Lei remained still on the stone bench, conscious of the goddess's scrutiny as she print his status sheet. The cool air of the ceremony room raising goosebumps on his exposed skin.
"Your basic parameters are all I-rank," Loki continued, smacking her lips in wonder. "But these skills.." she called out suddenly as she gives him his status sheet.

"Three distinct skills, each with... multiple slot formations? This is..." Loki nodded. "Even reveria doesn't have anything like this, and she is considered one of the most talented in all of Orario."
Lei listened intently as Loki began reading his status aloud:
"The Fool - The one who walks the path of mystery, the one who creates miracles, the one ever present in history..." Loki's voice grew more animated with each line. "And this is just the first skill! Each one has its own grandiose description, its own sequence of sub-skills. The Door, The Error... and look at these descriptions! 'The one to walk among the stars,' 'The one who plays with time.'"
"Not only that," Loki noted, " what is more peculier is the complete absence of a magic slot. For a status this unique, that's..."
"Beyond belief," Loki finished, once again examining the status sheet. "Three skills, each with ten potential sub-skill slots, though only one filled in each for now. It's like having thirty skills waiting to be awakened! What kind of perverted development is this?"
Lei remained silent, his mind racing. The Three Pathways—The Fool, The Door, and The Error—their significance weighed heavily on him. Could they be connected to the Lord of Mysteries? To his arrival in this world? Questions about corruption and the nature of his powers swirled in his thoughts.
"In all my time as a goddess," Loki mused, her usual playful demeanor subdued by genuine wonder, "I've never encountered skills with multiple slot formations like this. The implications..." She shook her head. "Nobody knows what kind of monster you might become in the future, kid."
Lei finally spoke, his voice careful and measured. "The skills seem to be interconnected, don't they?"
"Oh?" Loki's eyes gleamed with interest. "What makes you say that?"
But Lei didn't elaborate. His mind was already piecing together the puzzle—The Fool's ability to see beyond normal perception, The Door's power to traverse boundaries, and The Error's capacity to alter reality itself. Together, they formed something greater, something that might explain his presence in this world.
"Well," Loki stretched, her usual grin returning, "whatever you are, you're mine now. And I'm going to enjoy watching these skills of yours develop." She paused, her expression growing serious for a moment. "Just remember, with power like this comes attention. The wrong kind of attention."
" for now I am gonna lock your status, don't tell anyone outside about it, I will tell raul to take you to you new room, go and take rest kid" said Loki
Lei nodded, understanding the unspoken warning. As he put his shirt back on, he could feel the weight of his status inscription—three paths converging into one destiny, leading to answers he both craved and feared.
The question wasn't just how these powers worked, but why they had manifested in this particular way. As Lei left the ceremony room, followed by Loki's calculating gaze, he couldn't shake the feeling that he'd taken the first step on a journey far more complex than simply surviving in the world of gods and monsters.
That night, in the privacy of his new room in the Twilight Manor, Lei sat cross-legged on his bed, eyes closed in concentration. The moonlight filtering through his window cast strange shadows on the walls, and the distant sounds of the city had faded to a quiet murmur.
"The Fool's Seer sequence," he whispered to himself, focusing on the first of his awakened skills. He had to be careful but too much caution would hold him back, so now, alone, he decided to properly test his abilities.
Lei closed his eyes and light circle overlapping each other to enter cogitation state tried activating spirit vision extending his hand, palm up, and concentrated. A faint shimmer appeared above his palm—not quite visible, more like heat waves rising from something red hot. As he focused harder, the shimmer coalesced into something more tangible: tiny motes of golden light that danced and swirled like fireflies.
"Spirit vision," he noted mentally. "Just like in the novels." The lights weren't physical manifestations but rather representations of the spiritual essence that permeated everything. Through The Fool's power, he could perceive what others couldn't—the invisible threads of fate and mystery that wove through reality.
"Just checking if you're settled in," came Raul's voice from the outside the door "Need anything?"
"No, thank you," Lei replied, keeping his voice steady despite his racing heart. "I'm fine."
After his footsteps faded, Lei closed his again and Lei turned his attention to The Door's Apprentice sequence. This one felt different—instead of revealing what was hidden, it seemed to hint at paths between places, at ways to step through the boundaries of reality itself. When he focused on it, he could feel... options, like invisible doorways hovering just out of reach.
Then tried divination, door opening, leaving error alone as that's a practical for full trial.
[next day]
The morning after his acceptance into Loki Familia, Lie stood before a full-length mirror in his new quarters, studying the markings on his back. The status inscription gleamed faintly in the dawn light, three distinct patterns interweaving like strands of fate.
The Fool - Seer Sequence [9]
The Door - Apprentice Sequence [9]
The Error - Marauder Sequence [9]
"Lie?"
Lie spun around as herd someone calling him to find a green-haired elf leaning against his doorframe, arms crossed. Riveria Ljos Alf, the Familia's executive and Level 6 adventurer, regarded him with calculating eyes.
