Chapter 3 - Apologize? Impossible. Worst Case, I Just Quit.

"I can't believe Su Cheng turned out to be such a scumbag."

"Those photos may not show much, but do we really need more proof?"

"All those female celebrities have spoken out. What more do you want?"

"Where's Su Cheng? Why hasn't he come forward and apologized?"

"Apologize? You think this can be solved with an apology?"

"If apologies fixed everything, what's the point of having laws?"

"He should just apologize himself into the afterlife."

"Su Cheng, get out of the entertainment industry!"

"Get out +1."

"Get out +2."

"Get out +3."

"...

..."

When Su Cheng logged into his V-blog, the comments section under his profile — followed by over 50 million fans — had completely exploded.

The outrage was overwhelming. Comment after comment demanded he leave the industry. Condemnation flooded not just his own platform, but every major media outlet online.

It looked more festive than New Year's Eve.

What a joke.

None of these so-called righteous netizens seemed to stop and think — how many celebrities in the entertainment industry were truly innocent?

They didn't know the lengths some female stars had gone to just to get close to him. They played every card they had, pushed every limit.

And that was when he was already picky.

If he'd accepted every offer, if his standards weren't so high, the number of these "girlfriends" would've been double.

But Su Cheng knew — this was partly his own fault.

He wasn't scummy enough.

If he'd treated them like disposable flings, left after a single night, switched partners like outfits, maybe things wouldn't have gotten to this point.

If he'd just ghosted them like most seasoned players did, none of this mess would have happened.

But he hadn't. He still held on to some soft spot for the past.

And now, he was paying the price.

This kind of scandal wasn't even rare in the entertainment industry.

Hong Kong alone had infamous cases — LSPs exposed one after another, with countless female stars caught in the mess. Even they had moved on.

So Su Cheng could only chalk this up as bad luck.

Still, apologize? Not a chance.

Not now, not ever.

Finally, he posted a new message on his V-blog.

"I'll only say three things today."

First, Zifeng, Zuer, and Chaoyue are my sworn god-sisters. We're completely innocent. If you don't believe me, feel free to report it to the authorities and let them investigate.

Second, I've never pursued any female star — not in the past, not now, and I never will.

Third, starting today, I officially withdraw from the domestic entertainment industry. Don't bother me with anything related to this country again.

Lastly, this account will be deleted in 30 minutes. If you want to screenshot anything, do it now.

As soon as the post went live, the internet erupted again.

"WTF! What's King Su saying?!"

"Isn't it obvious? He's saying those women came after him — not the other way around!"

"Holy crap, this melon is massive!"

"Honestly, not surprised. This is Su Cheng we're talking about. The top superstar in the country. Billionaire. Talented. Gorgeous. What woman wouldn't throw herself at him?"

"Female stars are still women. Just because they're famous and beautiful doesn't mean they're immune to charm and money."

"Four Heavenly Kings: Could you show some respect?"

"Come on. That era's long gone. The old stars are outdated. Su Cheng is the now."

"See! I told you Zifeng was innocent!"

"Same with Zuer and Chaoyue. People owe them an apology."

"Looking at it this way, maybe Su Cheng isn't fully to blame."

"Even so, having so many girlfriends at once is still immoral."

"Maybe those women were misled. Maybe they didn't know."

"Or maybe they all knew and just played along for the benefits."

"Damn, if that's true, this industry is beyond messy."

"Who said it wasn't?"

"Whatever. Let's just screenshot this post before he deletes it!"

"Ahhh, girls! Hurry! Save this. We might never see Su Cheng's face again!"

"How is he so stupidly handsome?! This is unfair."

"Right? Some people just win the genetic lottery."

"...

..."

In terms of appearance, Su Cheng's system-rated 95/100.

A peerless beauty — in the same league as Leonardo DiCaprio at his peak.

His fanbase of over 50 million wasn't inflated with bots — it was authentic, with millions of active followers.

If he chose to start livestreaming now, the viewership would crush even the top product-pushing streamers from his past life.

But as promised — when thirty minutes passed, Su Cheng calmly deleted his V-blog account without a hint of hesitation.

Want to block him?

Dream on.

He simply chose to stop playing.

Not in this country.

Not anymore.
