I'm Arthur. I live a normal and somewhat difficult life.
I'm a highschool student, part-timer, currently 17 years old and living alone. No girlfriend.
I'm a highschool student and work a part-time job, barista at the coffee shop in the afternoon and convenience store cashier at night, I work hard everyday to earn money, I earn just enough for myself.
I don't have parents. My mother died when she gave birth to me, when my mother died took care of me. But he also passed away when I was 10 years old. So I worked hard to earn a living every day.
If you're wondering about my father, I don't know who he is. My grandpa told me that he divorced my mother before I was born. The reason? I don't know the reason, but maybe he had another family when he got my mother pregnant.
Being alone in life is very tiring and painful. Day after day I work as hard as I could, until my body collapsed from exhaustion. After a long night of work I'd lie in bed, lift my right hand towards the ceiling, and open my palm, thinking;
"If things keep going like this, what will happen in my future? Can I keep going?"
Grrummble!!!
Just then I heard my stomach growling, I got up to make some noodle soup. After I ate I went straight to bed to sleep because I still have school.
...
...
The next morning, I hurried to school riding my beloved bicycle, when I arrived, I went straight to my seat, write an essay, and take a nap.
I went straight to my part-time job at the coffee shop. After finishing my work at the coffee shop, I went straight to my other part-time, once I arrived, I open the store, arrange the products, and too my place at the register.
The store didn't have many staff, so each shift was covered by a single person, meaning I have to handle various tasks myself, it was tough, but the pay is decent for a side job.
Time passed, and suddenly, a female customer entered the store, I don't know her, but I couldn't help but be distracted by her appearance, she was beautiful, with long, shiny black hair, and brown eyes. She was probably an office worker, considering her formal attire.
"Do you have vitamin supplements from Brand X?"
"Unfortunately, we're out of that. Would you like Brand Y instead? It has the same benefits"
"Oh, That's fine. Thank you." She said with a gentle smile.
After she was finished shopping and was heading out, I noticed a suspicious person, trailed her into a narrow alley.
When I reach the alley.
KYYYAAAAA!!
I heard a scream, and saw the woman being mugged and struggling as the assailant struck her face, I immediately rushed in and kicked the mugger sending him flying.
The mugger stood up, pulled out a knife, and rushed at the woman.
KYYAAA!!
Thud! While I shoved the woman away.
Stab! I felt a sudden burning pain in my upper abdomen.
I gazed at the man as he scape, then confirmed the safety of the woman.
The woman seemed to be in a shocked due to what happened, it's looks like she was not hurt. That's a relief.
At any rate my stomach feels like it's burning. Beyond that a simple painful sensation, my stomach feels as if it's on fire.
What is this? This is way too hot...
Perhaps... I've been stabbed?
I haven't had a girlfriend yet.
H-HELP!
H-help "hic... Hicc... B-blood is pouring, the bleeding won't stopped.
(Blood? Well yeah, it's pouring out, I'm just a human you know, if I get stabbed of course I'll bleed.)
Still I can't the pain.
Urgh... This is bad the pain and shocked seems to be confusing my mind.
"Sob...bl.- the blood, sob"
"M-miss I'm fine, so stop crying."
The woman couldn't stop crying. He tried to hold me in his arms. That expression is ruining his good looks.
Slowly I close my eyes.
Memories of my past flickered before my eyes-,one by one, they flashed until they dissolved into darkness. My body felt numb and icy, the cold seeping into my bones.
And suddenly, the darkness swallowed, me and everything went silent.
...
...
When I woke up, the first thing I felt was my eyes being dazzled.
Light filled my vision, and I narrowed my eyes in discomfort.
Once my eyes adjust to brightness, I looked around and found myself in a beautiful room.
I sat up and my body feeling slightly... Off as I did so, and looked around.
The bed I was lying on was slightly larger than the single bed in my room, and the room I was in now had a table and other furniture arrange inside it. There was a chandelier hanging from the ceiling, and sunlight was shining through in a small gap in the curtains in front of the windows
"It seems I survived. I wonder what kind of hospital this is. Like, seriously, what kind of treatment is this, placing me in such an extra-vagant single looking room."
I looked around the room again, noticing something moving slightly at the foot of my bed.
Now that I had noticed that, I also noticed the chair, and the girl sitting in it, who seemed to be just waking up, having been resting half on my bed half on his chair.
