The Ekans hissed in pain, slithering back to recover. Its narrow eyes now burned with fury—no longer viewing the battle as a hunt, but a challenge. It tensed, coils tightening.
Ash stood firm, aura pulsing in rhythm with the forest around him. He could feel the connection—Eevee's determination, Pidgey's fierce loyalty, the very will of the forest urging them on.
"Alright," he said, voice steady. "Let's end this with everything we've got!"
He pointed forward.
"Pidgey—Gust! Pin it in place! Eevee—circle wide, and charge in for another Tackle when it's stunned!"
Pidgey flapped hard, wings glowing faint green from the forest's blessing. Leaves and dust kicked up in a focused whirlwind, hammering into Ekans' face and forcing it to lower its guard.
Ekans shrieked, blinded by the sudden gale.
Eevee, small and swift, darted into the underbrush, then burst out from the side with a determined growl.
"Now, Eevee!"
She leapt into the air, colliding with Ekans' jaw just as it tried to rise. The force knocked the serpent off its coils, leaving it dazed.
Ash raised his fist. "Now, Pidgey—Quick Attack, full speed!"
With a cry, Pidgey streaked forward like a missile, slamming Ekans right in the center and sending it crashing into a nearby tree. The snake collapsed, groaning once before falling still, clearly unable to continue.
The clearing fell silent.
Ash exhaled slowly, heart still racing. "We did it…"
Pidgey fluttered to the ground, wings drooping but pride glowing in his eyes. Eevee trotted over to him and nuzzled gently against his side. The two shared a tired but victorious look.
Ash walked over, kneeling beside them. "You two were amazing. You didn't give up, even when it looked impossible."
"Say, Do you want to be my Pokemon? I have a dream.I want to become a Pokemon master,the best of all.But to achieve that I would need your help,so what do you think?
He reached out slowly.
Eevee looked up, hesitated—then stepped forward and pressed her forehead lightly to his palm.
Pidgey flapped once and landed on Ash's shoulder, feathers brushing his cheek.
Ash smiled, heart full. "Welcome to the team, you two."
A soft breeze passed through the trees again, the Forest seemingly offering its quiet approval.
After the Battle

The clearing was quiet now, the wind gently rustling the leaves. Ash stood still, Pidgey perched on his shoulder, Eevee curled peacefully in his arms—though clearly exhausted, both wore the soft glow of pride and trust.
But Ash's eyes weren't on them.
They were on Ekans.
The serpent Pokémon lay motionless, barely conscious—its breath shallow, body coiled loosely and trembling from the battle. It hadn't run. It hadn't attacked again. It had simply… stopped.
Ash hesitated.
He looked down at the worn vial of potion still half-full in his pouch. Part of him wavered. It attacked Eevee. It tried to hurt them.
But the stronger part—the one that burned with his aura and pulsed with the forest's blessings—knew better.
It was scared. It was hungry. It fought because it had to.
Ash stepped forward and knelt beside the Ekans. Carefully, slowly, he sprayed the potion over the worst wounds, watching as the angry red bruises and scratches faded. Ekans stirred, its eyes fluttering open.
It blinked at Ash.
He didn't flinch. "You'll be okay now," he said quietly. "Just… don't pick fights with little birds next time, alright?"
Ekans didn't hiss or strike. It simply stared, then slithered slowly back into the underbrush—silent and wary, but no longer hostile.
Ash stood and turned, taking one last look at the forest as he cradled Eevee again and adjusted his stance for Pidgey's comfort on his shoulder.
He exhaled. "Let's go."

Professor Oak's Lab – Late Morning

The journey back wasn't long, but Ash made sure to take it slow. Eevee napped softly in his arms, her breathing more stable now. Pidgey chirped quietly every now and then, watching the path.
Soon, the white dome of Professor Oak's lab appeared on the hill.
Daisy was just outside, tending to a row of small potted plants when she spotted him. "Ash? What are you doing here? School's still on—wait, are those—?"
Ash reached her, his face calm but focused. "Daisy. I need help checking them over. We handled the basics, but… I want to make sure they're okay."
He gently lowered Eevee onto the soft towel Daisy had rolled out, and Pidgey fluttered down beside her.
"They're with me now," Ash added, brushing dirt from Eevee's fur with his sleeve. "And if they're going to be my partners… then they're family."
Daisy looked at him for a moment, surprised—then smiled warmly.
"I'll get the scanner and healing items. You made the right call, Ash."
He nodded quietly and sat down beside his two new partners as Daisy began her work, the bond between trainer and Pokémon already forming—born from heart.
When Daisy was checking his Pokemons,he was startled by a sudden mechanical voice.

'Raphael whats going on I thought I can only access your missions when I become a Pokemon trainer'Ash asked in his mind.
[Ding Hidden Quest are meant to be discovered by the host himself even I don't know about them .You never tried catching a Pokemon before that's why you never achieved it] Raphael spoke gently, the golden system interface showed him his rewards.
'Aha well what ever even if I completed the quest it would not matter much if I can't travel 'Ash sighed.
'Well forget it what are the rewards from those quests ?'Ash asked Raphael after seeing a new thing called ' Mystery Token '.
[Ding The First reward is aura awakening , though it's mastery is at 0% but as long as you practice aura technique with an aura Pokemon you should be able to improve quickly]
'Ok, I get it what aura is but Raphael ,where am I gonna find an aura Pokemon so I can train it ?'
[Ding,here comes the part where' Mystery Token' plays it's part host. Mystery Token contains many rare or special Pokemons (All Original Ash's Pokemon) location host. You can directly teleport yourself there or just summon them infront of you]
'Damn it's really too much I can just sit around and I will get ton of Pokemon delivered to my door '
[Ding, But you will never improve that way Pokemon trainers become stronger by overcoming different challenges that gets in their way]Ciel,The pink interface spoke matter of factly.
[Besides the token is called the mystery Token is because you never know what you will get.You can get a strong rare Pokemon like bagon or you might end up with valley of caterpie who will never evolve] Raphael, the golden interface warned. [A/N: No offense to butterfree fans]

Ash was left speechless.

"No.Grandpa said he would be busy today"
"So there's no one coming here for a while right?" Ash asked when he closed the distance between them. Daisy was bending over infront of him trying to pick up some of the lab's equipment which she had left behind after checking up on some Pokemons from the ranch.
"I said grandpa is busy today so no one's coming he doesn't have any assistant other than me anyway "
"why are you asking that anyway? come over here and help me move these things inside."
"Ok" Ash simply agreed with a chuckle and came behind her.
