"Shepard! Shepard, you need to wake up!" My eyes shot open and I was in pain. "Shepard, you need to put on the armor. It's in the locker in front of you." I got off the bed and nearly tripped. I walked over to the locker. I began to put on the armor and found it fit perfectly to me. Memories began to flood my system.I pull a pistol from the magnetic holster on the wall of the locker, it's full? "Shepard, you need to get out of there."
I nodded and moved out. I begin to remember more about myself.. And Shepard. I lived for 32 years before I died. Shepard was the year older before he died. I felt like my sides were being pulled apart. I was almost dizzy with how much it hurts. I saw my/his reflection in the weirdly shiny wall. I saw myself but also my Shepard.
Not only was he my Shepard. He looks a lot like me but healthier. With deep black hair and blue eyes, though his skin was paler. "Shepard, get behind cover." Instinct took over and I slid behind the medical station. The side door exploded and then I was under attack. The pistol actually had ammo so I popped out to fire a few shots. I suddenly had a memory of a 10th St Red teaching me to actually shoot. I managed to down one of the Loki Mechs. It explodes a few seconds later.
I took out the others with similar results. I breathed a sigh of relief as it was over. I looked at the mechs and got the brilliant idea to download the mechs memory cores. I moved out, killed over a dozen mechs and downloaded the mechs. I even picked up the SMG from one of the bodies. I made my way to where the grenade launcher was. "Shepard, pick up that grenade launcher." I lift the launcher up and aim for the door. The moment it started to open I fired.
It took two shots to destroy the squad of Mech. It caused the pipe near the door to explode and spout flames. I took the elevator down and ran through the fire. I shield my face just to be safe, I barely felt the heat. It was odd to see the Kinetic barriers flare up. Shepard had done every quest and not only that he used a Paragade mentality. I then found a terminal to let me access the network.
I began to look for one of the few things that would help me in the future. "Shepard, we don't have time for you to search our net." I ignored her, Miranda is bound to be freaking out because I haven't spoken to her. I found two things. First was my clone, second was the lazarus process.
My clone happens to be on the station. I then started to move to it. My first obstacle was that multiple doors were locked down. I then, for the first time, use my biotic powers. I gripped at the doors and I pulled the door open. I continued to pull doors open and soon I found a Medical Storage room. I found my clone and he appears to be in a similar tank like the one that Grunts was in. I put him on a trolly and began to move him towards the shuttles.
Several times I had to focus on shielding him and fighting the mechs. Soon I was getting close, and I stopped by Jacob and Wilson. Jacob looks relieved to see me. "Shepard, We need to get you to the shuttles." I pointed my gun at Wilson and shot him in the head.
"The fuck?!" I pointed the pistol at him. He didn't have time to react to me. He raised his hands, I then holstered the pistol. "I've been downloading memory cores from the Mechs. They received a code from him to begin killing everyone to stop me from waking up. He looked surprised at that, of course. "He shouldn't have sec. Fuck (sigh) It doesn't matter now, we need to get you out of here." I nodded, and pointed at my clone. "You push, I'll defend." He nods and we head to the shuttles.
After a few minutes of clearing mechs left and right. I had enough data on them that I no longer gathered their cores. Though ammo was always gathered. I told Jacob to protect the clone at all cost. His solution? He used his biotics to shield him. I have to admit that I was surprised at that. But it didn't matter in the end. We opened the door and saw Miranda waiting on us.
Soon I was loading my clone up in the shuttle. Miranda wasn't happy, "I can't believe that you risk your life for a vegetable. You're too valuable to do that." I sat down in the shuttle, I looked at her. "I wasn't going to leave him there, he could be useful." Miranda grimaced at me. "It's a Donor Body, It's meant to be used to save your life." I shrugged.
She sighs as Jacob gets into the Pilot Seat. We take off and head out into the stars. "Now Shepard, My name is Miranda Lawson and that's Jacob Taylor. I need to ask you several questions." I nod, "What's the last thing you remember?" "Getting spaced, getting attacked by a mismatched ship with asteroids attached to it."
