Chapter 1 - Ronkai Vs Kain

The room is drowned in darkness—a wide apartment space, silent as a tomb. The silence is loud, almost screaming, as both fighters stand toe to toe on opposite sides of the room.

Ronkai locks eyes with Kain. He slides his back foot back, front foot forward, lifting his arms and clenching his fists, assuming a tight fighting stance.

Kain raises his arm, gripping the hilt of his sword. With a smooth motion, he draws a sharp longsword.

You really think you've got that kind of power?" Kain says, smirking.

Ronkai twitches his eyes, letting out a low groan. "Well, you wanna test that?"

Kain chuckles, rubbing his forehead. "Yeah, sure."

They begin circling each other slowly, like predators. Eyes locked in. Tension building. The only sound is the heavy pressure of each step, their soles scraping the floor like whispers of war.

Suddenly, Kain stretches out his sword—

Ronkai launches back—

A feint.

"It's ok to be scared," Kain says, grinning.

Ronkai clenches his fists tighter. "It's human instinct."

Without warning, Ronkai bursts forward. Feet planted. The floor erupts beneath him, air recoils from the force. He closes the distance in a blink—

Jab. Jab. Hook. Uppercut. Spinning kick.

A brutal onslaught.

But Kain parries the strikes, lifting his sword with precision. He steps to the side, circling, slashing with muscle-tightened force from multiple angles.

Ronkai weaves, raises his arm to block—

But the blade tears into his flesh.

A deep gash splits his forearm open. Blood slides down, dripping onto the ground like a quiet warning.

They're both in constant motion now.

It's clear—

Ronkai holds the physical power.

Kain holds the edge in precision and technique.

Furniture around them ruptures, splintering and crashing apart with every movement.

Ronkai slides back, creating distance.

His forearms are slashed open, flesh split. He grunts.

"Maybe I was right. You are weak," Kain taunts.

"The fight's barely started," Ronkai growls, raising his arms again.

Kain stands untouched—clean like soap.

They brace—

The real fight starts now.

Ronkai vanishes in a blur—nothing but a trail of distorted air left in his place. Kain's eyes widen—too late. He's already behind him.

Before Kain can react, a knee rocketed into his back.

The force erupted through his spine, launching his chest forward, splitting the air in two.

He's blasted across the room, smashing into a wall—

Shattering it—

Sent flying through the hallway.

He crashes again, debris exploding everywhere.

Kain lifts his body, staggering, coughing up blood. The strike was brutal—

But nothing fractured.

He lifts his sword.

'Damn… this fucker got unnatural physical prowess,' Kain thinks.

No time to breathe—

Ronkai lunges again with the same terrifying speed and power.

Each punch pounds into Kain's body, skin caving in from the impact.

A kick spikes into his calf—

Then a savage elbow jammed into his face, bone cracked.

Kain growls, teeth clenched.

He deflects the next attack, then drives his sword across Ronkai's shoulder—

The blade mangles into flesh, splitting it wide open.

Ronkai doesn't scream.

He clenches his teeth, eyes wide with fury.

Grabbing the sword by the blade, blood coating his hand, he forces it back—

Pushing against Kain's strength.

They stagger.

Ronkai's shoulder is torn wide open. Flesh palpable. Blood soaking.

They stare at each other, chests rising, breaths heavy.

Kain gives no pause. He surges forward, increasing the force of his strikes.

His blade slices through Ronkai's body, carving flesh.

Ronkai evades some—

But others land, brutal and deep.

He braces through the cuts.

Still clenching his teeth, he plants his feet and pivots—

With pure brute force, he slams both hands into Kain's collar and hurls him into the hallway wall.

The impact shakes the building.

CRACK!

CRACK!

Kain gets slammed into multiple walls—each one detonating outward with each bone-rattling hit.

He spits blood, groaning in pain.

Without wasting a moment, Kain anticipates the next slam—

He twists—driving the sword into Ronkai's ribs in one seamless motion.

He slides it diagonally—skin tears open in a jagged line.

Ronkai screams in agony—eyes wide, voice raw.

