Chapter 13 - Chapter 13 – Wrath of the Divine

The sky split with roaring thunder as cursed energy and divine light clashed violently.

But this time it was different.

Gojo, smirking with blood on his lips, launched forward at blinding speed.

"We know your flaw. It's over."

Yuji followed right behind, his fists coated in layered cursed energy, eyes locked on the pulsing divine core in the Apostle's chest.

"Let's end this!"

BOOM!

Another strike.

Another Apostle fell to one knee.

Yuta summoned Rika and unleashed a devastating blast from behind. The Apostle screamed as its armor shattered, divine blood exploding like shattered glass across the battlefield.

Sukuna, bored and furious, carved glowing symbols into the ground.

"I'm tired of this dance. Time to die, insect."

He unleashed a barrage of cleaving slashes, ripping through another Apostle's wing and slicing deep into its core. It collapsed, twitching in disbelief.

The once invincible beings now fell one by one.

Geto's curses devoured another.

Todo clapped again and again, creating infinite combos.

Jogo's flames engulfed the weakest Apostle in a towering inferno.

The Apostles' formation broke.

Their numbers thinned.

Their power no longer guaranteed dominance.

They were being overwhelmed.

"Impossible… How could mortals"

One tried to speak, but Gojo appeared before it, palm glowing with deadly precision.

"Because you forgot one thing…"

"We learn."

With one final burst of cursed energy, Gojo struck directly through the core obliterating the Apostle.

The battlefield was scorched, torn by both cursed techniques and collapsing divine energy. Craters stretched across the city ruins. Smoke coiled around the sky like mourning spirits.

The remaining Apostles of Itarim floated high above, their once-immaculate forms now cracked and bleeding divine essence. Their eyes glowed no longer with serenity, but with pure rage.

"You... mortals DARE…!" one roared, divine voice shaking the air.

"You insects should not be able to touch us!" screamed another.

They raised their spears, wings unfurling in fury. A storm of light shot down from the heavens, divine magic intent on annihilation.

But…

Gojo flicked his wrist.

"Limitless: Reversal Red."

Yuji dodged and countered.

Yuta parried it with Rika.

And Sukuna, smiling cruelly, said what they were all thinking:

"You're mad because you're losing and you know it."

Another Apostle dove, aiming to crush them all with celestial force. But Todo switched positions mid-strike, and Nanami sliced through its core with pinpoint precision.

CRACK!

The Apostle froze mid-air.

Its light faded.

Boom.

Another one down.

One by one, despite their rage, the Apostles' attacks became predictable, desperate, and ultimately futile.

Their anger only made their movements easier to read.

"You've been gods for too long," Gojo said, wiping blood from his cheek.

"Now, you're just targets."

Just as Gojo prepared to finish off another Apostle, the sky cracked open not from cursed energy, but from something far older, far greater.

The Apostles of Itarim, bleeding, cornered, furious began to chant in unison. Their voices layered with cosmic resonance, vibrating across dimensions.

"From the Will of Itarim, we invoke the Divine Collapse."

The clouds turned black. The stars above vanished.

Suddenly

A blinding explosion of divine energy burst forth.

A shockwave of unimaginable force tore through the land.

Mountains crumbled.

Continents shook.

Oceans split for miles.

Reality itself bent.

Gojo's Infinity struggled to hold.

Yuji, Yuta, Sukuna, Todo, Nobara all were blasted away, unconscious in a blink.

Only two remained standing:

Kento Nanami, bleeding, coat torn, breathing heavily.

And Satoru Gojo, battered, eyes blazing with resolve.

The battlefield was silent for a moment.

Then

"Only two remain…" an Apostle growled.

"You will fall like the rest."

Gojo cracked his neck.

"We've come too far for that."

Nanami raised his blade slowly, voice calm:

"We hold the line."

And with that, it was now

Nanami & Gojo vs The Apostles of Itarim.

A mortal clash against divine fury.

The world trembled beneath divine fury. The Apostles of Itarim, hovering like celestial executioners, radiated power that bent the air itself.

Nanami stood firm, sword cracked but steady in his grip. His breath was ragged, but his eyes unshaken.

