Chapter 73 - The Travel Invitation

*"You're so lovey-dovey, huh~?"*

Today, Lydia came to my cell alone. She delivered a message from Titania and ended with that pink-tinted remark.

*"Yeah, she and I are lovey-dovey."*

I didn't deny it. I boasted openly. Lydia laughed heartily.

The message from Titania was, *"I'm doing well, can't wait to see you again."* It made me genuinely happy. I asked Lydia to reply, *"Though one cocoon may scatter, the butterfly soars somewhere. I'll entrust my love to you in a single bite and come to see you."* It sounded so old-fashioned that Lydia was quite impressed.

*"That woman has such graceful manners, like a proper lady."*

Yeah, that's right. Lydia gets it.

I can't help but imagine she was originally some princess. Because the thought of a captive princess greedily sucking my filthy cock and begging for my cum is enough to raise my heart rate just thinking about it.

*"Oh, by the way, when I was talking to your girlfriend today, Turyal approached me from behind."*

*"Turyal? Who's that?"*

*"Tiliel's older brother."*

So that's the name of that elf guy, Turyal.

*"I didn't expect Turyal to be in the solitary confinement block, so I was surprised. I couldn't come up with a good excuse. I said something like I was investigating you because I'm Ferris's guard and worried about her, but later I thought it sounded really unnatural."*

*"Did Turyal say anything?"*

*"He said not to get too close to that butcher. Turyal's kind of scary, you know. Nothing happened, but there are rumors he's Orlando's right-hand man and does dangerous behind-the-scenes work."*

*"Orlando?"*

*"Yeah, the Orc general. Oh, right, you don't know about Jévouudan. Here in Famebaum, we're ruled by three generals. Orlando's the leader. Dantalion, the demon, oversees the military. And Phoenicia, Ferris's sister, mainly handles domestic affairs."*

… Suddenly so many names! I can't keep track!

The city's name is Famebaum. The Orc general is Orlando. The demon general is Dantalion. And the perverted fox woman is Phoenicia. Their nicknames are easier to remember…

*"I asked Phoenicia the other day, and apparently Jévouudan is favored by Dantalion and Phoenicia. Orlando's still cautious, but he recognizes your usefulness. That's amazing, Jévouudan."*

So, I'm actually close to the higher-ups?

It's like the satisfaction of realizing you've gained a loyal fanbase without even noticing while working hard. Nice.

*"Is Turyal mad at me for what I did to Tiliel?"*

*"Huh? What did you do to Tiliel?"*

I prefaced it with, *"This is a secret,"* and told her how I once humiliated Tiliel by covering her entire body in sperm.

*"—Whaaat⁉ That's why Tiliel turns pale every time she sees you…"*

Lydia nodded in understanding.

*"…It's possible. Turyal's apparently a siscon. Tiliel doesn't like being overprotected by her brother and feels constrained, so she wants to keep her distance. So, she might not have told Turyal directly, but he could've heard through Orlando."*

A siscon, huh…

I was imagining something grander, like the noble elven bloodline being defiled by the butcher. Totally different. The story's so small. And Tiliel avoids him because of that? Lame…

*"If Turyal harasses you because of me, come to me. Lydia, if you have any other troubles, leave them to me. If violence is okay, I'll solve it."*

I also showed Lydia my usefulness and reliability. She chuckled, *"Uh, yeah,"* and said, *"When Jévouudan says it, it doesn't sound like a joke."*

It's not a joke, but it didn't come across well.

*"So, Jévouudan, let's go on a trip together next time!"*

A sudden travel invitation.

Could it be a date with just Lydia and me? Is the day finally coming when the gal vs. butcher showdown takes place at a hot spring inn? My heart's racing.

*"It's just, it's so complicated to take Abigail out, you know? But remember, you said you took Abigail on an expedition before, right? That's what gave me the idea."*

Oh, that's what it is. Too bad.

*"Next time Ferris has to go to Miphysis, you'll accompany her as a guard. If I go as a friend, we can take Abigail too, right? …Oh, Miphysis is our planet, by the way."*

Another world… I wonder what it's like.

Maybe if we go out, Abigail will be in a better mood. She's been a bit cold lately, probably because she's stressed.

*"Sure."*

Since she's dealing with a butcher, she could just drag me out without asking. The fact that she's consulting me… I like it.

*"Yay! I'll tell Ferris then! By the way—"*

Lydia smiled and did a victory pose, then looked around my cell curiously.

*"No girls today?"*

I don't have rest days. Whenever I'm free, I have to act as a stud and impregnate the captive women. But today, the cell was quiet.

I don't know the specifics, but this happens sometimes. Maybe it's because of the women's conditions or the aliens' plans or something.

*"Just me today. It happens sometimes. It's quiet and feels weird."*

Standing naked alone is awkward, so today I wore a paper bag and an apron and was lost in thought in the corner of the room.

*"Hmm… Then, let's go on a date."*

Seriously?

*"Today, Ferris is busy preparing for the trip, and school's out, so I'm bored. Is there anywhere you want to go, Jévouudan? I'll take you."*

Really? Definitely your room.

*"—But no naughty stuff, okay? I don't want Ferris to hate me for doing something without her."*

Grrrr…

My throat growled unconsciously. Lydia saw it and chuckled.

Since there was nothing else to do, I went on a date with Lydia.

The destination was, surprisingly, a theater performance. Lydia seems to be well-versed in the arts. So unexpected. The gap is charming.

We took seats in the front row, so the butcher ended up sitting right in front of the stage.

At first, the performers were all surprised, but they quickly continued acting as if nothing had happened, which was funny. They're professionals too. I feel a sympathy.

By the way, I don't understand a single micron of the alien language, so it wasn't fun at all. According to Lydia, it was a story about a hero and a demon lord. The magic effects were flashy and sparkly, so it looked way more interesting visually than human plays, which was a shame.

Still, walking through the city with a gal made me feel exhilarated. Unlike being dragged around by Ferris, the conversation was actually flowing, which was nice.

*"This is the first time we've talked so much in one day. It's fun."*

The look on Lydia's face when she turned around after I casually said that, while holding my hand and walking, left a deep impression.

I was also very satisfied when she explained the layout of the city.

The miscellaneous goods stores and lingerie shops were really interesting, but I still like the weapon shops. I'm a former soldier, after all.

This way, when I attack this city, Famebaum, I won't have to worry about weapons.

As I drank tea with Lydia at an open café, I smirked inwardly—*The cheesecake is delicious!*
