Generating your rewards-

Your rewards are as follows,

Skill: Appraisal [A]

Skill: Fault Perception [A]

-----------------------------------------

' Lol, I levelled up not once but twice, I'm Level 10 now, cool, and 2 more free stat points, yay! And the skills look good, I know the appraisal one, it's the basic skill in many games allowing to appraise a treasure chest or which scroll can get which skills'

' But hmm, Fault Perception ? not sure about that, maybe identifying some kind of fault in something ? Haaa, I can just check the skill descriptions' while wondering about the fault perception skill, I clicked on the skills, a window popped up with a detailed description.

First was the skill Appraisal.

[ Appraisal [A].

• It helps you check the status of anyone with or without a Falna. Can also check the stats of a monster.

• How much of their status you get to see, is based on your strength.

• Can also be used on objects, to know their use and worth / value.

• Skill can be activated by the word 'appraise'.

• No cost required to use the skill. ]

Next was the skill Fault Perception.

[ Fault Perception [A].

• Allows you see the weak points of any living or non living objects.

• Cost 10 MP per use. ]

...

"They both are good skills, the appraisal skill helps me in identifying the stats of a monster and see if I can fight it. And can also help me see which adventurer is stronger and who has good skills so that I can use the Mimicry skill on them."

"I'm still not sure about the Fault Perception Skill even after seeing its description, I need to test it. but it definitely will be a good one."

I was still sitting on the floor surrounded by blood and the bodies of the Killer Ants, but I felt like if I could get skills like these, I could even fight two or more such groups of Killer Ants.

The dungeon must be feeling lenient as it did not spawn any monsters allowing me to rest.

Chuckling to myself I got up and gathered all the magic stones scattered about.

Gathering so many magic stones, moreover from the corpses of the Killer Ants was annoying, but my newly gotten Appraisal was plenty helpful in this case.

-------------------------------------------------

Killer Ant [Dead]

• There is still a magic stone in the dead body.

• The magic stone is in the right half of the body, just below the abdomen.

---------------------------------------------------

I just had to speak the word appraise in my mind and it would work, like just looking at a dead Killer Ant and speaking out appraise in my mind did the job.

A virtual screen would pop up in front of me, telling me the location of the Magic Stone, stopping me the hassle of poking the dead body using my sword.

"Hah, out of the 200 odd swarm, I killed around 175- 180 of them, and out of that nearly 30 Killer Ants have their magic stones broken, so I have around 150 something magic stones. It's really good, but I still can't exchange this for Valis."

I grumbled, not being able to exchange the magic stones to Valis was a huge problem and sucked, and almost made me think if I should search for anyone other than the guild interested in magic stones and would buy it off from me in bulk.

Finally, after gathering all the magic stones and seeing all the bodies disintegrate to ash, I gave a last look around the room to see if I had missed any magic stones in any of the corners.

After making sure I had taken every last magic stone, instead of leaving, I sat down on the floor once again, this time to take a break.

I wanted to rest for a few minutes after the brutal fight earlier.

...

After a break of about 30 minutes, I left the room, heading into the corridor.

The dungeon had spawned monsters during my break, but too lazy to deal with them, I shot out compressed air slashes before they could even completely spawn, destroying the dungeon wall along with the spawning monsters.

Reaching the next room, there were a group of three kobolds armed with small but sharp daggers already in there.

*Gurrrrr* *Grrrrrr*

As soon as I stepped into the room, the kobolds looked at me, growling and rushing towards me waving their daggers in the air.

Wanting to see the effects of my Fault Perception Skill, I thought of activating it, and a moment later I noticed a red light blinking on the first kobolds stomach which was not there earlier.

*TINGGG* *thud*

Blocking the dagger of the kobold, I aimed my sword towards the red light, stabbing it, and felt a hard impact when stabbed, the magic stone.

The kobold disintegrated to ash the next second, I had accurately destroyed it's magic stone on the first try.

This meant that the red light earlier on the kobold's stomach was the location of its magic stone, the monster's weak point. If I destroy the magic stone, the kobold would be dead.

Wanting to test my thoughts, I activated the Fault Perception Skill two more times and successfully turned the other kobold's into ash, my sword accurately hitting their magic stones.

' So, the Fault Perception Skill worked similar to what I think, the only downside of this skill being that I will damage the magic stone too, but looking at all the three kobold's dropping materials, maybe it is useful in some cases' I mused.

" After all, if this skill guarantees a 100% item drop rate, I can easily complete requests for unique drop item and earn money. But for that, I will first have to farm more monsters and level up."

Picking up the three kobold nails, I thought of using the Appraisal Skill to check it out.

-------------------------------------------------

Kobold Nail [Kobold ] [ Mutated ]

• A material for alchemy and potions.

• A mutated Kobold Nail, highly effective for certain potions and increasing the potions success rate.

• Value: 15000 Valis

---------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------

Kobold Nail [Kobold ] * 2

• A material for alchemy and potions.

• Value: 8000 Valis

---------------------------------------------------

Of the three Kobold Nails, one was mutated drop item, while the other two were normal.

'Damn, just three of these total up to 31,000 Vails, but I can't sell them.'

Once again thinking if I should really find some other buyer, I stored them in my inventory and turned around walking back the way I had come.

...

As I had levelled up to Level 10 and also having gone down to Floor 7, I had completed my goals for this expedition and was going back up to the surface.

