Chapter 26 - Pt.26: The First Strike – Titan-Architect Offensive Begins

The Calm Before the Storm

The Earth stood quiet.

Not in peace—

But in preparation.

Cities had transformed into fortresses, System Users marched in unison under the banner of the Titan Warforce, and Architect-class technologies fused with human ingenuity to forge weapons meant to cut through the fabric of the void itself.

In the skies above Titan Command, three levitating warships hummed like sleeping giants—the first Architect-powered vessels, each pulsing with Titan-infused cores.

At their center stood Liam, now fully integrated as the Titan-Architect Hybrid, watching the stars.

Waiting. Planning. Ready to strike.

> NEW OBJECTIVE:

VOIDBORN INVASION PREVENTION INITIATED.

STATUS: AGGRESSIVE OFFENSIVE ENGAGED.

The System pulsed within Liam's mind.

He wouldn't wait for the Voidborn to come.

He'd bring war to their doorstep.

---

The Gate to the Dark Beyond

Inside the Nexus Chamber—Earth's newly constructed Architect Rift Engine, Liam stood surrounded by Zairoth and two other awakened Architects, now unbound by their ancient rules.

Dante, Elena, Aria, and Shiro stood behind him, armored in the first generation of Titan Warforce combat suits, the aetheric glow around them pulsing with power.

Zairoth raised a hand.

"The Voidborn do not reside in any one space. They are... between existence. This Rift will not transport you. It will re-thread your presence across broken layers of reality."

Liam stepped forward.

"Good. Because I plan to break them apart from the inside."

The Rift ignited, and with a deafening crack, reality tore open into a swirling vortex of black, gold, and endless nothing.

And Earth's most powerful warriors stepped through.

---

The Voidfront: Entering the Broken Realms

The moment they crossed over, every law of reality unraveled.

Up became sideways.

Breath became thought.

Time distorted.

Yet Liam held them together, his Titan aura anchoring the team inside a realm that was never meant to be visited by living minds.

> REALITY-ANCHOR FIELD ACTIVE.

TEAM STATUS: STABLE.

A sickening chill swept through them as the stars twisted unnaturally.

They had arrived in the Voidfront—the fractured edge of the Voidborn's realm.

Floating ahead, Liam saw it:

A massive, rotting construct of black geometry, suspended over an ocean of collapsed timelines.

It was a Voidborn Nest.

And it pulsed… like a heart.

Elena whispered, "That thing's alive."

Dante clenched his fists. "Let's kill it."

Liam raised a hand.

"No. We crack it first. Then we follow the signal back to the source."

---

Engaging the Nest – First Contact Combat

As they approached, the nest erupted—dozens of Voidborn Shades poured forth, formless, hungry beings made of entropy and thought.

They moved like ink through water, whispering screams of forgotten gods.

Shiro vanished, his blades coated in anti-existence venom. He reappeared behind the first Shade, slicing it apart.

Elena darted between creatures, her dual blades now shaped by Architect alloy—cutting them down in blinding flashes.

Dante unleashed a vortex of compressed plasma, fusing System energy with raw elemental fury—incinerating five Shades at once.

But then the Nest roared—and from its core, a larger Voidborn emerged.

> DESIGNATION: VOID GENERAL – KEL-ZURRA

Threat Level: Cataclysmic

Liam surged forward, meeting the monstrosity mid-air.

Titan versus Void General.

Their impact cracked the entire realm, sending ripples across the shattered dimension.

---

The Battle of Shattered Infinity

Kel-Zurra lashed out with blackened tendrils of un-reality, each one capable of turning matter to dust.

Liam blocked them with raw Titan energy, bending the attack back toward its source. He summoned an Aether Lance, piercing one of its seven eyes.

The beast screeched, and for a moment—it flickered.

Liam saw it then.

A conduit.

A connection to something far worse.

"It's feeding intel to the Prime Voidborn."

He couldn't allow that.

"Team!" Liam shouted. "Anchor your strikes to my signal. Hit where I hit!"

Together, they moved:

Shiro: double slashes in perfect sync.

Elena: three-point blade sequence slicing the tendons of thought.

Dante: thermoplasmic blast at the same frequency.

Aria: counter-dimensional wave to stop time distortion.

Liam thrust the Final Core Lance into Kel-Zurra's exposed conduit—

And whispered:

"This is for Reinhold."

> CORE IMPLOSION SUCCESSFUL.

VOID NEST COLLAPSE INITIATED.

The realm shuddered. The nest tore open—collapsing inward.

---

Retreat and Revelation

The team fell back through the Rift just before the Voidfront caved in.

Titan Command greeted them with alarms blaring, but cheers rising as the warships overhead pulsed with acknowledgment:

> FIRST OFFENSIVE: SUCCESSFUL

VOID NEST DESTROYED

NEW INTEL RECOVERED: PRIME VOIDBORN LOCATION IDENTIFIED

Liam stood atop the Command deck, blood drying on his face, armor glowing with spent power.

He didn't speak.

Because this wasn't victory.

It was confirmation.

The Voidborn weren't just coming.

They had already built an empire beyond reality.

And Liam now knew where to find it.
