Chapter 5 - Worldly Reaction

One of them started speaking but they all began to say together with their voice as grave as it could be.

"There is an Ancient Prophecy: The Celestial Blade, while powerful, carried a curse. It was said that those who wielded it would either fall to madness or lose their strength, depending on their heart's purity.

Xian Li, in his arrogance and anger, laughed off their warnings. He had been the one to conquer all, and no curse could claim him.

But as the days went on, strange things began to happen. His energy started to fluctuate—his once effortless power now required immense concentration. The strength he once wielded so naturally now seemed to slip from his fingers like sand. In moments of anger, his blade would falter, and his enemies—who were once beneath him—began to challenge him.

It was then that Xian Li felt it. A weight in his chest. An invisible force, like a binding chain, tightening around him. His connection to the Celestial Blade was becoming unstable. The more he used it, the more his life force drained away. And yet, he could not stop. He had given everything to the blade—how could he live without it?

For example,

One day, he, while practicing his swordsmanship, encountered a bottleneck which he had already overcame.

While cultivating, he began to have inner demons.

He would wolf down the food in front of him even if it produced impurities to his body.

These kind of 'things' started which were eventually becoming more frequent.

So, he decided to call a Spiritual Healer (Doctor). Of course, the Healer he called was not an ordinary healer but a renowned Spiritual Healer, The Sect Leader of the Heavenly Spirit Sect, Master Zhi.

But to his disappointment, he did not get any results. Master Zhi simply said that there was no problem with his trichotomy (body, soul and spirit respectively.)

Soon, news got out about his weakened state causing an uproar among his enemies.

Martial Sect.

This sect is one of the Three Giants Of Immortal Realm. These sects are the most powerful in the entire realm. Of course, these sects were not the only one who were considered the strongest. There were 3 Families and 2 Academies. Together, they made the Highest Echelon of the realm.

At the center of The Martial Sect which was spread across 25 billion square feet, here was a Large Pavilion of height more than 1540 feet.

Inside the pavilion sat a group of people with extraordinary auras. The man at the center had a grin on his face. One could clearly see his new found happiness on his face which had always remained indifferent even in the face of good news.

He lightly said," Xian Li, your end is near."

Sunboar Sect.

This sect was rather..... different.

This sect was like a group of heretics. They worshipped a wild boar...A WILD BOAR!!!

Just because of a coincidence that their ancestor saw a wild boar sleeping. When the sun rose, the boar was coincidently at the center of the sun causing the imaginations of their ancestor to go wild. This was the 'legend' and hence the name.

There was a similar situation here except for the discipline. Everyone in this sect was like a hooligan and even the elders and the Sect Master were no exception.

There was absolutely no order here.

This happened in not only the other three families and one academy but also in other big sects and families which were, though not as good as the the main sects and families, considered very strong.

However, there were two exceptions.

The Peak Sect and The Phoenix Mist Academy.

The Phoenix Mist Academy was in good terms with him because he had once helped one of their Head Teachers during a life-threatening situation.

While this wasn't the case for The Peak Sect.

Xian Li was once a disciple of The Peak Sect, slowly rising from a outer sect disciple to becoming one of the Core Elders of the sect. Later he left the sect for more adventures but was considered an Ancestor of the sect. There were two more Ancestors beside him who were the previous Sect Masters of the Sect.

Therefore, he was considered a backing of the sect.

Now that he was officially recognized The Strongest, This Sect was naturally considered the Strongest. They were the uncrowned rulers of the Immortal Realm.

...

At The Immense Palace of The Unparalleled One,

This Palace was owned by Xian Li and made according to him by renowned architects and builders. He had lived here for 30 years and it took 15 years to build it. There were countless people working in here to maintain it. The Palace was the largest house in the entire Immortal Realm.

After arriving in front of the gate, one could see many breathtaking and mesmerizing scenes.

The Immense Palace of The Unparalleled One stands tall, its spires reaching beyond the clouds, glowing with golden light. Its walls are made of shimmering crystal, reflecting colors like sapphire and jade. Floating platforms drift in the air, connected by glowing bridges, while gardens bloom with star-like flowers that change colors. The sky above swirls with cosmic auroras, casting a magical glow. Inside, the throne room is huge, with a throne made of stardust, floating on a dark pedestal. It's a place of pure, otherworldly beauty, where everything feels like it's straight out of a dream.

Xian Li was training at an open ground covered by many high tiered formations. However, they were not for his protection but to protect surroundings from getting destroyed. This was the power of Xian Li!

Suddenly, 2 person came leisurely flying towards the palace, with thunder announcing their arrival.

One of them wore a Yellow robe with bright golden lines and grand boar on his back indicating that he came from the Sun boar sect, one of the Three Giants of the Immortal Realm.

He was none other than The ferocious Sect Master of The Sun boar sect, known for his mad fighting spirit with his raw physical power just a step away from reaching the pinnacle.

The other person was the Sect Leader of the Martial Sect. He wore a Royal blue robe with stripes of various colors and the mark of Martial Sect laying at the back of it.

They both had come for a single purpose: Spar!
