Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 : Rebirth of the Devil

CRASH!

The ground trembled under the force of impact as Vạn Thiên Phong's body was violently slammed into the cold, unforgiving stone. Pain exploded through his ribs, and a warm trickle of blood dripped from the corner of his mouth. His vision blurred, and the world spun around him in a dizzying whirl. He could barely breathe, let alone fight back.

Yet, the more pain he endured, the clearer his mind became. Through the haze, something changed. Something shifted deep inside him.

"Get up, you useless piece of trash," a mocking voice sneered from above. "This is where you belong, at the bottom. The Vạn family will never be able to save you."

The words echoed in his ears, but they didn't affect him the way they should have. Instead, they ignited something within him. Anger. Rage. The need for vengeance.

Vạn Thiên Phong's body trembled with the effort to push himself up. With a grimace, he slowly rose, his hand gripping the stone floor for support. He spat out the blood in his mouth, his eyes narrowing with cold determination.

He had been humiliated for the last time.

A figure dressed in crimson robes stood before him, looking down with disdain. This person was a disciple of the prestigious Xianwu Sect, the very sect that had abandoned him, the one that had cast him aside like a worthless pawn. The disciple's sneer deepened as he stepped forward, his foot poised to crush Vạn Thiên Phong once and for all.

"You really think you can stand against me? After all these years of humiliation, you still want to fight back?" the disciple laughed, his voice laced with cruel amusement.

But Vạn Thiên Phong did not respond. He didn't need to. His eyes, now glowing with an unnatural light, locked onto the disciple with a terrifying intensity.

"You have no idea who I am."

The words were spoken with such chilling calm that the disciple faltered for a brief moment. The mocking smile slowly faded from his face, replaced with a flicker of uncertainty.

Vạn Thiên Phong took a deep breath, his chest heaving as if he were awakening from a long slumber. And indeed, he was. His body, which had once been a fragile shell of weakness, now pulsed with an energy that was foreign yet familiar. The dark, mysterious power began to stir within him, resonating with every cell in his being.

The voice echoed within his mind, a dark presence he had never felt before. But instead of fear, it filled him with a strange sense of purpose. His very soul felt reborn, no longer shackled by the weakness that had defined him.

Suddenly, a surge of power erupted from within him. Dark energy rippled through the air, coiling around his body like a living entity. The disciple's eyes widened in shock as the temperature around them seemed to drop, and a sinister aura enveloped the surroundings.

The Devil was awakening.

With a swift motion, Vạn Thiên Phong reached out, his fingers barely touching the air, but it was enough. In an instant, the disciple was lifted off the ground, suspended by the dark energy that now surrounded him. The disciple's body jerked and convulsed as the energy tightened around him like an unbreakable chain.

"What... what is this?!" The disciple gasped, panic creeping into his voice. His earlier arrogance crumbled into fear as he realized the terrifying power that now controlled him.

Vạn Thiên Phong stepped forward, his face a mask of cold resolve. He was no longer the weakling who had been humiliated by his peers. No longer the discarded tool. He had transcended that fate.

"You should never have underestimated me," Vạn Thiên Phong's voice was low, but each word resonated with a chilling authority.

The disciple struggled, his hands reaching out in a futile attempt to break free. But the dark energy only tightened, crushing his defenses. The more he fought, the more the power seemed to grow stronger, feeding off his fear.

"Please... spare me..." the disciple begged, his voice trembling. "I was just following orders... Please..."

But Vạn Thiên Phong's expression remained unmoved. The time for mercy had passed. The time for revenge had come.

With a swift motion, he clenched his fist, and the disciple's body was crushed by the overwhelming power. The sound of bones snapping echoed in the air, and the disciple's body went limp, falling to the ground like a ragdoll.

Vạn Thiên Phong stood over him, looking down at the lifeless body with a calm, almost indifferent gaze. He could feel the surge of power within him, the intoxicating sense of control. For the first time in his life, he had taken his fate into his own hands.

But this was just the beginning.

The crowd that had gathered around them was silent, too stunned to speak. They had witnessed the unimaginable: the weakest disciple of the Vạn family had just taken down a powerful member of the Xianwu Sect. The very sect that had mocked and shunned him. They had seen a miracle, but it was a miracle that would forever alter the course of their world.

Vạn Thiên Phong turned, his eyes sweeping over the onlookers. His cold gaze seemed to freeze everyone in place, and no one dared to meet his eyes. The fear was palpable, thick in the air. They knew, without a doubt, that something had changed. The boy they had once called trash had transformed into something far more terrifying.

The Devil had risen.

He was no longer a pawn in the game of fate. He was no longer the powerless, discarded soul that had been thrown aside. He was the one in control now.

And he would make them all pay.

As the dark mist continued to swirl around him, Vạn Thiên Phong took a step forward, his eyes burning with determination. The path ahead was uncertain, but one thing was clear — he would carve his own destiny, and no one, not even the heavens themselves, would stand in his way.

He was the Devil. He was the one who would rewrite the rules of this world.
