Chapter 3 - CHAPTER 3

After hearing the full explanation from the system, Ito Hirofumi finally understood.

The system was divided into five summoning tiers—white, green, blue, purple, and gold. Through these tiers, he could summon souls from the world of the dead.

In other words, he could call upon deceased shinobi as his own summoning beasts, a concept that twisted the traditional Kuchiyose no Jutsu far beyond anything Konoha had ever seen.

For now, the only souls he could summon belonged to former residents of Konohagakure.

But even within that limit—wasn't that still ridiculous?!

If he could summon Senju Hashirama and Uchiha Madara, wouldn't he become an unstoppable force?

Just imagining it made Hirofumi tremble with excitement.

The First Hokage's Shinsuusenju clashing alongside Madara's Perfect Susanoo? Together? Under his command?

Who wouldn't want to watch the Thousand-Armed Buddha and the True Susanoo tear through nations like tissue paper?!

With both the God of Shinobi and the Ghost of the Uchiha by his side, even the Three Great Sage Lands and the Nine Tailed Beasts would be like mere genin in comparison.

And the most exciting part—they were both Konoha shinobi!

That meant summoning them was theoretically possible through this system!

"System! Since there are five summoning tiers, there must be prerequisites, right?

What do I need to do to initiate a summon? Do I have to complete system tasks or missions?"

**[This system will not assign mandatory quests.

There is no forced progression.

The host may earn or deposit silver taels to gain "Wealth Points."

Wealth Points are required to perform summons:

• White Summon: 10,000 Wealth Points

• Green Summon: 100,000 Wealth Points

• Blue Summon: 1,000,000 Wealth Points

• Purple Summon: 10,000,000 Wealth Points

• Gold Summon: 100,000,000 Wealth Points

Conversion rate is 1 silver tael = 1 Wealth Point.

Additionally, each time the host successfully performs a summon, a random ability from the summoned soul will be integrated into the host's body.]**

Hirofumi, who had been buzzing with anticipation at the thought of commanding Hashirama and Madara, felt like someone had dumped a bucket of cold water over his head.

One hundred million Wealth Points for a single gold-tier summon?!

That meant one hundred million silver taels!

No matter how he calculated it—even if the entire Ito Clan liquidated every asset they owned—it still wouldn't come close.

In the Naruto world, silver taels were not to be underestimated.

According to the manga, the bounty on Sarutobi Asuma—a skilled elite jōnin and the biological son of the Third Hokage—was only 35 million taels.

That price included both his combat ability and his political value, making it clear that 100 million was no small amount.

There was no inflation in the shinobi economy.

Silver taels meant something.

But when Hirofumi thought about it again, maybe the system wasn't unfair after all.

An elite jōnin like Asuma was worth 35 million taels, yet a purple summon only required 10 million.

The value gap actually worked in his favor.

Besides, Kage-level powerhouses like Tobirama, Hiruzen, or even Itachi… couldn't be measured by bounty numbers. Their presence alone could change the tide of war.

The more he thought about it, the more excited Hirofumi became.

If he could grow stronger—strong enough to take on high-level missions—he could definitely reach that amount.

In Konoha, S-rank missions brought in 1 million taels or more depending on complexity.

Even A-rank missions earned anywhere from 150,000 to 500,000 taels, which meant if he played his cards right, he could farm his way up the ranks.

And who said missions were the only way to earn money?

Just look at Jiraiya.

The man traveled the world, but not for missions—he made a fortune by writing Icha Icha Paradise.

He turned his perversion into profit, becoming a best-selling author across the Five Great Nations!

I'm not interested in writing pervy books like Jiraiya—but I can rob people!

After all, the world of Naruto has always followed the rule of the strong dominating the weak.

If Ito Hirofumi could find a few rich shinobi or nobles and clean them out, wouldn't he become wealthy in no time?!

As soon as that thought took root, he no longer felt so frustrated.

"System, since this is our first meeting, and considering your supposed 'unknown error' caused a delay of years before I was finally bound to you…

You do owe me something, right?

You were supposed to give me a blessing of fertility and prosperity—and now that function's broken!

Shouldn't you give me compensation?

Other systems have beginner gift packs. Don't tell me you don't have one!"

[Distributing novice gift pack…

Congratulations to the host for receiving: 1x Golden Summon!]

"WHAAAT?!! For real?!"

Ito Hirofumi shouted in disbelief. "System! I LOVE YOU!"

He hadn't expected it to actually work—but it did! A gold-tier summon, the equivalent of 100 million silver taels, just dropped into his lap!

But more importantly, this wasn't just about money—gold summoning meant he could potentially summon the most powerful shinobi to ever die in Konoha.

And honestly, the list wasn't long.

Senju Hashirama, the First Hokage—called the God of Shinobi.

Uchiha Madara—the only man who could match Hashirama in life, whose power shook the foundations of the shinobi world.

Even the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, was a possibility, known for mastering all forms of shinobi techniques in Konoha.

With a chance like that, how could his heart not race?

Without hesitation, Hirofumi yelled:

"System! Use my golden summon now!"

[Please initiate the Summoning Ritual manually.]

"Huh? I have to perform the jutsu even though I already bonded with the system?"

Still, Hirofumi didn't hesitate. He recalled the exact technique Iruka had explained earlier that day—

He formed the proper hand seals: Boar → Dog → Bird → Monkey → Ram—the standard sequence for the Summoning Technique.

Then he slammed his palm into the ground.

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!!!"

Golden chakra erupted from the point of contact, forming a dazzling summoning array beneath him.

The characters carved into the glowing seal were written in ancient, spiritual kanji, glowing so bright they lit up the fog around him.

A ball of soul-fire flickered at the center, and then… a human figure began to form, pieced together by chakra threads and spirit particles.

As the form solidified, Hirofumi's eyes widened.

Red armor—

Hedgehog-like hair spiking backward—

Eyes slowly flickering to life, burning with the presence of a fallen titan.

Uchiha Madara.

It was him. No doubt.

Red plated armor of the Warring States era. The signature fan-shaped crest at his waist. And that non-mainstream hairstyle that could only belong to a legend.

"I ACTUALLY SUMMONED MADARA?!"

Hirofumi nearly screamed. "A real golden legend?!"

Meanwhile, Madara's senses sharpened.

His hand lifted to his chest, then to his face, as he looked around in confusion.

"Where am I…?

Resurrected? No—this isn't the Reanimation Jutsu.

Obito? Zetsu? No… I don't sense their presence.

This chakra—it feels like a summoning formula.

But how?! I'm still in the afterlife… this isn't the physical world."

Madara's eyes narrowed. His sharingan glowed faintly, analyzing the summoning circle beneath his feet and the strange chakra tether connecting him to Hirofumi.

The golden light faded slowly, revealing his full form—majestic, oppressive, and brimming with dormant power.

Even while doing nothing, just standing with his arms crossed, Madara radiated dominance.

And then he looked straight at Ito Hirofumi.

"Kid.

Explain.

Now."

The weight of his voice was enough to make the air grow cold.