He lets go of Kain's collar and stumbles back, blood raining down and painting the floor beneath him.

'Ngh… didn't expect that…' Ronkai thinks, gritting his teeth.

Kain dashes forward—relentless—his blade tearing through Ronkai's flesh again.

Blood flies across the hallway, spraying the walls with a splash of crimson violence.

Ronkai groans, staggering back, barely dodging and pivoting.

Blood drips down like a broken faucet, and his vision starts to blur.

Kain drives his sword to Ronkai's side—

Ronkai leans in, blocking with his elbow—

But the sheer force explodes on impact.

The ground beneath them crushes.

Air recoils so hard it ripples around Ronkai's body.

He gets launched—

Crashing into a window.

SHATTER!

Glass explodes outward, shards slicing into his skin.

Cold, fresh air hits him as he plummets from the building, falling at a vicious speed.

His hair whips violently, body spinning through the night.

Kain follows.

He leaps off the edge—sword pointed downward, tip aimed straight for Ronkai's chest mid-air.

But as the blade closes in—

Ronkai twists violently to the side and smashes his fist into Kain's face.

CRACK!

Kain's face caves inward from the strike.

He's sent hurtling even faster, body spiraling before colliding with the ground below—

BOOM!

The impact cracks the pavement, debris knocked up like an explosion.

Ronkai propels himself down—

He slams into the ground like a meteor, air erupting violently on impact.

Both fighters are left there—bloodied, bruised, breathless.

Ronkai convulses as he forces himself to stand, blood dripping, muscles twitching.

Kain rises too, placing a hand over his mouth and wiping the blood off with a slow, burning glare.

Ronkai stops holding back.

His muscles begin to bulge—veins pop like cables snapping.

A raw, untamed surge of physical power radiates off him, warping the air around his body.

Kain responds.

He stops holding back too—

Dark energy erupts around his sword, crawling up the blade and onto his arm like it's feeding off him.

It pulses, alive—consuming.

Both fighters lock eyes—

No more games.

No more holding back.

They get ready.

Round two begins.

Ronkai vanished—pure speed.

The ground cracked beneath where he once stood, rupturing from force only a god could match.

Buildings trembled, windows shattered as a sonic boom echoed through the city.

He hammered into Kain—

But Kain caught the strikes and deflects it, raising his sword.

Both fighters danced through the city, clashing thought out the darkness.

BAM!

Ronkai's fist drilled into Kain's gut—Kain growled, clenching his teeth hard.

BAM!

A low kick smashed into Kain's thigh—the impact ruptured the air, blowing it sideways.

BAM!

Ronkai slammed his forehead into Kain's skull with brutal force—

The collision ruptured Kain's forehead, blood spitting out from the skin split wide.

But then—

Dark energy crawled out of Kain's wound, like smoke with fangs.

It wrapped around Ronkai's face—

Kain retaliated with a violent headbutt.

CRACK!

Ronkai's head popped back—

And before he could recover, Kain blitzed forward and began slashing.

SLASH!

His blade ripped through Ronkai's palm as Ronkai raised his hand to block—

The blade sliced across the side of his neck, forcing his knees to buckle.

Ronkai groaned, breath sharp.

The black energy was getting inside him.

It crawled beneath his skin—

Weakened his strength—

His physical prowess began to shake, muscles trembling uncontrollably.

Kain raised his sword again—

A savage onslaught began.

Each slash.

Each thrust.

Split Ronkai's skin wide open.

Flesh peeled, blood erupted, painting him in crimson horror.

They tore through the city—buildings rupturing, cars flying, civilians screaming and running.

Ronkai tilted his head left—

The blade kissed his cheek goodnight, slicing a deep red trail.

Then—

Kain charged up.

His energy surged like a storm given shape.

With the force of a collapsing star, he thrust his sword forward.

Ronkai crossed his arms into an X-block—

BOOM!

The sword's tip collided, shattering both forearms on impact.

The black energy exploded—

It cursed the air, consumed the ground, and became darker than night itself.

KA-THOOM!

