(Shin has the number 999 on his neck)
Ren's thoughts: What the hell? 999 years? I can't kill him like this. Shit. I might have to run.
(The number goes down to 899)
Shin: I now know everything about you, your age, your name, everything.
Ren's thoughts: SHIT! Wait, this is just a misunderstanding, this guy tried to steal from me first, this dead guy.
Shin: Anything you want to say? Or should I just kill you right here and now.
Ren: Listen, he tried to rob me first, and I am kind of low on cash so, I needed the money.
Shin: Wait, what? I am talking about stealing the files, you really think I care about the life of the criminals?
Ren: Aren't you supposed to?

Ren: Fine, I am trying to find a person who killed my father, I think he is around the same age as me, but that is all I remember.
Shin: I am willing to help you, if you give me cash. I don't really care how you find it, just do. And you have to get me this money, you are not safe from me.
Ren's thoughts: I will just steal a bank, and this guy might help me. Yea that is it.
Shin: Actually, instead of money, I need you to kill someone…
Ren: Again aren't you a detective, shouldn't you follow the law?
Shin: I will kill you if you keep asking questions.
Ren: Okay, fine.
Shin: Now come with me.
(They go in a hotel)
Receptionist: Hello Shin, welcome back.
Shin: Shut up.
Ren: Wait this is the hotel "Lature", how do they know you.
Shin: This looks like a luxury hotel, but in reality it is a place where criminals make deals for money, or a place for criminals to stay. The police still do not know about this. Of course, I found out about it, but there is no reason to tell it to the police when I can profit from it. And don't dare to try anything.
Ren: I see, well that explains why even rich people barely stay in this hotel then.
(They enter the elevator. They see someone with their tounge out, and spit dripping down of his mouth)
Zed: Hey there.
Ren: Uh, hello.
Ren's thoughts: There is something off about this guy. Shin is being silent, what is he thinking right now?
Shin's thoughts: Wow, the attention is on me. I am hungry.
(They exit the elevator)
Ren: So, who was he?
Shin: Zed, he is a cannibal. Coincidentally, he is also the one i need you to kill.
Ren: He did have the same life essence than you. But wait, why do you want him dead? You don't care about him being a cannibal, at least I think so.
Shin: You are correct. I personally couldn't care less about him. He has helped me before anyways. I just see him as an equal, and that pisses me off.
Ren: Wait, he has helped you?
Shin: Correct. And we can use Zed to help you too.
(They enter the hotel room)
Shin: This way, you can also keep an eye on your target while he is doing the job for you.
Ren: Okay but, how do you have that much life essence, it feels impossible to have that much.
Shin: You are away of essence transfer right?
Ren: I do not think people would give you life essence that easily, even one life essence is important.
Shin: Yes, after all it is 365.25 days, but we have found a way to extract the life essence of the dead.
Ren: But, they're dead, don't they lose their life force.
Shin: No, this was actually a secret the cops had, but now this hotel has leared it too, thanks to me. I did not want them to know about it but, it cannot be undone.
