In a world where gods wage war and demons defy the heavens, there once stood a divine being unmatched in strength—the Heavenly War God, a warrior whose blade could sever the skies and whose name alone could silence entire armies. He fought until his final breath, carving a path through the ranks of the Heavenly Demons. But even gods are not immune to loss. Amid the battlefield, drenched in blood and fury, he held his beloved in his arms as she died protecting him. Her final smile etched itself into his soul. With her passing, his purpose shattered… and so did he. In a final act of vengeance, he unleashed devastation upon his enemies, perishing in a blaze of godly wrath. Yet death was not his end. Reborn into a new world as a crippled child with a forgotten name and a body too weak to cultivate, he carries within him a mysterious legacy—the blood of a god, dormant but seething with untold power. Mocked, abused, and discarded by those around him, his second life is plagued by shadows of a past he cannot remember, and enemies who sense something dangerous in his veins. Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Fall of a God

A cold wind swept across the endless plains, carrying with it the thick stench of blood. The once-green land was now dyed red, soaked in carnage. Hills of corpses littered the battlefield—humans, beasts, and creatures of every race. Some had horns, others wings, and each twisted body was a testament to the savagery of the war.

These beings were not ordinary. They were demons—Heavenly Demons, to be exact. One of the most powerful races beneath the heavens. They loathed the divine gods with unyielding hatred, and that hatred had birthed an era of war that scorched the world.

Now, the plains were overrun. On one side stood the demon army, clad in bloodstained armor, shields raised, and weapons drawn. They stared ahead, many glancing toward their commander, awaiting his order.

But their leader did not speak.

He stood frozen, fear etched into his draconic features. His body was that of a man, but his head bore the fearsome majesty of a dragon. Gold armor clung to him, cracked and splintered from battle. His clawed hands trembled as his gaze fixed on a lone figure standing amidst the sea of corpses.

A man.

One man.

The demon general's heart quivered—not just from fear, but disbelief. This warrior had cleaved through their strongest formations as though they were nothing more than paper. His twin steel-blue swords danced like twin calamities, severing heads and shattering bodies. With every life he took, he only seemed to grow stronger.

This was him.

The Heavenly War God.

The undefeated, divine general of the heavens—wielder of Heaven Destroyer, the sword said to tear through voids and pierce the firmament itself. No one had ever survived his wrath. Until now, none had made him bleed.

But now, he knelt.

The indomitable war god was no longer standing. His golden armor was drenched in blood, though none could say if it was his or his enemies'. He cradled someone in his arms—a woman clad in scarlet armor, her red hair spilling across his lap like a river of fire.

Her beauty was divine, but now marred by blood trailing from the corner of her lips. Her armor was riddled with wounds, one massive hole piercing near her heart. And yet, she smiled gently as she raised a trembling hand to his face.

He held her as though the world around them had ceased to exist.

Her voice, barely more than a whisper, flowed like water.

"Helion... I'm so happy. My wish has been fulfilled. I protected you... one last time. In the next life... I'll still be your bride, my love."

Her breath caught. Her hand fell.

Still.

A single teardrop slipped from the corner of her eye as death took her.

Helion did not speak. He could not. All the power in his body, all the glory of the divine, felt meaningless in that moment. His world shattered with her last breath.

Then, something shifted.

The air around him twisted. Rage, pure and unfathomable, erupted from his body like a storm. The ground trembled. Weaker demons nearby were instantly reduced to blood mist, their bodies torn apart by the sheer pressure of his grief.

His swords glowed with a cold, deadly light. He rose slowly, laying her gently on the blood-soaked earth.

His eyes—once bright as the sky—were now filled with a chilling frost, as if the very sun had died within him.

He pointed Heaven Destroyer at the demon army.

And in a voice that echoed through the heavens, he whispered:

"You should all die."

There was no hesitation. No fear. Only vengeance.

The War God charged forward, his figure cutting through the battlefield like a divine storm. Even if this body perished… even if this soul shattered… he would take them all with him.

His only wish?

If there is a next life…I will be stronger.Strong enough to protect her.