She nodded, and typed a few things into her Omni-Tool. "Now let's go further back. Do you remember the Battle of the Citadel?" I nodded again, "Killed Saren, Sacrificed Council to kill Sovereign. Promoted Anderson to Councilor." She looks like she is hoping for something else. She then looked up at me, "It's been two years since your death." I looked out the shuttle window and sighed.
"What has been happening since I died?" She pulls something up on her Tool. "After your death, The Alliance began to move differently. They managed to change the Treaty of Farixen to allow all council members the same amount of Dreadnoughts. While associated members were allowed 6 dreadnoughts each." I leaned back and sighed as I motioned for her to continue. "Not only that, Anderson got the punishment law on the Quarians, Turn over, and just to get on the Turians good side. They became a client race for the Alliance."
I smiled at that, I've always liked those stories that got the Quarians a new home before the shit hit the fan. She continued on, "The Quarians now have an embassy with the humans. Anderson also asked Krogan to join the Clienthood, this was a year after your death, but Chief Urdnot Wrex declined the offer but said he'll think about it." Figures Wrex would be the cautions type
I nodded, "What about the rest of the Normandy Crew? Where did they go after my death?" She pulled up another screen, " Both Ashely Williams and Kaidan Alenko, Happily married and on and off assignments. Liara T'soni is now an Information Broker, She is looking for the Shadow Broker. Though other sources say that she working for him"
"Tali'Zorah is currently acting Commander of a Squad that still goes out to find useful tech. While Garrus is missing, Last known location is Omega. As I mentioned Wrex is now a Chieftain, Making a Clan alliance between the Strongest of the Clans. With little ones either being absorbed or dying off."
I hear the Shuttle come out of FTL. We landed within a few minutes of arriving. A team of technicians came to take care of my clone. "Please transport him to the new SR-2." They move him to the nearest elevator, Miranda shakes her head, "How did you even know about that." I smirked at her as I moved forward, "You think spending billions on bringing one man back from the dead, wouldn't give him a ship to help him fix your problems."
She then leads me to another elevator and we head up to meet TIM. I walked into the room with the hologram floor thing. Soon the Holo-Screen rises up and changes to a view of Sean Bean in front of me. "Greetings Shepard, I think we have much to discuss."
"Illusive Man, I guess it was too much to hope we'd meet face to face." He nods, "Yes indeed. Now let's get down to it. Human colonies are disappearing and the System Alliance isn't bothering sending help." He takes a drag on his cigarette as an image of a world comes up, "Freedom's Progress is the latest to go offline. I want you to go and investigate it."
I nodded "Give me the rundown of what's been happening." He nods as he types on his screen. "Over the last two years the number of human colonies along the Terminus borders have been disappearing. The official story is pirates. Unofficially we believe it's the Reapers."
I looked at the world for a second or two. "I need a full armament, on the way there I would like to study the Andromeda Initiative Experimental tech. Also I would like to download the latest combat tech for all 'classes.'" He nods, "I believe Operative Lawson already told you what happened to your crew and the state of the Alliance?"
I nodded and he took another drag, "Weapons can be picked up in the main room. Everything else shall be sent to you within the hour." He snuffed out the cigarette and stood up. "Shepard I don't know what you'll find at Freedom's Progress but I know you won't let me down. Hopefully you'll find more answers then the Alliance and the Citadel. Good Luck." I turned and walked out. I headed to the Weapons Locker and began to pimp myself up. I got all the starter weapons. Avenger, Viper, Predator, Katana, and the Grenade Launcher. For tech powers I got every Soldier, Infiltrator and Engineer abilities.
However the Biotic side was a bunch of instructional videos. Shepard already knew how to do both ME1's and ME2's set of Bio-Powers. Some ME3 and Andromeda's Power set is out there but the Vids should teach me how in no time.
I changed my armor a bit. The N7 stripe was still on my right arm. Though on my left shoulder was the Paragade symbol. The lights were changed to blue. I also got another Omni-Tool, With every conceivable type of blade, shield, and hacking program. Another thing I added was the Archon Visor. I changed the color to match the Lights.
