As i walked into the mid-lit cave entrance the people i came with began to disperse into sun-lit top forest greenery and went away to do something else.some gave me a good luck saying and others just waved to show our parting,whereas my closest of friends waved at me with vigour while screaming good byes as if would never meet them again.
Though i can still see them trying to hold their laughter from the distance between us.
I waved back and said "don't worry bout me! I'll make sure to send mine into your ears in the morning! I'm sure all of you will get along fine!".
And hearing my friendly words most tried to apologise while others just shivered and didn't say anything.
After i couldn't make out their faces i started walking inside the cave.
I wondered why we had to go inside a cave of all things to get my familliar despite us having a damn laboratory to grow them in multiple ways.
Alas,it was probably some kind of tradition that they wanted to keep and besides i can't really whine much since even the greater families have to go through caves to get their arachnids.
I was born as an arachnidia,though people consider us a different race altogether,we are quite literally human in every way possible,well that was a lie,our ancestor coppulated with an arachnid and thats why we are compatable with arachnids.
I didn't really understand why we didn't just call them spiders at first but i guessed it was because of the extreme capability to evolve through their life in extraordinary ways accordingly to their environment, and now i would get one as well,which I would grow into a fine adult arachnid before being added into the millitary service project along with it.
Though it probably wouldn't be a really good and special arachnid,i know because i'm not special either.
It'd probably be one of the commons,perhaps the pheontix? Or maybe the lercher! If anything i don't want to fight enemies un-gaurded but i also want to stay away so it would be great if i got a lercher!,yeah a terixon would be great to go with a lercher! I could use the terixon to sheild myself while shooting at people from far away with the lercher.Of course i have to ask permission to get another arachnid but oh well,hard work is needed for hard work after all.
The caves now dimmed into a darker shade and visibility was hindered but my hearing was still perfect.with it i could also hear all the slittering and crawling of spiders.
