Nanara's POV
"Alisha, stop!!!!"
"That's so cruel of you!!!"
"How can you suddenly start beating her with a wire???"
"Alisha, stop it!!!"
Seesha blurts out and snatches the wire from Alisha.
"Who cares???"
Alisha sneers, shrugging her shoulders high up.
"Too harsh!!" I mumble under my breath.
Just then, Nanare staggers backward and faints, with a bit of blood dripping from her nose and mouth...
I become more scared as my twin sister collapses. She wasn't breathing anymore. Her eyes were closed, and her lips were tightly shut.
"Nanare!!!!"
I shout her name, rushing to where she fell.
Mhesha and Alisha didn't look concerned at all. Instead, they continued sipping their wine.
Natasha laughs loudly and picks up the landline. As she does, I watch her in horror.
"Hey, step back if you don't want to share in your sister's punishment," Mhesha growls.
Seesha frowns.
"I love this!!!" Alisha claps her hands.
"Me too!!" Mhesha grins.
"Tasha, make it quick!!" Alisha commands.
"Make what quick???" Seesha asks.
"Just watch and see!!" Mhesha rolls her eyes and stylishly hangs her headset around her neck.
"What are you gonna do to the poor girl?" Seesha asks, pointing at Nanare's unconscious body.
"Is what we're gonna do affecting you?" Alisha smirks.
Seesha goes wild and signals me to help Nanare to the maid's quarters. I do as she says before Alisha can think of anything else.
I rush to Nanare's side, helping her up. As we head to the exit door, Alisha and Natasha start laughing.
"Ah, Alisha, you really tried!!" Natasha comments.
"Tried for what? Just a little beating and she fainted. I thought she was stronger than that," Alisha sneers.
"What about me??" Mhesha grins, waiting for an answer.
"Yes, you're really fit for a villain!" Alisha winks.
"Nope… I'm going to act as the lover girl in Richie's script, not a villain."
Mhesha retorts.
"Mtcheeeeeww! You're not fit for a kind person, let alone a lover girl," Seesha smirks.
"Watch your mouth!!" Mhesha responds angrily and stands up, holding her phone.
"Richie hasn't even talked to you and you're here daydreaming!! Better stop dreaming, because Richie is never gonna be yours. Lions don't roll with cats!" Seesha seethes.
"Whatever!!" Mhesha replies arrogantly, knowing she can't try anything with Richie.
"Why are you standing there and listening to our conversation??" Mhesha points her finger at me.
"Sorry!!" I reply and walk toward the maid's quarters, located at the back of the house.
Gangaa was still attending to Nanare. It really pains me to see my twin in pain.
Alisha is the cause of all this. Mhesha isn't that harsh; she's just being pushed into doing evil by Alisha and Natasha.
Alisha is the one influencing Natasha and Mhesha. I just wish all of this will end.
"She's breathing, don't be scared!!" Gangaa mumbles.
"I know!!" I reply, walking over to sit beside Nanare on the bed we share.
"She might open her eyes in the next 30 minutes!" Gangaa says and leaves the room.
"Thank you!" I reply and lock the door and windows immediately after she exits.
The room is not as fancy as the idols' but it's better than our place in the village by at least 89%.
I sigh in relief and sit beside Nanare on the bed. Her hair is scattered all over the bed as she sleeps. I tie them into two pigtails and cover her with the duvet.
Soon, I turn to face her. She's still sleeping...
"God..."
"I wish it wasn't like this!!!"
"It's been 49 days now! I thought it would get better, but instead, it's gotten worse..."
"Granny will be worried sick about us in the village and might be going through emotional trauma!!"
"My wish now is that all this stops!! If it does, I'll be really happy!!!" I say aloud into Nanare's face. She rolls over and back-hugs me.
"Me too, I wish it will end!!" she replies...
Then, we drift off into a deep slumber.
---
(Next day)...
"Nare, you're on duty today!!" Elenore says, facing Nare.
"I know!!" Nare replies.
"What's my work today??" She asks.
"Your work today is just to follow Mhesha wherever she goes," Gangaa replies.
"Why??? Is Mhesha legless??" I blurt out.
"I pity you..."
"If Mhesha hears you, you're gonna be in trouble!" Gangaa smiles.
