Chapter 1 - Rebirth

The world of Program: Virtual, or simply PV, was humanity's greatest creation.

It wasn't just a game.

It was another reality.

Inside PV, players were called Creators.

Each Creator could build their own islands, shape the lands, raise armies, summon beasts, invent laws of magic or technology, all with just imagination and code.

Millions of worlds floated in the endless sky of PV.

Some were peaceful gardens.

Others were deadly battlefields.

The only rule was simple:Survive, or be destroyed.

Kael Arclight was one of the best.

At only 24 years old, he had built his own island world, Arclight Haven, completely alone.

No guild.

No alliances.

Only his skills and dreams.

Arclight Haven was beautiful.

Floating mountains connected by shining bridges.

Forests that whispered songs.

Rivers flowing with silver water.

Creatures and guardians crafted line by line by Kael himself.

He didn't seek fame.

He didn't show off.

He only wanted a place of peace in the chaotic sea of worlds.

But peace was rare in PV.

It began with rumors.

"Have you seen Kael's island? It's too perfect."

"He's hoarding rare resources. Secret codes. High-rank data."

"He's dangerous if left alone."

Jealousy.

Fear.

Greed.

One by one, enemy Creators banded together.

Some of them were powerful guild leaders, others mercenaries for hire.

Thirteen islands surrounded Arclight Haven like vultures circling a dying beast.

Kael knew it was coming.

He stood at the highest peak of his island, looking at the enemy islands gathering on the horizon.

His armor, designed from the heart, shimmered with the colors of dawn.

His sword, crafted after days of trial and error, pulsed with living light.

He didn't run.

He didn't beg for help.

He simply waited.

"If this is how it ends... then I will end it standing."

The first cannon fired.

A beam of raw energy smashed into Arclight Haven's shield. The ground shook.

Trees burst into flames.

Data-animals screamed as they disintegrated into pixels.

[ALERT: SHIELD INTEGRITY 70%]

[MULTIPLE ENEMIES DETECTED: 143 UNITS APPROACHING]

Kael moved.

Fast, graceful, deadly.

He raised his sword and summoned a wall of light to block the next missile.

He countered, sending waves of energy back at the enemy islands.

Three enemy users fell immediately, their avatars destroyed.

But for every one he struck down, five more came.

"Arrogant fool!"

"You should've joined us when you had the chance!"

"Die alone like a dog!"

Missiles. Beasts. War-machines.

All poured onto his island.

Kael fought like a demon.

His code manipulated the terrain itself, turning rivers into walls, forests into spears,

mountains into cannons.

But he was only one against many.

And PV, no matter how free, still obeyed numbers.

[WARNING: HOST LIFE 32%]

[WARNING: ISLAND CORE UNDER ATTACK]

Kael stumbled back, bleeding light from his virtual body.

His castle, the heart of Arclight Haven, was already crumbling.

The enemy was almost at the core—the place that held the soul of his creation.

He gritted his teeth.

Sweat mixed with digital static ran down his forehead.

He remembered the days he spent building this world.

Piece by piece.

Line by line.

Not for power.

Not for glory.

But because he loved it.

And now, they were tearing it apart.

[HOST LIFE 7%]

[CRITICAL STATE: ACTIVATING FINAL DEFENSE PROTOCOL]

Kael gathered all the remaining energy left inside him.

A bright aura covered his body, blinding like a second sun.

He charged into the enemy forces, roaring like a wounded lion.

He cut down avatars, monsters, siege weapons—one after another.

But it wasn't enough.

An explosion threw him across the ground.

The sword slipped from his hand.

The world around him burned and glitched, pixel by pixel.

He could barely move.

"Sorry, Haven..." he whispered.

And then—

A sword pierced his chest.

His vision blurred.

He fell onto the broken ground.

[SYSTEM LOGGING FINAL EVENT...]

[ANALYZING HOST POTENTIAL...]

Above the smoking ruins, the system evaluated Kael's data.

He had reached Creation Level 99, an almost impossible feat.

He had mastered independent world-building.

His combat strategy rivaled even top guilds.

But he was dead.

Normally, death meant deletion in PV.

Your world wiped.

Your code erased.

Your name or existence forgotten.

But Kael's records were... different.

Rare.

Unique.

The system paused.

An ancient protocol, long hidden and never activated, flickered awake.

[SUITABLE INDIVIDUAL DETECTED]

[ERROR: HOST LIFE = 0%]

[DING]

The void trembled.

[ACTIVATING TIME REVERSE FUNCTION]

A blue light swallowed the ruins.

Time itself bent, twisted, reversed.

10 Years Earlier.

In a beginner's zone, nothing but blank land, gray skies, and empty data.

A young boy opened his eyes.

It was Kael.

But he looked different.

His body was smaller.

Younger.

Full of energy.

No island.

No weapons.

No fame.

Just an empty page waiting to be written again.

A faint voice echoed in his ears.

[WELCOME BACK]

[THIS TIME... CREATE YOUR DESTINY]

Kael gasped for breath, clutching his chest.

Memories flooded in.

The betrayal.

The siege.

The destruction of Arclight Haven.

His fists clenched.

Tears welled in his eyes but didn't fall.

"This time..."

"I'll build something even greater."

"And I'll crush anyone who tries to take it away."

He looked around at the empty world.

Everything was possible.

Everything was waiting.

Kael smiled, a sharp, fierce smile full of hope and danger.

[SYSTEM: BEGINNER KIT LOADED]

[STARTER ITEMS: 1 Basic Toolset, 1 Seed of World, 1 Beginner Sword]

[SKILLS: None]

He picked up the glowing Seed of World, feeling its warm pulse.

This tiny object could grow into anything.

A floating garden.

A mechanical fortress.

A kingdom of gods.

Kael closed his eyes.

His mind, filled with memories of betrayal, war, and destruction, burned with new ideas.

He didn't need a peaceful haven anymore.

He needed a stronghold.

A world that no enemy could ever break again.

"Let's start."

He planted the seed into the ground.

The ground trembled.

Colors burst into the air.

Lines of code stitched together reality itself.

And so, from nothing, a new world began to grow.

Far away, unseen by Kael, other players in PV were just starting their journey.Laughing. Dreaming. Creating.

They had no idea.

No idea that somewhere in the beginner's field…

A monster was being born.

A Creator who would one day shake the entire Program: Virtual.

A legend rising from defeat.

A king with fire in his heart and war in his hands.

The second life of Kael Arclight had begun.

And this time.

He wasn't here to play.

He was here to rule.
