Chapter 34 - Epilogue

- France -

It was a tense last day in Britain as Harry and Fleur waited for their Portkey to take them back to France.

They were worried that the Ministry might try to stop their departure for one reason or another, but they lucked out. Lucius and the Wizengamot were too elated at removing Harry from the Sacred Twenty-Eight, and their passing of the Pure-blood Protections Act to react in time.

It wasn't until three days after they had arrived in France, that the Ministry tried to pass a law that would allow them to seize the Black Vaults, stating it was for "the rebuilding and betterment of Magical Britain" after the damages they claimed Harry had caused.

Gringotts openly laughed in the Minister and the Wizengamot's faces as they revealed that the entirety of the Black Vaults had already been transferred over to France, and that there was nothing left but an empty Vault.

The Ministry tried raising a fuss in response, demanding that the contents be returned to Britain and handed over to them, but the Goblins continued to laugh as they stated that it was no longer their problem. If the Ministry wanted to get their hands on the Vaults, they would have to try talking to the French Ministry and petition them to speak with the Gringotts branch there.

That was never going to happen, and Minister Lucius knew it.

After his appointment and subsequent removal of Harry from the Wizengamot, Harry and Fleur had returned to France before informing her father about what happened. Jacques, after taking the potion that Death had given Fleur (but not without the teens having to dodge numerous questions as to the creation of it), he had quickly spoken to the French Minister and warned the man about the changing climate in Magical Britain.

Relations between France and Britain quickly broke down after that.

The French wanted nothing to do with the Pureblood Faction or the Minister, bringing up old grudges about the Malfoy family's flight from France so long ago, and how the current climate in Britain was not something they could tolerate. France had gone through a terrible and bloody revolution to change their way of thinking, and had no desire to let such ideas return to their shores and fester like a disease as it had in Britain.

When the Daily Prophet got word of Harry's departure from Britain, and the removal of the Black Family from the Sacred Twenty-Eight…now Sacred Twenty-Seven, Andy Smudgley got to work writing dozens of scathing articles about the Minister and the Wizengamot.

He had never forgotten how much his career had changed after that first interview with Harry, and the following interviews that put him at the top of Magical Britain's journalism, and had sought to repay the young man by painting things in a favorable light for Harry while throwing all sorts of slander towards the Pure-bloods. Finding out that the relationship with Britain and their allies in France, who had been instrumental in stopping Voldemort's rise to power, it was almost too easy to get the public on their side.

The man had even called on Rita Skeeter to work her magic and write several front-page articles revealing the corruption in the Ministry and the past deeds of Lucius Malfoy.

Things got so bad that the Ministry finally stepped in and passed several laws restricting what the Daily Prophet could write about the Minister and the Wizengamot. Which only served to fan the flames of hatred amongst the journalists and Daily Prophet readers, who saw it as the hostile action of a tyrannical government.

Things were not looking good in Magical Britain, but that was no longer Harry's problem.

After all, he was too busy getting ready to raise a family to worry about the problems in another country.

- Timeskip: 11 Years Later -

"Papa! Have you seen my Beauxbatons hat?" A young girl's voice called out from the top of the stairs.

A soft chuckle sounded from the first floor as an older man's voice called out bemused, "Did you check the bottom of your closet?" There was a moment of silence as he got no response, before the sound of little feet raced into a bedroom seconds before the girl's voice replied. "Found it!"

Standing in the entryway of the living room, and older Harry dressed in a handsomely tailored three-piece suit shook his head fondly at his daughter's actions. Things had certainly been exciting after he and Fleur had abandoned Britain to its fate while they built a life for themselves in France.

After they had arrived safely in France, to the relief of Cho, Marietta, and Fleur's family; they had all come together for a meeting to discuss what they were all going to do moving forward.

Harry had sent the letter Dumbledore wrote for him to transfer over to Beauxbatons for his final year, and Madam Maxine replied immediately with an acceptance letter, stating how happy she was to welcome him to their prestigious school.