I also found that not only can you give your regular weapons Ammo Bonuses but you can do the same to both launchers. After I was done, I went to talk to the My XO and Chief of Security. Miranda was typing something on her keyboard.
"Shepard, Is there something you need?" I sigh a bit, "Miss Lawson, is there a reason for the cat suit?" She chuckled, and turned to me. "This 'cat suit' is made of a flexible polymorphic fabric that hardens when in combat. Not only that it boosts my own tech and biotic powers." I shook my head, "I still want you to put on armor." She sighed, "Shepard, there is no need for me to put on armor. I'm not going to get injured on the job."
I can hear the condescending tone of her voice, "Operative Lawson, If this is Reapers then I want you to have a better chance at survival then a Asari Madain." She grimaces, "Commander with all do respect I know how to handle myself out in the field." I folded my arms across my chest. "Go put on Armor. That's an order." Her eyes widened slightly but she had control over her surprise. "Yes sir."
Jacob turns to me with a smirk, "Damn Shepard, I didn't think anyone could do that to her." I half shrugged, "She's used to getting her way. I wouldn't be surprised if she ran away from home in First Class." He shook his head. "Miranda's been through a lot. She has her scars." I nodded, "So do I and I bet you do too." He smirked and sighed, "I do, I was at Eden Prime when the Geth hit, Got injured enough that a squad of Cerbbies took pity on me and saved me. Next thing I know I was recruited."
That's different from the Canon, I mean beside what I am and will be doing. I motion him to continue, "I guess you want a bit of background? Well Mom was Doctor on the Citadel, she moved to the Quarian Colony when it got set up and Pops is now a retired old Corsair." Oh thank god he's starting to not sound like a stereotype.
"How long has he been retired? If I may ask?" He thinks for a bit, "About 12 years by now. He's with Mom right now, They're two of 150 humans on New Rannoch. He acts like the Neighborhood's Grandfather, keeps sending me pics of his GrandKids." He smiles in fondness, "How bout you Shepard? What was your family like?"
I shrugged, "I grew up poor, on Earth. In the slums of New York. Stole to eat and did everything to survive. When I was 13 I killed my first man, 14 I joined a gang and for three years It was pretty good until a group of soldiers came into the bar I was working at. Started to harass the girls. I couldn't let that stand. Beating the hell out of them was a good time. Though it stopped when Anderson told them to get up and out."
I could feel the memories playing in my head. I can remember every punch and every kick. "Then he proceeded to kick my ass. Saying that I could do a lot of good with myself. I owe him big time for that." Jacob nods, "Yeah I hear that. Dad was part of the Corsairs and taught me how to take care of myself in case something happened to him, out in a bout. Was thinking about joining until Eden Prime happened."
I check the time on my Omni-Tool. "You best get on some armor too. I don't want to drag your ass out of hell till we're ready to dive feet first." He nods and salutes me. And heads off. A few minutes later they both came back. Miranda was wearing her DLC Armor while Jacob was a copy of mine. Black with yellow highlights as well with a Cerberus symbol wear the N7 would go.
"Okay I need you both to carry full gear." Miranda shakes her head. "It'll only weigh us down Shepard, we need to get moving before the authorities get there." I hold up a hand. "I do believe the Illusive Man put me in charge. So go and at least get a shotgun." They both went to the weapons rack and she brought back a shotgun. While Jacob got the rest of the weapons. I nodded and we stepped onto the shuttle and head to Freedom's Progress
On the way to the Colony I read about the tech that would later help the Ryder Pathfinder. Already I manage to have the Multi drones from ME3. I program my Tool to automatically set the Tech armor to turn on from the start. I also manage to include the Fortification to turn on after the Tech Armor fails. Jacob is checking his equipment, while Miranda is looking over the Map.
I just thought of something. "What rank am I?" They both looked up and then at each other. Miranda clears her throat. "A few months after your death you were posthumously given the rank of Captain. Though the Quarians have asked, that you be given the rank of Admiral. This has been shot down for the most part."
I nodded, "Are you two gonna be okay with taking orders from me?" They nod with Jacob speaking up next. "We both know the importance of the Mission. We'll follow your orders to the letter." We hear an alarm go off, I look to Miranda, "Show me a map of the Colony." She puts up a display.