"Most newcomers get one skill if they're lucky," she continued, entering the room uninvited. "Three is... unprecedented."
"I suppose I'm special," Lie replied carefully, pulling his shirt back on. He'd expected Loki to tell the leaders, but not this quickly.
Riveria's lips curved into a humorless smile. "Special enough for Loki to call an emergency meeting last night." She gestured for him to follow. "Come. The others are waiting."
The meeting room was packed with familiar faces—faces Lie had only seen in stories before. Finn Deimne, the pallum captain, sat at the head of the table. Gareth Landrock stroked his beard thoughtfully. Bete Loga lounged in his chair, looking bored and the rest of the first class adveturers. Also there, grinning like she'd found a new toy, sat Goddess Loki.
"Show them," Loki commanded, gesturing at Lie's back.
Lie complied, removing his shirt once more. The room fell silent as they studied his status. He could feel their eyes tracing each pattern, each number.
"The skills," Finn mused, "all peculiar"
"But what do they do?" Bete growled. "Pretty patterns don't kill monsters."
"Do you have any idea?" asked Finn to Lie
"A little bit yeah but rather than telling, it would be easier to show it" said Lei as he looked at everyone
"Captain, stand up and make your mind to do something, don't tell me what though" said Lei as he closed his eyes enter cogitation state repeating seven times aloud to show others.
"the purpose of captain"
As if in response, Lie felt a sudden surge from The Fool. His vision changed,. Thread of future stretched out before him, showing him what's gonna happen.
"Duck," Lie said a bit loudly , looking toward Bete as he suddenly opened his eyes.
"Wha—" Bete started, but Lie was already moving, pulling the werewolf down as a smack came hi way and Finn the smacker just smiled intrigued.
"The Seer of Fool i presume," the pallum captain said softly. "You can see what's coming, can't you?"
Lie straightened, helping an annoyed Bete up.
"Tch" Bete clearly annoyed growled he really wanted to beat the guy up but Reveria look towards him said otherwise.
"it's divination…it allows me to predict the past ,present and future but its not absolute, the more information I have about something the more accurate the predictions, but never absolute.
The room was silent for a beat too long after Lei's final reveal. Even Loki looked halfway between impressed and disturbed.
Then—
"That. Was. So. COOL!" Tiona practically exploded, flailing her arms like a kid on a sugar high. "He just read the future like a fortune cookie!"
"I want mine read next!" she added, hopping over to Lei and thrusting her hand out like she was getting her palm read at a street fair. "Do me! Do me!"
Lei blinked. "...I need a focus item, not your hand."
Tione, still lounging with her arms crossed, raised an eyebrow. "Hmph. So he's a mysterious little psychic boy. Bet he's gonna start charging for romantic predictions next, though she said that but she also wanted to know about her and captain.
"That sounds like you!" Tiona grinned, elbowing her twin.
"Shut up, Tiona."
Meanwhile, Ais tilted her head at Lei. "...So you see things? Like, people's secrets?" clearly uneasy.
The way she said it was so calm, Lei almost thought she's gonna attack.
Lei raised both hands. "No secrets seen without permission. I respect privacy... and swords."
"Good," Ais said simply, but her eyes lingered a second longer than comfort allowed.
Tiona, unbothered as usual, spun around in a circle and stopped to point dramatically. "I hereby declare him: The Seer of Loki Familia! Fortune teller of doom! The mysterious handsome psychic!"
Lei blinked. "...You think I'm handsome?"
"Nope," she said with a wink. "But it adds flair!"
Tione rolled her eyes hard enough to cause seismic activity. "If he's joining us, he better not be as annoying as you."
"Don't worry," Lei deadpanned. "I don't have the stamina to match your energy."
That got a short pfft from Ais.
Loki, lounging on the couch now like a cat with cream, stretched and grinned. "Oh, I like him. He's weird and witty. My two favorite flavors."
Just as the energy from his Seer reveal began to settle, Lei stepped back with a casual, "Wanna see something cooler?"
"Cooler than mind-reading?" Tiona said, eyes already gleaming. "Yes, always yes!"
He turned to the far wall—solid stone, unbroken—and placed his palm against it. A shimmering ripple pulsed outward, and with a click, a corpeal door with an ornate handle formed right on the wall.
Everyone blinked.
Then the door creaked open slowly, revealing the hallway they'd walked through earlier.
Lei smiled. "I call it... 'A Convenient Exit.'"
He stepped through.
Then back in.
Then through again.
And back in.
"Is he... is he just flexing now?" Tione muttered, lips twitching.
"Probably," Tiona said. "I love it."
"I want one!" Tiona immediately ran to the door and tried poking it. "Can I get one to the bathhouse? No more hallways!"
"No," Lei said flatly. "It only works for me, for now but I have a feeling that I will be able to once I develop myself in the future"
Tiona pouted. "Lame."
Ais, who had been watching closely, stepped forward and poked the door with the flat of her blade. "It's real."
"Can you travel long distance?" Already thinking, how It could save time to reach lower floors.
