Elizabeth was already in front of the TV, browsing through the movie selection. Before joining her, Viola and Ezekiel decided to make some popcorn first.
The two quickly prepared a large batch and brought it to the living room before settling onto the couch.
"Here, Ely."
Viola handed Elizabeth a bucket of popcorn.
"Thanks."
"So, have you already decided what movie to watch?" Viola asked.
"I've narrowed it down to two."
Elizabeth pointed at the screen.
"I'm thinking of watching this one."
A horror movie appeared.
"Or maybe this one."
She clicked on another option.
This time, it was an R-19 romance movie.
Viola nearly choked on nothing.
"I-I think the first one is better."
She quickly tried to come up with a reason.
Elizabeth gave her a suspicious side-eye.
"What's wrong with this one?"
"Hahaha... nothing."
Viola laughed awkwardly and subtly tugged on Ezekiel's sleeve, silently begging for help.
Ezekiel understood immediately.
