Chapter 122 - Chapter 122 — Drip, Speed, and Ink

Location: Avalon City – Late Morning, Saturday

The Vale penthouse smelled like espresso and designer cologne.

Caelan had just stepped out of the shower, towel over his shoulders, when Azra leaned on the doorframe with a crooked grin.

"Get dressed. We're going shopping."

Caelan raised an eyebrow.

"Didn't you just get a whole wardrobe delivered?"

Azra shrugged.

"Yeah. And now we're bored."

Liora peeked from behind Azra with oversized shades and a matcha smoothie.

"I want something shiny. And maybe something loud."

Scene: The Drive Downtown

Caelan drove.

Azra sat shotgun, sunglasses on, feet on the dash like she owned the vehicle.

Liora sprawled across the backseat, flipping through a custom jewelry catalog like it was a menu.

Liora: "I want a car that sounds like a dragon."

Azra: "I want one that looks like sin."

Caelan: "I just want one that lets me get away from both of you."

They all laughed.

A real laugh. Siblings, not heirs. No guards. No thrones. Just three teenagers rolling into the city with unlimited credit and no one to answer to.

Stop #1: Diamond District – Custom Jewelers

Inside a black-glass showroom, the air buzzed with chilled music and real wealth.

Liora went for white gold earrings with diamond teardrops, holding them up to her ears, twirling in the mirror.

Azra picked out a blood-red ruby chain, matching her eyeshadow.

"This one's going to scare boys. I want it."

Caelan, arms folded, watched the girls try everything on.

"Y'all gonna wear this to class?"

Azra: "Yep."

Liora: "Only if we don't want to blend in."

They got it all.

No limits.

The sales rep didn't even ask questions—just swiped the card and smiled.

Stop #2: Auto Vault – Supercar Showroom

The place was a temple of speed. Matte finishes, mirror-polished engines, showroom lights glowing like halos.

"Pick one," Caelan said.

"Or two."

Azra's choice: A jet-black Ferrari SF90 Stradale with red-tinted windows.

Liora's choice: A rose-gold Aston Martin DB11, cream leather interior, soft-purr engine.

They both looked at Caelan expectantly.

He smirked.

"Fine. I'm getting something too."

Caelan's choice: Midnight-gray McLaren 765LT.

Sleek. Vicious. Silent unless provoked—like him.

Stop #3: Luxury Apparel – Drip Run

They walked into the boutique like it was theirs.

Liora picked silks, flowing skirts, and hand-stitched tops.

Azra went for streetwear-meets-lethal: custom leather, cropped jackets, and boots laced to the knee.

Caelan? He kept it quiet—black tees, minimalist watches, a single platinum chain.

But when he walked out of the changing room, Azra grinned.

"You look like trouble."

Liora: "No. He looks like a problem."

He just adjusted his collar and said nothing.

Stop #4: Ink & Steel – Tattoo Studio

They were walking past when Azra stopped cold.

"Let's get tattoos."

Liora laughed.

"What? You afraid of commitment now?"

Caelan stared at the sign for a second.

"Let's do it."

Inside, the studio smelled like metal, ink, and heat.

They all got something small.

Azra: A flame design hidden on her ribcage.

Liora: A glowing crescent moon behind her ear.

Caelan: A sword down his spine—barely visible, but you could feel it.

The tattoo artist didn't ask questions.

He just worked—silently. Like he knew he was marking royalty.

Final Scene: Rooftop Garage – Sunset

Three new supercars gleamed in the light.

The siblings leaned against the rail, drinks in hand, watching the city burn gold as the sun dropped behind the skyline.

Azra: "We're ridiculous."

Caelan: "We're efficient."

Liora: "We're perfect."

They tapped their glasses.

No one saw.

No one knew.

But a dynasty just marked its arrival—with ink, engines, and diamonds.