I was looking for the place where Veetor would be. I found it quite easily, mostly because I saw the Heavy mech next to it. "Will land here on top of this building. Jacob and I will hit the YMIR Mech with the heavy weapons. Lawson you are going to hit it as many times with an overload while you get to cover. Jacob will bank left while I head forward. Remember to keep your heads down."
They nodded, and we felt the shuttle enter the atmosphere. I pull off the Grenade Launcher and dial a Disruption ammo while Jacob loads up an Inferno ammo. The shuttle stops suddenly and the door opens. I auto-locked onto the Mech. And began to fire with everything I had in the Launcher. Each shot hit on the mark. Jacob firing just as much and hitting their target with a small puff of fire.
The electricity is arcing around its body, I rushed forward ducking behind some cover. Miranda is flanking the mech. Jacob is hitting it with his launcher till he puts it away in favor of his rifle. I put away my launcher and begin to bring about as many drones I can. Two Combat drones fly on either side of me, while my Drone Turret opens fire on it with four minor holo drones flying around to distract it.
They swarm the mech, I pull my rifle and start to fire. But by then it was over, it fell over and died. I began to walk to the door that leads to the Veetor. But a group of alliance marines came in. Miranda and Jacob raised their weapons. I raised my hands then heard a 'familiar voice.' "Captain Shepard, Back from the dead it seems."
A Quarian woman steps from behind the men. She's not wearing a helmet. I step forward, "Tali?" She nods, "It's been a while. Is there a reason that you're alive and working for Cerberus?" I sighed, "I was dead Tali, been dead for two years. Barely awake for two days, Cerberus put me together to put a stop to the colonies disappearing."
She turned to the Squad, "Secure the area, make sure nobody sneaks up on us." I turned to my squad. "Salvage the Data Core from the mech." We began to move to where Veetor was. The door opened and it was dark beside the orange screens. And right in front of them is Veetor. "Gotta hide, they'll find me. I see them, they don't see him." Tali spoke up, "Veetor, are you okay?" He ignores us. I looked around to see if anything was useful.
Shaking my head, I raised my hand and disabled the screens. He looked around in shock then he turned around. "Commander you're here?" I turned to Tali, she shrugged, "Promotion. Veetor you were supposed to return to New Rannoch months ago. Then the colony goes off line, what happened?" He shakes slightly as Tali rubes his arms.
He looks at us, then to the screens. "You didn't see, But I saw." The screens came online and this time showed me what I needed. It showed the Collectors putting people into pods while some others were put onto spikes. "Dragon's Teeth? Thought that was Geth Tech?" I shook my head, "It appears Reaper." Veetor stammers again. "T-they came and took everyone, they didn't get me, they couldn't find me. I don't want them to come back and get me." Tali hugs him. "It's okay Veetor, You're safe now. We'll take you home."
"Tali I need that data, Would you object to me taking his Omni-Tool?" She nods and takes it from him. She turned to me, "It's good to see Shepard, Tell me you'll leave Cerberus after you're done." I nodded "I don't plan on staying till the end of this mission." She hands the Tool to me. I held her hand a bit longer than necessary.
We walked out and my team entered the shuttle. A few hours later I was in front of TIM again. "Well Captain, I wasn't sure about how you handled the mission but it was done quickly and efficiently. As expected, Now that we know the Collectors are involved, you'll need a team and ship." I raised my hand, "Did you suspect them?" He nods, "I suspect that it was either the Collectors or the Batarians. I was honestly hoping it was the latter."
I looked at him questioning, "The Collectors are an Unknown entity, They live past the Omega 4 Relay. No one who goes through ever returns. At best you'll be going on a suicide mission. At worst…" He left that hanging in the air. I nodded. "Is it possible for you to send a few dozen crates of mechs? I want something to do while we zoom across." He nods, as he makes the order.
"I know that my old team is busy. Do you have a number of recruits?" He nodded and I got a dossier on those that'll join. "Your mission is to stop the Collectors at all cost, I don't know how you'll do it. But knowing your record and what you've achieved you will not disappoint."