Beside him, Gojo wiped blood from his lips, his Limitless flickering but holding.

"You should have died," one Apostle hissed.

"We should have," Gojo said calmly, stepping forward,

"but we didn't."

Nanami, voice cold and focused:

"Because someone had to stay standing."

The Apostles lunged. Their movements were like lightning wrapped in divine hatred.

Boom!

Gojo vanished, reappearing mid-air infinity activated, his palm glowing with Cursed Technique Reversal: Red.

Nanami, with perfect Ratio Timing, struck an Apostle's knee clean hit.

They moved like water and fire. Precision and chaos.

For every divine blast, Gojo's domain bent it away.

For every celestial strike, Nanami found the weak point.

Together, they were holding the line.

Even the Apostles faltered in confusion.

"These mortals… should not last this long."

Gojo grinned.

"Then let's break your expectations again."

The two launched forward one last desperate counterattack.

The Apostles of Itarim unleashed another divine blast. The ground fractured. Air howled with unnatural pressure.

But Nanami didn't flinch.

He narrowed his eyes.

"1:1 Ratio."

His blade struck the Apostle's shoulder exactly at the structural weak point.

CRACK!

A shimmer of divine armor shattered.

Gojo followed instantly.

"Hollow Purple."

A swirling sphere of compressed cursed energy exploded, tearing through the exposed weakness. The Apostle shrieked as part of its body was obliterated mid-air.

They were doing the impossible.

**Nanami and Gojo**just two men were damaging the divine.

Gojo smirked mid-combat.

"Weaknesses... you really shouldn't have let Jin-Woo talk so much."

Another Apostle dove with a spear of light.

Nanami sidestepped, slashed upward Ratio Technique. Direct hit.

More cracks appeared on the Apostles' forms.

They were bleeding.

They were angry.

They were afraid.

For the first time, the Apostles of Itarim realized…

They could lose.

The battlefield was a chaotic scene of destruction. The Apostles of Itarim, once serene and godlike, now faced the unexpected: mortals human beings had defied them.

One Apostle, his wings broken, his armor cracked and leaking divine blood, fell to his knees.

"No… This… This is not how it ends…"

It whispered, eyes wide with disbelief.

The Apostles had been overwhelmed, and for the first time in countless millennia, they were no longer the ones in control. They were no longer gods.

Tears of divine energy formed at the edges of its eyes, glowing like stars in the endless void.

"Itarim, Absolute Being… Please, grant me power. I… I cannot fall here."

In the heart of the shattered heavens, a booming voice echoed through space itself. The air grew heavy with the weight of the universe.

"You are weak. You have failed. But... I will answer."

Suddenly, a surge of impossible power erupted from the sky. A great vortex of energy spiraled down into the Apostle's form. His body convulsed violently as the Absolute Being infused him with a fraction of its unimaginable might.

The Apostle's broken body healed in an instant. His wounds vanished, his power amplified beyond any mortal comprehension.

"Yes…" the Apostle whispered, trembling, but now consumed by the power granted by the Absolute Being.

"Now… Now I am invincible."

His form grew, twisting into a colossal being, larger than any mortal could comprehend. His eyes burned with a fiery, alien glow.

---

Meanwhile, on the battlefield

"Gojo… Nanami…?"

Yuji's voice cracked as he stirred, slowly waking.

"Where… are we?"

Yuta sat up next to him, his eyes darting around, confused but still determined.

One by one, the others regained consciousness. Sukuna, Todo, Jogo, and the rest of the group slowly rose, wiping the blood from their faces.

"We're still here," Gojo muttered, standing tall, his cursed energy beginning to flicker back to full strength.

"We didn't win yet. We fight until the end."

Nanami, still recovering from his exhaustion, rose beside Gojo.

"We need to keep pushing. We can't let them regain their full strength."

The Apostles of Itarim had regained their form, but now the humans had gathered their will to fight once more.

"It's time," Gojo said, eyes narrowing,

"Let's finish this."

The Apostles of Itarim, now imbued with godlike power, stared down at the humans they had once dismissed as insects. They were no longer just an annoyance they were a final test.
