Synopsis
In a world fractured by ancient wars and shattered skybound cities, Orin—an ordinary young man from the quiet village of Ervenholt—discovers he is the last of a long-lost line of Skyborn, a group of powerful beings tied to the anchors that once held the heavens in place. When a mysterious force known as the Hollow Star begins to stir, threatening to unmake reality itself, Orin’s life is thrown into chaos. Along with the enigmatic scholar Kaelen and the fierce warrior Mira, he embarks on a journey to uncover forgotten truths, face ancient enemies, and repair the broken anchors that could hold the sky together—or tear it apart forever. Their journey takes them through forgotten realms, across the deadly Black Waste, and into the heart of the floating city of Nahl’Karai, a place where the laws of time and memory have unraveled. Along the way, Orin must confront his own past, which is intertwined with the very destruction they’re trying to prevent. But the Hollow Star is not the only power they must contend with. The Order of the Veil, a mysterious faction seeking to control the fate of the world, is hunting them, intent on using Orin’s power to shape the future for their own purposes. In a race against time, Orin must choose whether to restore the anchors and face the Hollow Star—or destroy it once and for all, risking the unraveling of everything. As secrets from the past resurface, Orin’s true name, his true purpose, and the fate of the forgotten sky will be revealed.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Boy Who Drew Stars

In the crumbling village of Ervenholt, tucked between a dead forest and a glassy, cursed lake, a boy named Orin drew stars on the walls of his house.

He had never seen the real ones.

"Orin," called his sister, Mira, "you're wasting chalk again!"

He ignored her, etching another pattern onto the stone. His drawings weren't random—they came to him in dreams. Spirals. Glyphs. Maps of the sky as it might have once been.

That night, a stranger arrived in Ervenholt.

He wore robes marked with old symbols, his eyes flickering with blue light. The villagers feared outsiders, especially ones like him.

But he came for Orin.

"You've seen it," he said to the boy. "The sky before it shattered. The real sky."

Orin stared back, heart pounding. He didn't know how he knew the man was right—only that he was.

And so began Orin's journey—one that would lead him to gods buried beneath the sea, forgotten machines inside the mountains, and a war to restore the sky.
