Once Upon a time there lived a little girl. She had everything she could ask for; a mother, a brother, a big happy family but most importantly her father, who adored her more than anything in the world.
Sweet little girl she was always covered in colours of pink. A lively little girl she was; always smiling and laughing. She was the main attraction wherever she went; her father's pride she was; was this little girl's life always this perfect?
No one knew the truth behind the smiles, of how her mother was never satisfied; for her big perfect family she was not perfect enough but all the while through every obstacle her father was her knight. He would protect his little girl like a precious little flower; never letting anyone near.
Then one day gone was the smile; left with only the bitter thorns to survive.
Her father was gone; and now she was all alone.
Oh! That poor girl how she did cry! But gone was that time her father was alive. No one to protect her now, she was scared and alone. In this big world how would she live. Betrayed by all she trusted; that little girl; she saw too much.
The pain was short live, she buried it deep. She thought she was the oldest; she had to stay strong; but the world had done her so much wrong. People that treated her like a princess; she was now to them a distress. Quietly she bore; the pain of being different; the price of being real.
Black was her color now, all around. She had given up all hope; just letting the days pass by, frozen was her heart; colder than ice. None were invited in her heart; No! She could not possibly take the hurt of losing one again. Lonely was her world now, alone; without any pain. This was alright. This she could take. Not caring about anyone anymore; after all they were all fake.
Each day passed like the last; wasting away. She did not care; after all it was ok. As long as this miserable life would end, she would happily join her dad in heaven. Gone would be this world that treated her like a waste of space, gone would be her mother that did not want her to stay; gone would be the family that wanted someone else.
Once up on a time there lived a little girl
But no more
She is not the sweet little girl she used to be before
She does not see dreams with open eyes anymore
After she had to tell her father goodbye
Broken were her dreams along with her heart
Once up on a time there lived a little girl
But that time has long gone
Empty are her eyes
Every day she dies
A hollow soul inside
The girl from once upon a time
She cried, cried and cried
But now her eyes are dry
Goodbye that little girl from once upon a time......