As the girl sat up, I noticed that she was still quite young. She was also wearing a made outfit.
We looked each other and froz. Then, tears begab to flowing down the girl's cheeks.
"Lord rioooo!!!
He suddenly hugged me.
I don't know why, but this girl was now crying, burying her face into my chest.
"Thank goodness.... You didn't wake up for a whole week."
That's all the woman said, while hugging me tightly.
"Hey, what are you doing? Stop-!?"
I tried to break free to her grip, but the girl in the maid outfit was too big compared to me for me to be able to do anything.
"Eh, h-huh? How come I'm smaller? And why is there a maid here instead of a nurse?"
And suddenly, memories of other person entered my mind.
(Huh? W-what is that?)
I looked at my hand and opened and close it. It was nowhere near the size of in their second year in high school, but seemed instead to be a hand more befitting an infant.
As I was staring at my hand in a daze, the maid suddenly stood up.
"I shall inform the lady about this." She said while wiping her tears.
The girl in the maid uniform quickly left the room.
"What in the world happened to me?" I asked myself while opening and closing my hand.
"I saved the woman, got stabbed, then fainted.... And now I'm in a hospital?? But the girl called me Rio...
While I was trying to organize my thoughts, the sound of someone rushing down the corridor reached me, and the door being opened not long after.
A woman in her twenties with silver hair, and blue eyes rushed into me.
"Rio! You woke up! You fell down the stair and didn't wake up for a whole week, I was so worried." The woman with silver hair and blue eyes said while crying.
She was wearing a rather well-made dress. Seeing a person so different from normal made me wondered again.
Moreover, this beautiful woman was now hugging me, crying from happiness.
My face was being squashed by her softer parts, making me embarrassed.
"Rio! Do you recognize me? Do you recognize your mum? You haven't lost your memory right?"
Arthur was speechless due to shocked.
He wondered, what was happening and what that memory was.
His thoughts still all over the place, Arthur simply simply stared at his self-proclaimed mother.
"My lady, lord Rio has just woken up, so his thoughts might still be in disarray."
"He did sleep for a whole week, so you might have a point. Alright Rio, just take it easy and rest today. I'll pop in again later. Your dad and siblings was really worried about you too."
"Anabelle. Please keep an eye on him for today. Also soup should be fine, so I'll have some made.
"As you wish, my lady."
Arthur's self-proclaimed mother and the girl with maid uniform left the room, to prepare food.
On his own room, Arthur was in a daze again, and couldn't believe for what had happened.
"Is this what they call reincarnation? It seems like i didn't really survive... But that's fine because I managed to save the woman."
Arthur muttered to himself, lying back down in the bed and staring at the ceiling.
Some time later, there was a Knock on his door, and the maid earlier entered the room with a bowl of soup on a stray.
"Lord Rio, I have brought soup for you."
Arthur slowly sat up, the maid put the soup on a table next to the bed, and Arthur began to eat.
After a few minutes, Arthur finished eating and the maid left the room.
"Hmmm."
Based on my other memories my name in this world is Rio von Valeheart, 4 years old, and my mother's name is Silvia von Valeheart, my father is Alexander von Valeheart Valenwyre.
If I remember correctly, my dad had black hair and red eyes. I have siblings from his first wife. And I am the second son.
Alexander had two wives, with my mother being the second one.
His first wife's name was Selena von Valeheart, and their first son was Simon von Valeheart, 7 years older than me, and their first daughter was Sarah von Valeheart, 1 year younger than me. Simon was attending in the royal capital, Selena was staying with him in the villa the capital...
And my father is a margrave who governed the Valenwyre territory in the kingdom of Arcanthyr Vale.
The kingdom of Arcanthyr Vale was located in the very centre of the Eryndor continent, surrounded by various country.
The margrave of Arcanthyr Vale possessed the lands bordering other country, and we're allowed to have their own army with which they could protect their lands and the country.
The head of the house was allowed to add the name of their territory after their own. The 'von ' in the middle of someone's name meant they were a noble, while the commoner's only had given names.
I felt a little relived after remembering margraves belonged to the higher-ranking of the noble.

It's been a days since I was reincarnated. And for what I learned, in this world there is magic and monsters. And I also learned from Belle that my mother is a mage and my father is a swordsman.