"I assume the ship I'm using is similar to the Normandy?" An Image appears on the screen next to him."I also acquired a pilot that I believe you'll find fitting." The screen goes out and I turn to my pilot; Jeff 'Joker' Moreau. "Hey Commander, I mean Captain. Heh Been a long time." I smiled, "Are you still infected? Remember I can't have you infecting my crew."
He laughed, and I went up and hugged him. "Ow careful man, I'm not wearing armor." I let him and give him a slight pat on the shoulder. "I can't believe you're back, Captain. I mean, I saw you get spaced." I shrugged, "It's a surprise for me too. I'm just glad that I am back. And now I got the best pilot in the Universe back with me."
"In the universe huh? I can get behind that." He smiled as we stopped in front of a row of windows. Lights came on and we saw her, SR-2 Normandy. Slick and ready for command. I grimace, "We need to change the paint. And the Cerby Symbol." He nods, "We can do that when we get out of here."
We walked into the ship waiting for me was Miranda, "Captain, Welcome to the Normandy. On this mission I'll be your XO, Jacob will be Chief of Security. Our first stop should be looking for the Salarian Doctor. Mordin Solus. He should be able to figure out a way to shield us from the Collector swarm." I shaked my head, "We'll head to the Citadel. I need to get my Spectre Status. Though I won't get paid by them, I can still use the status."
A voice came through on the Comms, "The Vigilante known as Archangel is currently facing a combined force of the main gangs on the Omega Station and Doctor Solus is dealing with a life-threatening plague." So not like the Game, I nod, "Joker take us out and head to Omega, If their lives are in danger when to help them out." "Ay ay Captain." I turned around to see a blue hologram.
"Greeting Captain Shepard, I am EDI, The Normandy's AI Program." I nod, "Glad to have you, Did The Illusive Man send what I wanted." "Yes they are in the Cargo Hold now. Please take the elevator down to the bottom floor." I head down there. I looked around and it looked like the Mass Effect 3 hangar bay. And I see about a dozen large crates full of the Mechs. I guess he went with a large bulk buy. I begin to move them out and take them apart.
"EDI, Please notify me when we make port." "Of course Shepard." As I put together New Mechs, I go over what happened in the last 48 plus hours. I died and was brought back as Shepard. I fought my way through Station of overrun mechs. Kill a man, Kill a bunch of mechs. Met Tali saved Veetor. Then I 'remembered' Shepard's past.
Shepard didn't romanced anybody. But he did the Loyalty Missions, Garrus was hardened, Tali got the Geth Data and was urged to look for a better way. Wrex got his armor and was convinced on Virmire. Ashley and Kadian survived because Shepard decided not to allow them to go with Captain Kirrahi. It resulted in his death.
Manage to save Terra Nova, and during and let Balak go to save the Colonist. On Virmire he spared Rana. He killed Fist though.. Though that wasn't as important. Now with Knowledge of what's going to happen, I can actually work my imagination into reality. I created several beefed up Mech LOKIs and turned most of the FENRIS Mech into Big Dog bots. They look like Mabari's from Dragon age.
Though the LOKIs are bigger, I'm not going to send them off to die and explode. "EDI? Can you have some spare crewmen bring down about 10 full sets of armors? I would very much like to get this ready before we dock." She chimed on my Tool. "Of course, Shepard. We will be docking within 4 hours."
A few minutes later they came down. Kenneth and Gaberilla came in, pushing a Cart full of armor. I got up and wiped my hands. They saluted, I saluted back. "I'm guessing you two are my engineers?" They nodded, and Kenneth spoke up.
"It's a Right Honor to be meeting you Captain. If you need anything else from us please don't be afraid to ask." Gab speaks up. "What he says, Though I got to ask Shepard what's with the Mechs?" I smiled, "Start putting the armor onto them. They are our back up in the field. What kind of armor did you guys get?"
Ken started to fish out some of them. I place the ones that have a screen instead of an actual helmet to the side. The Blood dragon armor was put on the first bot. I then changed its designation to Warden. Next is the Cerberus Assault armor. Named Tank.
