Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1: THE LAZIEST BEING

In the center of time, space, and reality.

A being that even Gods cannot control, resting asleep.

Though this being is the strongest,

IT'S ALSO THE LAZIEST OF ALL.

...

And... that's me.

Yes.

M. E.

Me.

Sleeping and doing nothing is relaxing, don't you agree?

Because, you know...

What's the point of doing things that are already tiring?

Don't I have work?

Of course not.

All I've done from the very beginning, even after the creation of time, space and reality, is...

Sleeping.

It's really relaxing.

Well, sometimes I watch shows, like the destruction of universes, or the extinction of species.

I also watched the Gods creating creatures, galaxies and universes.

The 'First Battle' was a war between Gods that lasted for millions of years... but all that was so lame.

So boring.

Just by watching them doing all that makes me tired to death.

...

But,

For some reason

There's one species that piques my interest.

"HUMANS"

Sure, some of them work hard to make use of their Unique Skills to survive. And some kill their own kind just to prove who's the strongest among them.

...

Unique Skills are given to every being, whether it's two or one. It's a randomized gift, but the strength of the Unique Skill depends on the species.

For example, when a Fire Lizardman gets two Unique Skill, and . Its first Unique Skill will be a lot weaker compared to the second. This applies to all species... except Humans.

...

Attribute: Water

Rank Level: F → SSS

Definition: This Skill allows the user to control and manipulate water in all its forms (liquid, solid, and gas). Its effectiveness depends on Rank Level, Mastery, and Species.

Attribute: Fire

Rank Level: F → SSS

Definition: This skill engulfs the user in an armor of living flame, transforming them into a walking inferno. The flames burn with such intensity that most materials instantly vaporize upon contact, leaving only ashes in their wake. Effectiveness depends on Rank Level, Mastery, and Species.

...

And I must compliment them for that. They've existed on their little blue planet called 'Earth' for almost 3 million years—from stupid monkeys to monkeys with no tails.

Never in my life have I witnessed such a strange species.

They discovered fire... but used it to kill their own kind.

They invented tools for survival... but used them to kill their own kind.

These little creatures can be stupid, but hey—after all these millions of years, they're still a monkey.

A disappointment.

...

I don't really know how these monkeys with no tails still exist after slaughtering each other while fighting off other species invading their little blue marble for billions of years.

(Monkeys with no tails. A. K. A. Humans)

"Ah, yes. I forgot—there's this thingy the Gods use to make contracts, granting the contracted human strength."

"What's it called again...?"

"Ah! 'Vessel of Gods.'"

When a God proposes a contract to a human, both parties must willingly agree to the conditions.

Each party can set one condition.

For example, if a God demands its Vessel "vanquish all demons until their last breath," the human must agree.

Then, after that the human can set their own condition to balance the contract.

But if either party disagrees, the contract is void.

However, if a God forces the contract, the human may end up crippled or worse.

The same goes for the God.

...

*Yaaawn—!

"Hmm... What should I do..."

*Yawn—!

"S-oo... Many... *Yawn—! Problems... But what... can I do?"

"It's their problem, not mine. Why bother..."

*Yawn—!

"I should sleep for thousands of years... I feel tired after being awake for three minutes..."

"When will my... Vessel... be born..."

...
