Chapter 2 - Reincarnation (2)

Three and a half years.

That's how long it's been since I was reincarnated as a baby in this world.

In the beginning, it was incredibly difficult to adapt. The life of a baby is extremely easy, but for someone who is conscious of what they're doing, it's actual hell.

Even more so when you're in a foreign country, where you don't understand a single word of the language.

The first few months were the worst, but after a while, the shame fades.

Mostly replaced by laziness, my life in the first year consisted basically of eating, pooping, sleeping, and learning the language.

Which wasn't that hard.

In my past life, I wanted to work in robotics.

To pay for college, besides my job, I sold all kinds of art online. And to get more clients, I sold in various countries.

So I learned several languages — English, Spanish, Italian, and French. I was intermediate in all of them, but enough to get by.

I may have been a delinquent in my past life, but I was also very intelligent, bringing home various awards from school. That's why they never stopped me from doing whatever I wanted.

Sure, I could have used that potential much better — but I definitely wasted most of it.

And when I finally started using it again after so long, my life came crashing down.

Eight months. That's how long it took me to fully understand spoken Japanese.

Around that same time, during an outing with my new mother to a nearby park to enjoy some fresh air...

I finally understood the world I had landed in. Of course, it's not that hard when you see someone who looks exactly like All Might flying across the sky.

I don't know if I should be happy to have reincarnated in a world where, depending on luck, you might get the power to fly through the air like a bird or lift cars as if they were loaves of bread.

Or you might just end up blowing bubbles when you're sick. Believe me — I saw someone with that Quirk.

If there's one thing I'm grateful for in this world, it's that I was lucky enough to be born into a good family.

My mother, Sakura Sakuragi, was a woman of average height, with straight pink hair that fell gently to her shoulders. Her green eyes shone with a serene calm, but they couldn't hide the love she had for her family.

Her Quirk, Floral Perfume, caused her to exude scents depending on her mood. Whenever she was happy, she gave off the scent of cherry blossoms. When she was sad, the air seemed heavier, and a matching sadness would fill everyone nearby.

Since she owned and worked at a flower shop, her Quirk was very useful — customers who went there once always came back.

My father, Daichi, was a tall man with short purple hair, standing 1.90 meters tall and packed with muscles.

His Quirk was called Variable Weight — it allowed him to temporarily adjust the weight of his body or specific parts of it.

His punches could hit as hard as concrete blocks, and at other times, he could be so light he walked silently like a ninja, even levitating slightly above the ground for a short time.

This Quirk was perfect for his work as a carpenter, helping him handle heavy tools, stabilize large pieces, and even resist light impacts without injury.

Of course, his Quirk had limits — changing his weight for long periods left him exhausted.

Overall, he was a hardworking, steady, and reliable man, with subtle traits that most people overlooked.

He is a little shy, and only spoke words of love when he was left to take care of me alone. but he always treated me with the utmost care, as if I would break at the slightest pressure.

As for me, I was currently sitting in the park, eating an ice cream, watching people with different Quirks pass by.