Cho and Marietta had sat down for a long talk, and ultimately decided to try and stick it out for their final year at Hogwarts. While their families had followed with them to France, and Jacques and Apolline helped get them all settled into new houses and jobs, the girls wanted to give Britain one last chance.

…it took them all of two weeks before they sent their transfer papers to Beauxbatons, before following in Harry's footsteps and abandoning Magical Britain once and for all.

The British Ministry, under the guidance of Minister Lucius Malfoy, enacted sweeping laws that took away the rights and privileges of the Half-bloods and Muggle-borns in the country. People were forced to provide proof of their family's magical lineage just to get some of the lowest positions in the Ministry, and dozens of businesses that were owned by the Wizengamot Lords and Ladies enacted similar policies.

Magical Britain, in the span of a few months, became a haven for the Pure-bloods of the Magical World.

Half-bloods, Muggle-borns, and every type of Magical creature fled the country in droves. France, Canada, and the United States welcomed them into their communities with open arms, happily accepting the thousands of families and their fortunes as new businesses started opening up, their economies flourishing with the increase in gold and spending.

Eventually, Britain realized that without the Half-bloods and Muggle-borns to do the more laborious jobs, their businesses quickly started to fail. Since all of the new laws passed gave every Pure-blood free reign to decide what jobs they wanted, none of them were willing to get their hands dirty and do actual work.

The lack of workers caused many of the Pure-blood families to descend into poverty as their businesses failed, and a panic went up as the Ministry struggled to stop things from getting worse. Half of the shops in Diagon Alley had already closed by then, and most of the residential districts were completely empty after the mass evacuation of everyone who wasn't a Pure-blood.

It got even worse as the new generation of witches and wizards tried to buy their school supplies for their first year at Hogwarts, only to have to buy whatever was available from outside the country as most of the shops were already out of business. And that wasn't even mentioning the fact that Ollivander's had never reopened. Garrick was still unaccounted for, and the few other wandmakers either sold shoddy wands that barely worked, or had left the country when they realized how bad things were getting.

When the Daily Prophet had to close down due to a lack of staffing, the news from Britain started to dwindle until there was nothing but rumors coming out of the country. The last bit of real news regarding Magical Britain came when the ICW was eventually forced to intervene after the British Ministry tried forcing Half-bloods and Muggle-borns to come back. Magical Britain quickly lost its place as a member of the ICW after that.

The last thing anyone heard, Magical Britain had developed a co-dependent relationship with Magical Bulgaria to keep their communities going; having found common ground with the Bulgarians, who believed in many of the same Pure-blood ideals as the British.

Thankfully, the fallout never reached France's shores as Harry and Fleur celebrated with their families and friends the birth of their first daughter: Victorie "Vicky" Potter. Named after Fleur's grandmother, who had always been Fleur's inspiration.

It had been a mixed bag of trial and error as the two new parents worked out how to raise a daughter.

The Delacours had been a real life-saver, providing all the help they could need as Fleur started working as an Enchantress, while Harry finished his schooling in Beauxbatons with Cho and Marietta.

After graduation, Harry received a job offer from Madam Maxime to teach their Transfiguration classes at Beauxbatons. The half-giantess had taken one look at his Transfiguration abilities, and after receiving a glowing recommendation from Minerva, had not even hesitated to offer the new father as place at the prestigious school.

He had accepted immediately, relieved to discover that Beauxbatons did not require him to live on campus during the semester, and could Floo there in the morning before returning home in the afternoon to be with his family.

Cho, after having her hopes dashed at no longer being able to try out for the Tutshill Tornadoes -who required that she live in Britain- was ecstatic to receive an offer to try out for France's International Quidditch team. They had all congratulated her when she came back from tryouts with the news that she was accepted onto their reserves as a rookie Chaser.

It took her two years to get enough experience for the team to offer her a position as one of the starting Chaser, and Cho continued playing for them for the next five years before she eventually retired from the sport.

Marietta, who had gotten a job in France's Ministry with Jacques's help, had been so proud of her girlfriend -now wife- and had gone to every game with Harry and Fleur to root Cho on.