The inferno armor was called Dante. Kestrel was named Kestrel. Same for Terminus. Cerberus Engineer armor was dubbed Ajax. The Reckoner Knight armor is now Paladin. The rest was named after the Cerberus Nightmare, Shade and Spirit armor. With EDI's help we got them a program to follow orders.
Though not to just rush in and get killed. Now the Dogbots will have to get new names. I got about 12 of them. I'll think of something later. Though the first one will be called Barkspawn.. Botspawn? Oh Cousland. I look over to the Kodiaks, Both are able to hold a full team.
I turn to Ken and Gab, "Hey, do we have more of these armors?" Gab thinks about it for a minute. "All Cerberus owned armors, about three sets. Terminus armor we only had the one, though the Schematics are within the system. The Dragon and Knight armor are available anywhere you can buy it."
Ken chuckles, "Yeah we thought it would be fun to have them. Then the Eggheads began to fiddle with 'em." I think about it, "EDI Tell Jacob to have the Cerberus Assault Armor as his official armor and Miranda can choose between the Ghost armors." "Of course Shepard. We will be docking within 20 minutes." I nod to Ken and Gab, "I need you to get them standard weapons and load the Mech Squad onto one of the shuttles."
They nod and I head up to the Captain's Cabin. After a shower, I put on armor and weapons. I went down to the command deck and saw my yeoman. She turned and smiled. "Hello Shepard, I'm Kelly Chambers, I'll be you Yeoman." I nodded, "Hello Kelly, How's the crew doing so far?"
She smiled, "Excited, nervous and scared. They all know this might be a one way trip. So they're all worried that they might not come back. But knowing you, tells them there is a chance of them coming back." I nodded and we can hear the docking clamps attach themselves to the Normandy.
"I better get going, We'll talk again when we get back." She nodded, and I headed to the Airlock. Miranda and Jacob were waiting for me, along with Cousland. The door began to cycle through decontamination, it ended after a minute and we headed out and immediately the smell was there.
And of course the Salarian was there. "H-hey you must be new here I can always tell. I-" Then the Batarian came to me. "Oh hey Mogra, I was just." He pointed back where they came, "Beat it." The Salarian saluted, "Of course, whatever she wants." He runs off.
Mogra looks to me, "Aria wants to know what brings a dead Spectre to Omega." I nod, "I'll head there right away. I'm guessing it's going to be right outside of this particular airlock?" He nods, and moves aside. We move on and we see Zaeed kicking his latest bounty.
Miranda speaks up, "Shepard that is Zaeed Massani. He is one of the potential recruits." I walked up to him. "Zaeed Massani? I'd like to recruit you for a mission." He kicks the poor sod again. "Ah Shepard, I wonder when you'll show up."
He turns to me, "Did your Illusive Man tell you what I like in exchange for this mission?" I shake my head, "I like to clear out the Zoria Mining Facility of the Blue Suns." I nodded, "We can do that after we get more people on our team" The Batarian got up and ran for the club. Zaeed shot him from the hip.
"Now that is cleared up, I better deliver this thing before it stinks." I nodded, "Meet us at the Afterlife when you're done." I head to the Club and notice just how big Omega is. Miranda scoffs, "Omega, what a pisshole, everytime I come here I feel like I need about eight showers and a level 2 decontamination." I moved on to the club. Surprisingly the Elcor stopped us, "With annoyance: Please head to the back of the line. Afterlife is for those who can afford us."
"My name is Captain Shapard. I was told to head to Aria." He looks at his eye piece. "Reluctance: You may enter, please behave." I walk in and head to the other side. The Batarian group eyed me with a grimace. I continued walking. The moment the door opened I felt the music. Lucky the headset I was wearing deafen most of it.
I head up to Aria's Booth. A batarian stops me, "Hold on up, Scanning for weapons." I shrugged, "You don't have to look hard, I'm carrying an arsenal." Aria speaks up, "Can be too careful with dead Spectres." She turns to us. "I'm Aria T'loak, CEO of Omega. Or if you are feeling old Fashioned, Queen of Omega. There is only one rule on Omega, Don't Fuck With Me."
