Both Mitsuki and Shikadai were amazed after hearing the story of Boruto and his secret love that had already ceased to be. In truth, they never imagined that their friend had fallen for the love magic that Sasuke's body gave off. At least that's what they called it since they saw the reactions of both the girls and some men of different ages.
But Boruto did not like this at all since he felt that expression as if he were one of the crowd and he knew perfectly well that this was not true.
"If you love him and he loves you back, we will support you Boruto." Shikadai said.
"Exactly, we are your friends and we just want you to be happy." Mitsuki finished with a smile.
"Thank you friends. Boruto answered relieved since at least they supported and understood him.
But at that moment Sarada arrived very confused. They were in a confectionery in Konoha the three of them drinking a few beers while they relaxed after having successfully completed another mission. The table was outside under the cooling shade of a tree.
Sarada stood right in front of Boruto and hitting the table with both hands exclaimed loudly:
"How come you're dating my father Boruto. Just kidding, right? The three of them were startled due to the surprise but Boruto looked at her with intimidating coldness although this time she did not flinch.
Boruto continued to dislike her since she was never understanding, much less friendly with his person. Every time he needed her she just turned her back on him. But that sudden outburst on her part towards him and his private life was something she couldn't just ignore.
"It's none of your business." He said with a voice of ice. So get out of my sight. The wind blew with greater force dragging the leaves and the earth along with their words.
Sarada glared at him feeling that the desire to hit the Uzumaki surfaced with greater intensity in her.
"It's about my father and that makes it my business.
"Really? How interesting." He said wryly. As far as I remember you never cared about your father, you never cared about him. Why this sudden need to intrude on his private life?
"Boruto... you could be his son." She exclaimed. This strained his patience since it was like listening to his own father who hadn't cared about him either and now after finding out about his relationship with Sasuke, her unexpected concern arose. That hypocrisy of both really had him fed up.
That's why, standing up, he roared: "Get into your damn decadent life and leave the hypocrisy aside.
"What's wrong with you guys? You're like my father damn it. In life they didn't care about Sasuke or me but now that we're together yes, they suddenly become interested in us.
"Boruto." She whispered, amazed at the rejection he had towards her person and the seventh.
"Leave us alone. Without another word he walked away from the place, he needed to breathe because he was beginning to feel like he was suffocating. He hated that she interfered in her life, he hated that others think about what he felt.
"Was it so bad to love and want to be happy? I take out a cigarette and light it as he wanders aimlessly through the village. His long golden hair was tied in a ponytail with two loose strands framing his face. This gave him a more angelic appearance.
It got to a point where he sat down on one of the seats in the place since he was short of breath. He rest his right arm on his knee in whose hand he held the cigarette. But he was holding his head with his other hand as he rested his elbow on his other knee.
He had to relax damn it. Her cell phone that was in the pocket of his red jacket hadn't stopped vibrating but he didn't feel like even taking it out. "Why did she have to show up when he was finally having a good time with her friends? On top of that with such arrogance as if she owed him some kind of explanation about her actions.
" What the hell was wrong with Sarada? "I just hope you don't cross my path again, damn you." He muttered to himself.
"And what do you plan to do if she keeps appearing in your path? Sasuke's voice startled him. Boruto looked at him and sighed in annoyance. He took the cigarette back to his mouth and filled his lungs with smoke for a few moments and then exhaled it through his mouth .
Sasuke sat down next to her without taking his eyes off her.
"Not now Sasuke...I'm not in the mood...
"Shikadai called me telling me what happened to my daughter... Damn busybody... the blond muttered angrily.
Sasuke smiled as he hugged him gently. Boruto rested his head on his beloved's shoulder, wrapping his left arm around Sasuke's waist. He slowly calmed down.
"Your friends care about you." Sasuke said
"Your daughter is not my friend.
"I was talking about Shikadai and Mitsuki. As for Sarada... I'm sorry she gave you a hard time...
"Yes...me too...Boruto pressed his beloved's body to his while looking into his eyes.
I'm sorry my love but...I don't like her...not at all... I know, you don't have to apologize.
Quit the cigarette, it's not good to smoke Boruto.
"As you say my love. Boruto obeyed Sasuke by throwing the cigarette on the ground and stepping on it to put it out.
"Come... let's go home.
They got up and Sasuke took him by the hand to get lost in the crowd in that sunset. Sarada watched them furiously in the distance, she did not approve of that relationship.
She did not agree at all since Boruto could be Sasuke's son due to the great age difference. Plus there was the fact that the blond was underage. She really was disappointed in her father as she didn't understand how he could have sunk so low.
Among so many people who used to look for him and wish for him, he could have chosen someone the same age as him and leave Boruto alone, who was still a child for him.
She didn't understand how the Seventh approved of that relationship either. She frowns in thought.
"Boruto you are very wrong if you think that my father will be faithful to you and will be by your side forever. He only knows how to hurt people and abandon those who truly love him."
She thought about that while she watched the sunset fall over Konoha. She did not understand how some people could make such ugly mistakes in life.
But it was true what they used to say out there, there were situations that you had to experience for yourself and crash into the harsh reality so that you only learn to avoid them in the future.
The same would happen with Boruto. He would only discover that trusting and giving himself to someone like Sasuke was the worst of mistakes. She, as his only daughter, knew perfectly well. When it was dark Sarada started the way back to her house.
