Episode 1: The Myth
Finally, the dawn... How long had it been since I saw the sun? You did it, Tanim. Finally, you brought it to an end — from the day when it all started.
Grandma was telling stories to her grandchildren. She leaned in close to the circle of children.
"They say there was a young man, named Vashkar" she began, "a doctor by profession. But out of nowhere… he went mad. He used to run around the village screaming, 'He's going to kill us all! We're all going to die!'"
"Other times, he'd sit like a scholar — calm and haunted — trying to make people listen. And this… is the story he told everyone."
"One day, Liaqat went fishing in the haor. But instead of fish, he found a woman's body floating near the reeds."
"She was pregnant."
"He didn't think twice — he pulled her from the water and brought her home."
"That's when they called me to check on her. I'm telling you, the girl was in a coma. Her survival rate was near zero. But still, she was breathing. Also, her heart rate and blood flow were all good. One month later, a miracle happened — she woke up."
"I told them the child would be born next month. I promised I'd come back the next day to check her again. But that was the last time I ever saw them."
"The next day, I went to Liaqat's villa… and there was blood everywhere. The walls, the floors… stained red. But it wasn't just blood...*(Doctor's eyes full of fear like he is seeing a ghost in front of his eyes)*
...There was something else — thick, black liquid, like the blood of darkness… splattered all over the room where the girl — Tumpa — was being treated."
"And then... I saw him."
"I saw him with my own eyes! The child. He was sitting there, fully covered in that black-colored blood... No older than a newborn, but not human."
"His eyes… they weren't eyes. They were death itself. Pitch black eyes — like they could suck your soul in."
"I'm telling you the truth. Don't disbelieve me! He's a demon. A pure demon… A DEMON CHILD."
