Chapter 6 - 05 Please Don't Just Look, Buy Something!

"I don't want to work!!!!"

At Schale, the Federal Investigation Club.

Among them, Han Seol-guk, the club's representative and an adult, shrieked, staring at the mountain of paperwork still piled high.

[Here we go again...]

Seeing the Sensei act so much like a child already, after only a short while, Arona, the main OS of the Shittim Chest, let out a sigh.

"Hey, Arona~ Isn't there maybe a machine somewhere that does paperwork automatically?"

[If there was, students from other academies would already be using it, wouldn't they?]

Right, that's true... Sensei conceded.

'Haa... How did I end up coming here and doing so much work? I didn't even do much work in my original world...'

Sensei recalled the past, before coming to Kivotos.

"Hey, hey, did you see that the Final Chapter of Blue Archive is out this time?"

"Yeah."

At that time, Seol-guk was just an ordinary office worker you could find anywhere.

The guy beside him, excited about the Final Chapter being released, was his old best friend.

They were both deeply engrossed in a game called Blue Archive back then. He'd actually spent quite a bit on microtransactions to get some students.

Once you develop affection for a game, it's hard to give it up easily.

"Wow! Look! Kuroko appears in the story!!"

"But she's not available as a unit, is she?"

"Don't hit me with facts!!! Ambush me with lies and fabrication!!"

"Heh..."

Talking about Blue Archive with his friend was fun. It was enjoyable because they both had common ground to talk about.

"By the way, did you finish organizing this paperwork?"

"Nope."

"Do it fast. The section chief said we'll have to work overtime if you don't finish organizing all of it this time."

"Haha!! That alone won't stop me! Wait for me, Final Chapter!!! I'm coming for you!!"

"Haaah..."

His friend was so obsessed with Blue Archive that he kept putting off his work until later. And even then, he'd only barely finish it in time.

Even though he'd been chewed out by his boss about it just the other day. He really was something else.

Yeah... he was something else.

If only he hadn't died...

"....."

Cause of Death: Accidental.

They said he died instead while saving a child crossing the road.

He was something else even in death. How could he even think to save that child? If it had been him, he would have just stood there and watched...

Maybe, by dying, he was reincarnated in the world of Blue Archive that he loved so much.

Because the actions that fool took were exactly like a Sensei.

Several months passed after his funeral.

"Whew..... I finished the Final Chapter."

Seol-guk put down the cellphone he was holding.

"Should I bury a cellphone in his grave?"

Since he had some free time, he'd cleared the Final Chapter on his friend's account too. If he buried this, his friend would be satisfied. Wouldn't he be crying and grateful in heaven or hell?

"Hwaaa... I'm tired..."

His eyes were gradually closing. It seemed to be the effect of staying up all night playing the game. He hadn't even pulled an all-nighter for the college entrance exams, but he was doing it for a mere game... a failure as an adult.

"I... haven't finished all the paperwork yet..."

Whatever. Getting yelled at by his boss once wouldn't be the end of the world...

And so, Seol-guk closed his eyes and fell asleep.

But that was when he shouldn't have slept.

No, he should have deleted the game.

Because...

"Sensei!!"

"Gah!!"

Who could have known that the place he woke up in would be Kivotos?

The rest of this story is the same as in the game. He became the Sensei of Schale and acquired Arona at Sanctum Tower.

Along the way, when he took off his coat because it was hot, he even met Wakamo, and afterwards, whenever Yuuka or other students ran into trouble, he would help them.

But here, a small crack appeared.

"...Definitely... that was Shiro..."

Shiro, one of the Total Assault bosses that exists in the game, had defeated the delinquents who occupied Sanctum Tower.

The problem here was that the figure shouldn't have appeared yet. And even if it had, it's supposed to be a boss located at the amusement park, as a set with a figure named Kuro...

Those things were Decagrammatons, manipulated by the Gematria member Maestro.

"...an Irregular..."

Was this something that happened because he knew the original story? Or had something fundamentally changed?

What was certain was that... the original story could be altered.

If this turn of events led to the original story flowing in a good direction, it would be beneficial for him. However, one had to consider the worst possible outcome.

If the original story changed and students died, or something even more painful came... he...

[Sensei, a letter has arrived.]

"Huh? Where?"

[It's from an academy called Abydos.]

Could it be that...?

He tore open the envelope Arona had given him and read the contents.

[To the Advisor Sensei of the Federal Investigation Club,

Hello. I am Okusora Ayane from Abydos High School. The reason I am writing this letter is simply because I have a request, one that feels rather shameless to ask.

To be blunt, our academy is being harassed.

By a local gang, at that.

The circumstances behind this are quite complex, but...

It seems the gang is targeting our school building.

Our students are currently trying their best to hold them off, but our ammunition and supplies are starting to run out...

If things continue like this, our school is on the verge of being occupied by the gang.

That is why I am making this request.

Sensei. Is there any way you could help us?]

"It's here..."

The first main story arc.

"Selling toys! Selling fun toys..."

Near the Millennium Science School building, Yami had spread out his bundle on the ground and was selling toys.

If you were to ask how many he had sold...

It was zero.

"I'm ruined."
