"Terry?" Robin chuckled, recognizing the chaotic figure who just walked in.
Terry was chaotic in character as well as in his outfit, sporting a red suit and a black shirt, he looked like he was going for a circus.
"Surprised to see me?" Terry grinned, his eyes shining with mischief. "I have heard a lot about you, Robin. Isn't it a privilege you got to see me today?"
Of course, Terry was a well-known figure from a prominent family. He was a typical third-generation rich heir. However, before Robin, he was nothing to write home about.
He looked classless and not only that, news of his escapades was all over town.
"Is this who you want to leave me for, Carla?" Robin chuckled, already figuring out the situation. Suddenly, the divorce didn't hurt anymore, as it had turned into an amusement for Robin.
"What about him?" Carla stood up, sporting a proud look.
"He is a womanizer, Carla. He is a scum who treats women worthlessly." Robin didn't even care that Terry was standing right there. "You are a proud woman, why do you want to bring down yourself?"
"It's none of your fucking business, Robin." Carla didn't like those words even though it was true. But she was sure Terry loved and wanted her.
"At least, Terry is much more useful than you are. He is capable and I am happy." She laughed, walking away from her desk and going to kiss Terry on the lips.
Terry made sure to hold Carla tight, sneering at Robin with anger brewing in his eyes.
"I see you still don't know your place, Robin." Terry barked, suddenly pushing Carla to the side. He then moved closer, staring into Robin's eyes and breathing on his face.
"How dare you call me scum? Me?" Terry chuckled. "You are the scum here. Poor men are always the scum."
"Really? Then you are poor…" Robin grinned and took a step back, looking at him head to toe before he continued, "…and classless."
"What?" Terry gasped, his gaze turning murderous. The insult penetrated his bones because he always liked to portray himself as a rich and elegant figure.
"Apologize. Right now!" He spat in Robin's face. "If you don't kneel down and fucking apologize, I will make sure you spend the rest of your life in prison!"
Terry was barking all over the place and Robin looked at Carla who stared back at him with a daring gaze.
"Get your dog off my face, Carla. You should tame him." Robin said calmly, ignoring Terry. He had no business with the flashy dog and so he turned to the table, to sign the divorce papers.
However, Terry was literally emitting steam from his nose and ears. No one had ever spoken to him this way! He was being ignored. Everyone always worshipped him and now, Robin a common man didn't even acknowledge his status.
"You bastard!" Terry yelled, grabbing Robin by the shoulder. He fisted his hand, throwing a punch at Robin.
But Robin was quick to dodge to the side, his movements fast and swift.
They all watched Terry flap his hand in the air, losing his balance. He couldn't even land a hit on Robin and Robin wasn't about to let him go.
"You made the move first." Robin sneered, storming toward Terry, his fist flew in the air, carrying a powerful force.
And the moment his fist collided with Terry's face, the air stood still, and Terry glided on it with ease.
Bang!
He crashed on the table, breaking it in half.
"Terry…" Carla opened her eyes wide in shock, rushing toward him in fear. Terry was out cold, in the middle of the mess.
"What have you done to him, you animal!?" Carla screamed. "Mom, call the police and get him arrested."
"Right on it!" Madam Kia rushed to do what she said. But Robin wasn't fazed by that, as he took the divorce papers and signed them. Swiftly, he threw it over the couple, turning his back on them.
However, before he could get to the door, Madam Kia caught him from behind.
"Where do you think you are going? You criminal! You wanted to kill him, didn't you?" She screamed.
Robin sighed, tired of all the drama and he wondered how he was able to endure the drama for years. He turned around, took her hand, and flung her away from him.
"Know your place, woman!" Robin thundered. "I am no longer your son-in-law. You don't go around touching strangers, do you?" He glared at her, his look making her freeze in fear.
Not only did his words shock her, but she had never seen Robin look so dangerous!
"You…" She stuttered. "What are you–"
But the door opened in that moment and two police officers filed into the office.
"Good! You are here!" Madam Kia exclaimed, momentarily forgetting the danger looming. "Arrest him! He tried to kill that man over there…"
"A murder case?" The police officers gasped, not bothering to question anyone. They rushed at Robin, trying to cuff him immediately.
"Do you have evidence of what you are saying?" Robin asked.
"Of course not." Madam Kia chuckled. "But we rule the city right here. I can get these officers to get rid of you or lock you up forever. Do you get that?"
At those words, Robin chuckled, realizing the officers had been bribed. He watched them try to override him and hand-cuff him, however, he got away from them and went straight to Carla.
"Take this." He took out a ring from his pocket and flung it at her. "I have repaid you for everything I owe."
"What are you saying–"
Before she could even finish speaking, he turned around and stretched his hand toward the police.
"It's your choice now to arrest me or let me go," Robin said as if he was the one in charge but his next words sent warning signals.
"However, you will regret it if you don't let me go."