"Soul under my foot!!" I caution, facing my twin.
"Since I'm not on duty today and you're not feeling too well, can I help you??" I ask.
"Yes, but will Mhesha agree??" she asks.
"Yes, she will accept!" Gangaa winks. I feel relieved. At least, my twin won't get bullied again.
We rush our food in the kitchen before joining the idols in the cars.
"They're going to the gymnasium," Elenore says in my ear.
"Okay!" I reply, even though I don't know what they do there. I glance at Nare. She just keeps a straight face on the road.
We arrive at the Gymnasium...
We've barely entered when Mhesha starts showing her true colors.
"That's too bad of her!" Elenore says in my ear.
"I know!!" I reply and hold Nare's hand tightly.
"Nare, I need juice!!" Mhesha demands, making me let go of Nare's hand.
"Okay, Mhesha!!" Nare replies and starts wandering around the huge gymnasium.
Mhesha was really wicked. She knew there was no juice being sold in the gymnasium, yet she insisted on having some.
I watched as Nare walked down the white stairs, hoping to find what Mhesha wanted. I doubt she'll get it.
---
Nare
I don't think they sell juice here!!!
"This place doesn't look like it has juice. Or maybe I should go back and tell Mhesha that there's no juice?"
"Oh no... She'll shout and Tasha will make me an object of ridicule," I reason, continuing my search for juice.
After walking for about 30 minutes without finding anything, I decide to go back and tell Mhesha there's no juice.
"What if she kills me??" my inner voice haunts me as I step on the first stair.
"Hey, I better not go!" I conclude, sitting on the last stair with my face buried in my hands.
"What if Mhesha starts looking for me?" I ask myself, standing up again.
I turn around with the intention of climbing the stairs to see Mhesha, but instead, Richie stands behind me with his arms crossed.
"Sir Rich!!" I say in shock and fear.
I smile, but his dimples reveal something else.
"Why is he smiling?"
"Did he win a lottery??" I ask myself.
"Thinking about something?" he speaks slowly, probably because he thinks I'm uneducated.
"No, it's nothing!!!" I shake my head and take a step back.
"What's that mark on your nose?" he asks. I freeze.
"No, it's nothing. That's how I was born!" I lie. He smiles again.
"Why are you sitting here alone? Are you sold into slavery? A maid or what?" he asks.
I drop my head, not knowing what to say.
"Do you have a name? Parents? A house? Why are you uneducated?" Richie continues.
"I don't know!" I reply. He smiles...
I'm starting to feel uncomfortable, and all I want to do is run away before he drags me into more trouble.
"Sir, I don't know!!!" I reply, then run past him to find Mhesha in the gymnasium.
It turns out that Mhesha isn't even there.
I glance around and ask one of the security guards.
"Sorry, did you see Mhesha, the idol with yellow hair??" I ask.
"Yes, she left with the other idols and maids 10 minutes ago!" the security guard replies.
I start to panic...
"Another trouble loading for me!!!" I run my hands through my hair.
"Sir, are you sure??" I ask the security guard.
"Yes, but you can still check!" he replies.
"Okay," I say and start checking every section, but I don't see anyone.
I reach the last section, enter, and slam the door, unaware that it already had an automatic lock.
I don't even notice that Richie is in that section.
I slam the door, and he quickly walks over to it.
"Why did you slam it like that? Don't you know it's on automatic lock? It can't be opened unless someone unlocks it from the outside!" Richie says rapidly, and I can't even keep up with him.
"Okay!" I reply, struggling with the knob.
"Okay for what??" He responds, harshly. Maybe I'm seeing his bad side now.
"I don't even know what to do," I mutter.
The door is still locked. Hours pass, and no one comes to open it.
"What a tragedy..."
I turn around and realize Richie isn't beside me anymore. He's standing behind me.
"I better not ask him anything, or he'll reply harshly," I think to myself.
"I made the door lock, so I don't think I need to talk anymore."
"So, what's your name?" he taps my shoulder.
I freeze.
"No name!!" I reply.
He stares awkwardly at me, especially my red lips.
"Since you don't want to talk, I know what to do," he says, taking out his phone.
"I'll talk!" I quickly stop him from doing whatever