It wasn't until she saw how happy Harry and Fleur were with their newborn daughter, that she started wondering about having a child. After discussing it multiple times with Cho to make sure they were both alright with it, the two had gone over to the Potters' house down the street before asking for the greatest favor of their lives.

They wanted Harry to be the father of their child.

Such a decision wasn't one that any of them made lightly, but the life-long friendship between the two couples was unbreakable, and the girls couldn't think of anyone more worthy to be the father of their child than the boy they grew up with.

Harry had immediately checked to make sure Fleur was okay with it -who laughed before saying that not only was she okay with it, but that she also wanted to be there when it happened- the two couples had retired to the main bedroom for their first, and certainly not last, orgy. The girls made sure that, while they each got time with Harry, he was to finish inside Marietta every time before they all agreed that she was most likely pregnant.

Seven months later, the Delacours and Potters were there with Marietta and Cho to welcome baby Anna Edgecombe. The beautiful girl born with the reddish-blonde hair of her mother, and the emerald-green eyes of her father/uncle. It was agreed that until Anna was old enough to decide for herself the type of relationship she had with Harry, he would act as her "uncle" for the time being.

Fleur, who was feeling the desire for another child after Anna's birth, jumped her husband as soon as they got home and put little Victorie to bed. Several nights of intense love-making later, she was once again pregnant with their second daughter, Lilienne "Lily" Potter; named after Harry's mother in honor of her memory.

Following Lilienne's birth, Harry and Fleur agreed that two kids were enough for them, and they happily settled down with their two Veela daughters, spending their days working and relaxing with family while setting up playdates for their daughters with Marietta and Cho's daughter Anna.

Smiling fondly at the memories, Harry felt a pair of hands wrap around his waist from behind, as a voice purred in his ear. "She gets that forgetfulness from you, my heart."

Pretending to be offended, Harry gasped in fake outrage. "Wha-..! That's not true!" Turning around in her arms, he stared into the gorgeous sapphire-blue eyes of his wife Fleur.

Motherhood had worked wonders on Fleur, who had blossomed from the willowy figure she had in her teens, into the breathtakingly-gorgeous, hourglass-figured Milf that looked like Apolline's twin. Her C-cup chest growing to an eye-catching DD-cup after giving birth to Victotrie, and her butt had filled out while still retaining its firmness.

In Harry's eyes, Fleur was the very picture of the Greek goddess Aphrodite with her long white-gold hair on in a half-braid that fell over her shoulder, dressed in a flowing white sundress reminiscent of the first time they meant. The gold jewelry almost overshadowed by the gold wedding ring with a massive diamond on her finger.

"How could you say something so mean?" He pouted, getting a soft musical laugh from his wife who responded by kissing him gently on the lips.

"Because it is true," She teased, her eyes sparkling as she stared into his emerald-green eyes that seemed to shine with love and affection. Her husband had only grown even more handsome over the years, his daily exercise ensuring that he never lost his muscular physique that drove her crazy with desire, and as he aged Harry became the definition of what she and her fellow Veela called a Dilf.

Giving a light smack to his muscular backside, she giggled at his slight jump as she pulled away from their hug. "Now let's go, we need to be leaving soon if we want to get Victorie to Beauxbatons on time for her first day!"

The sound of footsteps racing down the stairs was followed by a slight jump onto the landing as a young girl, who looked like a small version of Fleur, stood dressed in powder-blue Beauxbatons robes. "I'm ready!" Victorie called out triumphantly, reaching up to place a small powder-blue hat on top of her wavy white-gold hair.

As Fleur fused over her eldest daughter's uniform, smoothing out some of the wrinkles, a slightly younger girl who looked like a carbon copy of the other girls walked over to Harry before reaching out a small hand to grab her father's.

"You look like a fairy!" Lilienne teased, the ten-year-old giggling as her older sister stuck her tongue out playfully. "Are we meeting Anna there?" She asked, glancing up into her father's eyes as Harry nodded.