The unique quest of soloing an Infant Dragon had to wait for my next trip.

...

The way back to the entrance of the dungeon did not take long, approximately 45- 50 minutes, as I could take the help of my map here.

I tried to slip past as many monsters as possible on the way back without fighting and only taking out the ones using compressed air slashes for monsters which I could not avoid.

------------------------

Breathing in the cold night air after walking up the stairs of the dungeon, I felt refreshed.

Even after spending an entire day in the dungeon, I was feeling energetic and not the least bit exhausted.

Seeing me walk with light steps, the adventurers gave me strange looks. But I did not take notice of it, walking past them.

I heard a muted ding in my ear, reminding me of my Trait Maker Skill. But ignoring it, I took the western main street along which the Hostess of Fertility was located.

The magic lights lining the main streets of Orario were still not ready, only the lights from the buildings along the roadside providing light.

But there was no gloom like my return the other day as the adventurers were returning from their trips and walking into the restaurants and bars lining the main road.

There were shouting at each other and I could even see two drunk adventurers duking it out against each other, a couple more of them shouting or cheering them from the sides.

...

" Hit him in the jaw, in the jaw"

" No, hit him between his legs and not on his thighs"

" Bastard the jaw, the jaw, did you even hear what I said ?"

I too joined the adventurers in egging the fighters, the people cheering froze for a minute hearing my second comment, and then took a step but form me. But once again started shouting at the adventurers still fighting.

Watching for a few minutes and seeing the two of them still fighting, now just throwing drunken punches at each other, I excused myself.

As I open the door of the Hostess of Fertility, I was greeted by a silver haired girl, Syr Flova.

" Hello, Light, how are you ? I head from Anya that you're an adventurer now ? Which Familia did you join ?"

She fired off a bunch of questions at me and without waiting for my answers gestured me to follow her and led to a counter seat this time.

The counter seats were empty, I just sat on a random one and answered her earlier questions.

" Syr I'm good. You? Yes, I'm proud to say that I'm an adventurer now, but still no luck with any Familia. I've asked at the guild, they said they'd let me know if they found one !"

"I'm good, and congrats on becoming an adventurer. So then I see you a lot here from now on ?"came the cheeky reply from the silver haired girl with a beaming smile on her face.

" Why ? So that I can spend all the money I earned at the dungeon in here ? No thanks! Anyway bring me todays special, and a glass of ale.." I retorted back, and gave my order not allowing her to come up with new ideas to make me spend money.

" Yes, yes, coming right up!"

While waiting for my order, I looked around, majority of the customers now were adventurers, speaking or making jokes about themselves.

I did not find Mama Mia who was always beyond the counter, maybe she's in the kitchen ?

I did find Anya, who was taking orders from a table near to the entrance.

Suddenly a idea struck me and looking at two random adventurers sitting on a table near the counter, spoke appraise in my mind.

Their status immediately came up.

'Wow, it really does show me the status of those adventurers. Now how about- '

I turned to Anya who had finished taking orders and was heading towards the kitchen.

"Nyaaa..."

As soon as I used my Appraisal skill on her, she shouted out and her tail stood up straight, making a few customers looking at her in surprise. But ignoring them, she started looking around as if trying to find someone.

I silently looked away from her and looked at the screen in front of me.

----------------------------------

Anya Fromel

LV 4

----------------------------------

I was only able to view her name and her level.

Damn no wonder, I could not escape her hand grasp, it's because she is Level 4.

Just as I was thinking about Anya's status, I was interrupted by Syr who had brought my order.

I looked at dishes in front of me, it was a meatballs dish and four rolls with a filling of some type of sauce and a big glass of ale.

It seems that Syr was really busy, she gave me my order and excused herself, walking up to another table, placing the dishes in her hands and going back towards the kitchen.

Bringing the big glass, almost a jug, near my mouth and taking a sip of the cold ale, I thought, why not try appraise on Syr too. And did the same.

The next moment, I spurted out the ale I was drinking, and immediately felt a chill crawl up my spine. Looking ahead, I saw Syr had turned around and was straight at me.

I gave a slight smile towards her, and after staring at me for a few more moments, she turned around and walked away.

I once again looked at the virtual screen trying to confirm if what I was seeing was not an illusion or not! But the words were the same

------------------------------------

Syr Flova / ???

Goddess

-------------------------------------

Damn! So I had been talking to a goddess without knowing till today and would have continued the same if not for my appraisal skill.

I let out a sigh and quickly chugged down the entire glass of ale, making me feel a little light hearted.

Due to the merging of my memories from earth. I was able to maintain my composure.

Because in this world, or especially here in Orario, the normal mortals and even adventurers treat Gods and Goddesses with great respect, almost to the point of flattery.

I was not bothered by her being a goddess or not.

But finding out that I had been talking to a goddess and was acting as friends with her till now was still too much for me.

'Let's deal with that later!' Shaking my head to remove the distracting thoughts, I started eating the food in front of me.

...

"Hello Miss Mia" I greeted the owner who had come back, just in time as I finished eating my food.

"Yo, boy, back again" came the reply from the dwarfess.

I just nodded my head at her.

After paying for my order, I quickly slipped out, not wanting to both Anya, who was busy and not sure how to talk with Syr, now that I know she was a goddess.

...

Anyway reaching my home, I had a shower, changed my clothes and went to sleep.
