Chapter 3 - Chapter Three

By now, all the classmates in the class had gathered around, and Cheng Cai had also figured out Li Mou's identity.

Looking at the other's puffed - up, angry face, he suddenly remembered the rumored "Omega Demolition Genius" on North City Planet. It was said that someone had used pheromones to concoct a solvent capable of corroding alloys, turning the blast - proof door of an entire laboratory into a honeycomb.

The person in front of him was like an irritated kitten at the moment, baring his teeth yet trying to maintain composure. That awkward demeanor was... rather amusing?

"Ahhem." Cheng Cai turned his face away, suppressing a laugh, when suddenly, heavy footsteps came from the direction of the laboratory building.

Yuan Gungun, the dean of students, was hugging a holographic attendance board. He stumbled along the antique - style path like an out - of - control chubby ball, resembling a rolling planet.

"Student Cheng Cai!" Yuan Gungun's panting mixed with the humming of the equipment. "The matter of you breaking the mechanical joints of a senior from Grade Three in the virtual battlefield last week hasn't been —"

"It was a misunderstanding!" Cheng Cai immediately put on a bright smile and gave Li Mou's shoulder a shake. The latter was as stiff as an electrified antenna. "We were having a friendly pheromone exchange, right?"

Li Mou stared at the hand on his shoulder, his nails almost digging into his palm. He suddenly caught a faint whiff of gunpowder smoke on Cheng Cai, a unique mark left by long - term immersion in mecha battles...

He now had the perfect plan to get back at Cheng Cai for all the grievances he'd suffered today, doubling the payback!

"Right, an exchange of feelings." Li Mou forced a smile. Then, noticing that the ID badge on Yuan Gungun's chest was scanning his wristband, he quickly adjusted the frequency of his fake alpha pheromones to the maximum. "We were discussing... how to effectively control pheromone resonance."

The surrounding classmates nodded in approval, impressed by the new student's reasonableness.

Although these kids were mischievous, they hadn't been tainted by the bad habits of society and still had pure hearts. Other than occasionally giving the school leaders and teachers headaches, they were actually quite good kids.

Seeing this, Yuan Gungun pushed up his slipping glasses, glanced at the flashing "alpha" gender indicator on the display screen, and admonished these "troublemakers" again.

"We should cherish peace! We're all in the same school, like brothers. No fighting, got it?"

"Anyway, back to the classroom first!" Yuan Gungun sighed wearily and pointed at the dormitory building in the distance with orange warning lights flashing. "Cheng Cai, your dormitory positioning shows that you haven't entered the sleep pod for 48 hours —"

"Oh, I forgot." Cheng Cai interrupted nonchalantly, still wearing that same carefree smile, looking completely unconcerned.

This made Yuan Gungun roll his eyes in exasperation.
