Aion walked through the hallways as he reached his class, Class 2-B, as he opened the door and entered the class.....and directly spotted the difference here.
The students were all talking and laughing but they were specifically isolating a certain area or a certain someone to put it.
Aion glanced to the corner to see a beautiful girl with long dark purple hair and indigo eyes who was wearing the standard Chiba Academy girls uniform.
[Raiden Mei! It's her! Look at it host! She's isolated and alone.....why don't you take advantage of this?]
'Shut up.' He said to the System as he went to his seat, which was actually the one a few seats away from Mei.
See, they know they can't directly take action on Mei but bias is a thing, especially when your father is branded a "criminal", which leads to her current situation where they mock her behind her back and isolate her.
He just ignored her as he sat in his seat and waited for class to start...Hm? Why didn't he take action? Hello? Why should he? They won't bully her physically like Yuna from what he remembers so he may give her advice later but he won't interfere...but if they do try get physical? That'll mean they'd get beaten up.
The thing is, Raiden Mei is a swordsman, her Kenjutsu, a Raiden Family technique passed down to her from her father to her basically guaranteed that she has enough power for self-defense.....but her personality is the issue, she's too kind and soft.
Just like that, class began as the teacher, a middle aged woman entered and began homeroom.

{A Few Hours Later}
The bell rang signalling that it was now lunch time as Aion casually took out his Bento(Hm? Why he has this? Of course it's because of the Cooking Skill) and casually strolled out of the class to go to the rooftop to eat lunch.
He casually went onto the rooftop and was speechless when he was face to face with a certain Cooking Herrscher.....
[Host! This is Destiny!]
'Shush!' he said mentally as he ignored the system, "Uh.... Hello.." He greeted Mei awkwardly because he really didn't know what else he should say.
"...Hello." She also greeted back politely but had a hint..okay, a lot of surprise, after all, she never expected someone to talk to her on their own initiative, most would just ignore her or try to take advantage of her so she'd learnt to distinguish....as for him, she could only see awkwardness and surprise at seeing her here, nothing else.
"Uh..I don't know if you know me but we're in the same class..The name's Aion, Aion Vale ..." He introduced himself, "...Mei, Mei Raiden. I know you Vale...Most would...My friend-...the other girls in class used to talk about you before my...." She said and paused.
"Ah... I'm sorry?" He apologized, he was basically not that good at socialising, what the hell was he supposed to say?!
[To not worry and that you're here for her...them slowly make her heart yours and then in a rainy day, invite her to your house and after dinner take her to bed and then e***-]
'NOPE! DON'T CONTINUE!' He yelled internally at the damn system that began spouting stuff that was definitely not suitable for all ages.... he's so glad that he can shut the System up, something he'd learnt the past two days.
"....So...you ate lunch yet?" He asked as she seemed to freeze a bit then her ears turned slightly red as she looked away even as her face remained calm....and her stomach growled. Apparently she hadn't.
"....Wanna eat Lunch together?" He asked as he lifted his bento and she seemed embarassed.
"No...Thank you but I'm not hungry." She said as her stomach growled again... louder.
Ten minutes later, after his repeated insistence, they were sitting on the rooftop bench while he shared his Bento with her, it was a classic Japanese style bento with Fried Chicken, Omelette, Rice, Vegetables, etc.
"So...could you tell me why you didn't bring lunch?" He asked her while looking at her who was eating with relish like she hadn't eaten anything in days(She had, he just doesn't understand how OP even beginner level Skills are).
She paused while eating, as if considering whether she should say it then looked at the Bento she had already ate, "...I forgot." She swallowed the food still in her mouth and said the truth while being a bit embarrassed at her forgetfulness but kept her face calm.
'Eh? Eh?! That's it?! I thought it was something like she didn't have enough money or the food got taken away....' He had an overactive imagination, he had made up multiple dramas on the spot and you tell him she just forgot. Do you really think Anti-Entropy would let Ryoma Raiden's daughter starve? Never. Although she now lives in a normal apartment like the others, she still get's the necessary funds to live a leisurely life.
"...If you like it that much, want me to cook for you everyday?" He asked subconsciously as she suddenly froze then blushed heavily
[Wow Host! You're awesome! To make such a proposal like cooking for her daily.....I salute you!]
"Wait-" He said after realising what he said "-I didn't mean it like that." He said hurriedly "I meant what if I cooked for you..." He said then stopped because that was indeed what he meant...but, he didn't mean it romantically!
She smiled at his actions, although it was small, but it was gone the next second itself. "I understand Vale.... I'm thankful for your generosity." She said smiling, although it was small and hesitant."I... don't cook well. But I'll try to repay you somehow."
"....Sure." Aion also smiled, "Let's finish eating first." He then said as he began to eat his part and she also continued to eat.

"You're a really great cook you know?" Mei said as they were returning to class together "Hm? I am?" He said confused as she nodded, although she seemed confused why he was so doubtful about that.
[Of course you are Host! White skills are basically normal human peak! Well, you can't understand the difference because the skill made it taste normal for you....try eating other food and you'll understand! ( ╹▽╹ )]
When he heard the system's explanation.... what he felt wasn't confusion but fear.... because he didn't realise that his tastes had changed along with his mentality.
His face remained smiling as he tried to make small talk with Mei as they returned to class but internally, he was more cautious now....if it keeps changing him, was he truly him? He didn't know but....he didn't have a choice because Survival is the most important.

Welp, his fear went away....this damn system is gonna be the death of him.