Ronkai tumbled across the ground, each slam of his body answering with agony—

Blood smeared across the roads and nearby buildings, staining them in red.

He grunted, slamming his hand into the ground, his soles grinding into the road as he slid backward, finally halting the violent roll.

He groaned in pain—eyes twitching, legs shaking like a broken tower ready to fall.

Kain walked forward—

Now cloaked in full dark energy, the atmosphere around him twisted with pure malevolence.

"I gotta admit," Kain said coldly, voice sharp and cruel.

"You actually made me feel a little scared."

He smirked, stepping closer.

"But to be honest—strength only takes you so far."

Ronkai placed a hand on one knee, forcing himself up.

His shirt was torn to shreds, chest and arms drenched in blood.

He stood—barely—but his eyes burned.

"Yeah, well..." he said, coldly, voice low and bitter.

"If you were truly strong… I'd already be dead."

Ronkai stood firm.

Even as pain ate through his soul, burned through his veins, and clawed at his mind—he didn't fold.

He inhaled deep.

Exhaled slow.

Chest rising.

Then—he exploded forward, shattering the ground beneath him.

Debris consumed the battlefield like a violent storm.

Kain sidestepped—feet planted, calm—and thrust his blade forward with deadly intent.

But Ronkai use it.....

"RONKAI!!!" he roared.

His fist socked through Kain's dark energy like paper.

Kinetic force surged through his arm, and amplified his strike tenfold.

The punch landed clean—

Kain's eyes went wide as his body detonated backwards.

The air recoiled violently—buildings behind him shattered from the shock.

Kain's energy swirled in panic, anchoring him midair to stop the slide.

He coughed blood.

The dark energy around him flickered—its grip weakened.

"The hell was that?" he muttered, dazed.

No answer.

Ronkai was already lunging again.

THUD!!

Hook. Hook. Hook—to the ribs.

CRACK!!

Uppercut—to the jaw.

BANG!!

Elbow—to the face.

BOOM!!

Roundhouse Kick.

WHIP!!

Back kick to the chest.

Each strike slammed Kain backward, staggering him.

His defense slowed.

His precision—cracked.

Ronkai grabbed his collar—SLAM!

He hurled Kain into a nearby building.

The wall buckled—windows exploded outward like shrapnel.

Before Kain could breathe, Ronkai charged.

His fists hammered into Kain's body like war drums,

each hit louder than the last—

Kain's bones begged for mercy.

Then—

Ronkai shifted his hips and spun—

CRACK!

A back kick to the jaw—

Kain ricocheted sideways, body bouncing off concrete like a corpse.

"RONKAI!!!"

He screamed his own name as he launched—

A flying knee rocketed into Kain's chin, lifting his entire body off the ground.

Ronkai followed through.

WHIP!

A roundhouse kick caught Kain's ribs, sending him flying again—

Tiles shattered, air recoiled, and Kain crashed into another building.

Blood spewed. Bones groaned.

'Fuck... if this keeps up, I'm gonna die!' Kain thought, dizzy and reeling.

Still clutching his sword, Kain made a choice.

He drew all the dark energy from his body—

and forced it into the blade.

The energy crawled across the metal like a serpent.

And just as Ronkai lunged again—

BOOM!

Kain slammed his sword into the ground.

The earth split.

His front foot dug in deep—

and with godlike force, he drove the sword forward.

SHHHHRRRAAAAKK!!!

The slash warped the terrain.

The ground tore open.

Air exploded like thunder across the city.

Buildings shattered, windows burst, cars combusted into flames.

The shockwave carved a ravine through the battlefield.

Ronkai was smashed into the air—his body flung like a broken doll.

He collided with the ground and tumbled, slamming and rolling, bones rupturing on impact.

He came to a stop.

Silent.

Air recoiling from his position.

He tried to stand—

But his body screamed in protest.

Fractured.

Torn.

Flesh shredded open like ripped canvas—chest, arms, stomach all leaking blood.

He winced in pure agony.

Kain followed the destruction—calm, controlled, blade still charged with energy.

He found Ronkai on the ground, muscles trembling, struggling to rise.

Round Two Ends.
