my arm.

"I...I-I...I n-need an adult b-by my side..."

I spoke very quietly to avoid any danger fom hearing me.

"Okay, I'll stick by your side."

The smile she wore on her face gave me warmth, protection, and security.

Even though she said she was going to be by my side, I still felt scared and frightened from what might happen if we exit the school.

Will the shooters find us?

Would they harm us?

Would they keep us as hostages?

What are they doing at the school?

How did they get into the school?

These are the thoughts that cloddered my head.

One thing I don't understand is why no one noticed intruders were inside the building?

Why weren't there any lockdown drills?

It was just straight panic.

As I froze in fear, the teacher, Mrs. Hanashima, she hugged me.

"It would be alright.."

And she told me it'll be alright.

So, with this motivation and short term but newfound confidence, I gathered the strength to walk outside the classroom with Mrs. Hanashima.

For your information, she held my hands and guided me.

Once we made it to the second floor, Mrs. Hanashi spotted two intruders chilling right by a classroom. One was leaning on the door and the other was standing. They were having a conversation.

Thank God they didn't us!!

We quietly made our way toward the first floor, near the main section and we stumbled across not two but five armed men just hanging around.

To not be spotted, we sneakily walked across the room, behind the tables.

I was very nervous and due to that, I bumped my ankle on the tables leg. Mrs. Hanashi, who was in front of me held her finger over her mouth, signalling me to be quiet.

Me, scared as hell, held my breathe as the guy who heard the noise and spotted the table shake a little, looked over and found nothing.

Mrs. Hanashi held me tightly, making my faces squish with her chest.

I slowly turned my head, looking at the guy who looked over and walked away.

"What'chu doing?"

"Yeah, what the hell was that?"

The armed man turned his head a little bit towards where me and my teacher were hiding.

"Chill, I just thought I heard something..."

Taking a light breath, we crawaled the rest of the way to the door.

Unfortunatly, because the door made noise, we were quickly found out.

So we had to make a run for it.

We began to make a run. Right before I could take her hand as her hand was stretched out to me, she got her hand cut by the knife.

With all the pain she was going through, she still made an effort to grab my hand until I felt a sharp pain, not aware that a knife got through at my calf.

As I fell down, crying, she tried to save me, but before she could run back into the building, one of the guys shut the door on her.

With the man coruched above me, looking down at me, smiling.

I could tell from his eyes.

A sudden pain shot through out my back.

"Damn, you just sliced his back open!"

I began to panic.

(*&^%$#^&#$%^&**@$#@@!!~@#$%^

I began to convulse, foaming out of my mouth as my panic level has risen.

Before I could black out, I felt a body on top of me.

I couldn't breathe.

And so I closed my eyes, as I blacked out. My body couldn't take the pain.

I opened my eyes again, but, I was outside of my body. I could see one of the gunman just butchering my body wiith his knife.

. . . . . . .

It all set in now!

I realized that I was brutally murdered and that I am a spirit right now, as I have died.

From my right, I could see Mrs. Hanashi crying and running away.

As expected, no one could see me, because I am a spirit now and I could see what everybody is doing.

Abruptly, a portal or whatever spawned below me and I got sucked in.

I got transportaed into a weird room with no light around me. It just felt like I was in outerspace.

Then, someone appeared to me.

A white figure.

"You are dead, and you'll be reincarnated."

"Huh?"

Who is the person?

And what does he mean by I'll be "reincarnated?"

What does this mean for me?!
