"He he he..." I looked at Rowen who was laughing like a maniac with a loose screw in his head. I wouldn't have cared but he was laughing at me.
"Hey stop laughing. It's not that funny." I smacked his head as we walked toward the training ground. The next class was the swordsmen, magicians combined class. Of course I didn't know what it was . That was what Rowen said.
"Why are you hitting me? You're the one who slept in the class room. Do you know how much effort I wasted to save you. I even kicked your chair." Roven the chatterbox started to yell at me. But I decided to ignore him.
"Adrian don't be mad buddy. I'll help you to finish your punishment. Ok?" Roven stated while coming behind me.
"I wasn't sleeping." First I got up in a different world, then got punished to copy whole first chapter of 'elemental magic volume 1' some kind of text book I suppose.
'Today must be the worst day of my life'
I signed while looking at the still bickering Rowen.
'Looks like I'm stuck with this noisy guy.'Eventhough he talked too much, he looked like a good guy.
When we reach the training ground almost all the students from both magic department and swordsman department were gathered.the instructor of that class was a middle aged man.
"Hi everyone, I'm Orin,the instructor of swordsman,magician combined class.nice to meet you all" he introduced himself while gathering everyone around him.
"Today is your first day in this class. So let's have a match between first 10
ranked students." Instructor Orin took out a list and first called 9 and 10 rank students.
"Let's have a fight guys." The two students got into the fighting ring while others seated much far away.
"Start."the two students started fighting as soon as the instructor Orin ordered.It was really a mesmerising fight for someone like me who came from 21st century. I felt like watching a action movie with 5D function plus extra magic effect.
Soon three fights ended without even me realising. Next fight was between a pretty girl with a pink hair and yellow eyes and a boy with a silver hair and purple eyes. They both had an unique aura around them. The girl seemed to be a magician.
"Oh this is going to be fun."
"I know right. Riana Thornvail is a genius when it comes to elemental magic."
"Jake Silain is from the duke Silain family. He didn't get the rank 3 for nothing."
"Woooow"
I could hear many students were talking excitedly about the oncoming fight.
'They must be very talented. But why their names are familiar to me?'
Before I could think further ,the fight started. Riana formed water droplets that shaped spears. Then they suddenly solidified and flew towards Jake. Jake was standing still during the whole time. He just waved his sward to cut down all spears at once. Riana seemed to provoked by that. She formed volleyball sized fire balls to attack Jake. But Jake dodged them and appeared behind Riana delivering a suprize attack. They fought in high speed which made my head hurt just by watching. Soon their fight ended making Jake the winner. Jake smiles smugly at Riana before exiting while Riana was red with anger.
'Looks like they have a grudge against each other.' As I was lost in thought, the students around me started to get more excited especially girls. As for why, I got the answer as soon as I looked at the fighting ring. A girl and a boy was standing there, ready to start their match any moment. Probably rank 1 and 2. The One who cought my attention was the boy with blonde hair and golden eyes.
"Keal Caelum" I voiced his name without even knowing.
"Yeah , Keal is the 1st rank student this year. So powerful." Raven started to mumbled beside me. But I wasn't listening to him. My whole mind was in chaos.
'What is he doing here. Isn't he the main character of 'Rise of the heroes 'novel series. What's going on??'
