Chapter 1 - Chapter 0: Prologue

On 1st December 1991, they said it came without warning.

A tear in the sky, silent at first, cracked open like shattered glass suspended above the world. From its glowing wound, darkness spilled. Not the kind that swallowed light, but the kind that crawled, twisted, and devoured.

Humanity's first contact with the unknown was not with gods or miracles... but with ■■■■■ and millions of monsters.

They came in endless forms, fangs, wings, claws, shapes no mind could ever comprehend. Entire cities fell in hours. Nations collapsed under the weight of chaos. Humanity was not ready. How could it be?

But somehow, they survived.

On 2nd February 1992, Monster Investigation Bureau was born, an international response forged in desperation. Their purpose: contain the threat, hunt the hidden, and bury the truth beneath cold reports and quiet victories. Decades passed, and the world moved on.

Buildings were rebuilt. Streets were cleaned. People pretended.

But the monsters never left.

They watched. They waited. They whispered in dreams, in static, in the shadows that stretched just a little too far. Some believed they were all gone. Others knew better.

And far above, in the night sky that once burned with fire and fear, something still remain.

A voice.

Soft.

Distant.

Calling out to someone.

And this time, someone might answer.