"Yes, my darling. She and your aunties will meet us at the entrance." He smiled, watching as Lilienne's sapphire-blue eyes sparkled in joy.

Fleur straightened up from helping fix Victorie's hat into its proper place, before gently taking her hand as she called out to her husband and youngest daughter. "Are we all ready?" Glancing around as the four of them nodded, she smiled. "Then let's go!"

Hand in hand, the loving and happy family of four left their house by the sea to meet up with their family and friends at Beauxbatons.

- Timeskip: 80 Years Later -

As an elderly Harry laid in bed next to and elderly Fleur, who he thought still looked breathtakingly gorgeous, the couple smiled happily as they remembered their lives together.

It had been a wonderful life, filled with joy, laughter, happiness, and love as they watched their daughters grow up. Together with Cho and Marietta, they loved and supported each other through the joys and struggles of parenthood, growing closer as a large family with each passing year.

Sadly, just as there was joy and happiness, so too was there heartbreak and sadness. It began with the passing of Minerva, who had eventually moved to France following the downfall of Magical Britain and took up the position of Headmistress at Beauxbatons after Madam Maxime had retired.

It had been a struggle the first few days for Harry, but with the love and support of his family and friends, he was eventually able to carry on while keeping the memory in his heart of the woman who saved him from a life with the Dursleys and introduced him to a world of magic.

Nearly two decades later saw the deaths of Fleur's parents, Jacques and Apolline, who had passed away within hours of each other. It was then that Harry learned from his wife that when a Veela mates with someone, their lives become tied together. When a Veela's mate dies, the Veela will join them soon after.

Thankfully, they were able to enjoy another three decades before Cho and Marietta died of old age and natural causes. The heartbreak Harry felt from watching his two bestfriends and mothers of his third child was excruciating. But as long as he had Fleur and his three daughters by his side, he was able to carry on.

Now, at a respectable 102-years-old as Fleur neared her 105th birthday, the elderly couple knew that their time had come. Surrounded by their daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Harry and Fleur leaned in for a gentle kiss as they closed their eyes.

"I'll see you soon, Flower." Harry whispered, pulling back from the kiss to stare into her sapphire-blue eyes that sparkled with just as much energy as when they were teens. "I love you…"

Fleur brought up a slightly wrinkled hand that barely showed her real age, thanks to her Veela blood, to run it through his grey-and-black hair as she gave a watery smile to the love of her life. "I love you too, 'Arry…" She whispered back, feeling her eyes start to grow heavy as Harry's felt the same. "I will always be with you, my heart…In this life, and the next."

Moments later, after their final words were said, Harry and Fleur passed away together, surrounded by the love of their family that would continue on for generations to come.

- The Void -

Slowly waking up, as if coming out of a dream after the most blissful sleep, Harry blinked sluggishly as he looked around.

Seeing the endless galaxy stretched out around him, his eyes widened before he bolted up to a sitting position as he spotted Fleur groggily waking up. Surprisingly, what was once the sight of his 105-year-old wife who hadn't looked a day over 50, was now the young teenage form that he had first come to love all those years ago.

"Fleur?" He called out, blinking at the strength in his voice before glancing down in shock as he noticed the missing wrinkles on the skin of his hands.

Hearing her husband's voice call out to her, Fleur groaned as she sat up, gasping as she stared at what looked to be a teenaged Harry.

"'Arry?" She asked nervously, getting a shaky nod in response. "What happened?"

Before he could respond, a voice called out next to them. "You died…"

Snapping their heads to where they heard the voice come from, Harry and Fleur both gasped at the familiar sight of a woman standing before them, dressed in black robes with a wide hood over her head that shadowed the top half of her face. Black-painted lips stretched into a warm smile as Death greeted, "Hello my dears…it's been a long time."

Pulling back the hood to reveal her gorgeous pale face and cascading ebony locks, she held out a hand with black-painted fingernails towards them as they stared up at her in shock from their seated positions.

"What would both you say to going on another adventure?"