"That seems simple enough, I need information on the vigilante known as Archangel. As well as a Salarian Professor: Mordin Solus." She nods and waves to her couch. I go to sit, "Mordin is currently in a quarantine zone. While Archangel is currently fighting off three of the Major Gangs on the Station."
I nod and gesture for her to continue, "You have the Blue Suns, Yellow Eclipse, and the Blood Pack. At the moment they are in a Stalemate with Archangel. Last I heard he was with two others. You can probably get 'hired' by the recruiting station down in the club."
I nodded, "What can you tell me about Archangel?" She shrugged slightly, "Turian, sniper, and has a habit of pissing off the whole station. Though he stayed away from my operations." I looked at the others and they nodded. "And what of Mordin?" she smiles, "I like him, just as likely to heal as to put a bullet in you. It's more than likely that he's a former STG." I stood up with a nod, "I'll be back." She smirked, "We'll see."
When I got down to the club Zaeed was at the bar. He turns to me, "Ready to kill some bastards?" I smirked, and we headed out of the club. "EDI, can you find Archangels hideout?" "Unfortunately the hideout has jammers placed to 'cloak' its location. However I do see a convergence of a large number of the members of the Three Gangs. As well as a number of lesser gangs and mercenaries." I thought for a moment, "Can you get me a schematic of the building using cameras and old maps?"
There was a brief pause, "I have compiled the data, showing you now." I look at the building plans, similar to the game, there are several underground warehouses that make up the bottom level. "EDI have the Shuttle of newly armored mech meet us at the straightforward warehouse in the middle. Also send the other shuttle to us."
"Of course Shepard." I turn to the others, "Archangel is in need of reinforcements. We're going to come out of nowhere and support him and anybody that needs it." Miranda nods, "The shuttle should be here in a moment or two."
The Kodiak appears a moment later. We board it and I see that several of the Upgraded FENRIS mechs were on board. Better name them now. I pointed left to right. "Cadash, Howe, Trevelyan, and Stark. Everyone, Cousland is your Alpha." They gave a robotic woof sound. The shuttle was taking winding through the underspires of Omega. Soon we approached the main Warehouse.
We got out and I saw the New Mechs waiting. Each of them has Standard weapons. As well as the Heavy Weapons. "Alright everyone, let's move out and get up there. Warden, Paladin, and Terminus. You'll head to the right side of these warehouses and close them. While the Ghost team will head to the left side and close that door. Both of your teams are to close the doors and disable them."
They nodded and they ran to their destinations. "Everyone else, we're heading up and it's about to get Hot. Tank, Ajax, Dante and Kestrel will hold the bottom floor. The hounds will join you as well." We turned and began to run forwards.
Once everyone was out of the middle Warehouse I closed the door and disabled the lock. "EDI can you warn Archangel of our coming to help?" "Message sent." We ran up the stairs and burst into the bottom floor. "Get into positions now!" I ran up to the top floor, and saw him, his armor had dents and scratches. "Archangel?" He raises a finger, and fires at an unsuspecting guard on the other side of the bridge.
He gets up and goes to sit on the side of the couch. And takes off his helmet. "Been a while, Shepard." I smiled, "Garrus you bastard, how have you been?" He chuckled, "I've been better, though I wasn't expecting a full squad to come to my rescue. Are you men ready for the assault?"
I shrugged, "Most of the Squad are Mechs, Repurposed and upgraded. As well as giving them new armors. And actual good combat programs" He nods, and walks to the back room. I follow and see the last remaining member of his team. A Batarian, "Hey Javian, are you ready to get out of here?" He coughs, "As soon as I throw my last grenade." I look at him and his legs are torn to shreds.
"Miranda, Stabilize him, Zaeed, get your sniper out and defend with Garrus. Jacob you're going to lay suppression fire on anybody that's coming over the Bridge." "Shepard the Teams you sent are heading up to you." I smiled.
"Have the Ghost Team come up here to snipe the enemy. While the Warden's team will support the lower floor." Garrus gets up and heads to the opening. "Well now, You've come prepared haven't you. They must be freaking out now." I pull my rifle out, "Let's get this show on the road."