"Same as before, needs more development"
Riveria was already scribbling notes with intense focus. "So, it possible?, That's high-level spatial manipulation. Borderline teleportation but more stable. If that's a skill, it must have some requirements or restrictions right? "
"Not really, just require mind"
Finn was already staring at the wall-turned-door with narrowed eyes. "If long distance travel is possible then you could set this up behind enemy lines. Retreat from deep floors. Or flank monsters with sudden exits"
Gareth grunted thoughtfully. "No need to carve out paths or wait for terrain. If it works in the dungeon... it's a game-changer."
Loki leaned back with a long, appreciative whistle. "Oi oi oi, now I really hit the jackpot. A psychic and a portable front door."
Tione crossed her arms. "Still looks sketchy. What if he just opens a door into our shower room?"
Lei gave her a completely deadpan look. "That's how I die."
Ais nodded seriously. "He would."
Tiona cackled. "He'd deserve it."
Lei pinched the bridge of his nose. "I regret everything."
Riveria's voice cut through. "Focus. How long does the door stay open?"
"Mind down" Lei answered. "Or until I close it."
Finn's eyes gleamed. "Could you place one behind us while we're advancing, then use it to escape if we're overwhelmed in your current condition?"
"If there's a passage behind and no one's tampered with the space, yes."
Tiona waved her hands excitedly. "He's like a walking escape rope!"
Lei opened his mouth to reply—then stopped. "…I can't even argue with that."
Gareth nodded slowly. "A good backup. Not perfect, but we've lost parties for lack of an exit."
"Mm," Riveria agreed, already mentally compiling possible scenarios.
Lei took a breath, hands behind his back like a kid about to confess to stealing sweets.
"This one's called The Error. Not flashy. No magic. Just fingers, eyes, and a knack for knowing what shouldn't be where it is."
Tiona leaned forward, eyes gleaming. "Oooh! Gonna show us your thief-y side now?"
Tione rolled her eyes. "If he tries to swipe my dagger, I'm kicking him through the wall."
Lei raised both hands in surrender. "Nothing disrespectful, I swear. But… you might wanna check your pockets later."
Bete immediately narrowed his eyes and patted himself down. "Oi—"
"No, no, I'm joking!" Lei said quickly. "I couldn't take a hair off your tail even if I tried, with your reflexes."
He stepped toward a nearby bookshelf behind Loki. "But say, for instance… there's a room full of monsters, two trapped doors, and no clear exit."
They watched as he casually ran his fingers across the shelf edges, paused, tapped once—and pulled out a book
Click.
A slight gap opened, revealing a wine bottle with soma printed on it.
"Goddess Loki , for this month" said Lei grinning as he gave the bottle to Loki.
"hey that's the one I saving " Loki blinked as she launched towards the bottle panicked.
Riveria frowned. "Loki?"
"Mama, its nothing" said Loki looking at the side.
He turned to the trio. "I can't outrun a Level 6. I won't win in a fight. But give me a second to breathe, and I'll find the way you didn't see—a loose stone, a missing floorboard, an unguarded pocket, or a backup escape route."
Finn looked genuinely intrigued now. "A dungeon-runner who specializes in reading environments…"
Riveria nodded slowly. "That's a rare talent. Especially paired with good intuition."
Gareth stroked his beard. "With enough training, he might even catch patterns we miss in the deeper floors."
"Exactly," Lei said. "I find errors. Gaps. Loopholes. And I use them. Whether it's to steal a map off a bandit, slip past a trap trigger, or grab a monster core no one else noticed fell—that's the point of this skill."
Tione whistled low. "Okay. I kinda like this one."
Tiona grinned. "It's like having a little raccoon on the team! Cute and thieving!"
"I'm not a raccoon—!"
"No, you're a sneaky gremlin," Bete muttered. "Just keep your hands outta my gear."
Lei tilted his head thoughtfully. "Your pouch strap is frayed on the left. One tug and—"
"Don't even try it."
Everyone laughed, even Ais, who blinked and said, "So… he sees the hidden path?"
"Something like that," Lei replied, smiling.
Loki wiped a tear from laughing. "Gods, you're gonna be so much fun in the Dungeon."
Loki grinned wide. "Welcome to the Familia, racoon-boy. I got plans for you."
"really?"Said lei tilted his head as he exhaled slowly, wondering if he'd just stepped into a circus disguised as a Familia. But as odd as they were, something about their chaos felt... warm.
Loki clapped her hands together. "Well then! Let's see what our new friend can do. Gareth, take him to the training grounds. Bete, you're up first. Try not to break him too quickly."
As they filed out of the room, Lie caught Riveria's eye. The elf's expression was unreadable, but her words carried clear warning: "Remember, child. In Orario, unique powers don't just open doors—they paint targets."
Lie touched his back where the Loki's blessing resides . He'd chosen this path knowing the risks. Now it was time to prove he could walk it.
The training grounds awaited, and with them, the first real test of his abilities. The fool, the door, and the error—three paths converging into one destiny. His destiny.
Whether that was fortune or curse remained to be seen.
