Synopsis
Lin Xian was just an ordinary man—a regular office worker who had just been promoted to manager. He dreamed of a simple life: a modest home, a personal car, and peaceful days with the one he loved. But one seemingly normal afternoon at work, everything changed. A massive earthquake shook the earth, and the clear blue sky revealed an impossible sight—three suns hanging side by side. One shone yellow, radiating its usual warmth. One froze the air with an icy blue light. And one burned the sky blood-red, filled with a murderous intent that sent shivers down the spine. From that day forward, the world changed. Flora, fauna—even humans—began to mutate beyond logic and reason. The earth became a slaughterhouse. Amid the chaos and panic, Lin Xian awakened a mysterious superpower: A golden chain—capable of destruction, restraint, or protection, depending on his will. Now, in a world turned upside down, Lin Xian must survive. But one question haunts him: What really happened to the world? Thank You for Reading! Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 Three Suns in the Sky

Lin Xian sat at his desk, leaning back in his comfortable leather chair.

Outside the window, the blue sky stretched out clearly, and the gentle breeze brought fresh air into the room.

It was a typical day—just like most other days.

The work at the software development company was nothing new to him.

Every day, he faced his computer screen, typing code, checking emails, and attending meetings that seemed endless.

However, today was a bit different.

After years of hard work, Lin Xian finally received the news he had been waiting for.

He had just been promoted to manager.

A significant achievement that many people dream of.

However, despite this, the feeling he had was more of relief than happiness.

His simple dreams of a small house, a personal car, and a peaceful life with someone he loved seemed to be getting closer.

Lin Xian smiled faintly, looking at his colleagues who were busy with their own tasks.

He could feel the pride slowly flowing within him.

But at the same time, a sense of emptiness began to fill his heart. Is this really what he wanted? Will his career truly bring him the happiness he was seeking?

His thoughts were interrupted when a strong tremor shook the desk in front of him.

Lin Xian stared at his computer screen, which began to flicker. The sound of footsteps outside grew faster.

Something strange was happening.

An earthquake!

A loud crash from the floor above sounded like a massive thud.

A tremendous vibration shook the entire building.

Lin Xian staggered but tried to stay steady, reminding himself to remain calm.

Someone near him shouted in a panic:

"Quick, get out! This isn't an ordinary earthquake! We have to run!"

The employees began to panic and ran toward the exit, but Lin Xian stood still, his eyes fixed on the window.

He saw an unusual light that caught his attention.

The sky outside suddenly changed.

From the usually calm blue, three suns appeared hanging in the sky.

Each sun shone in a different way, creating an impossible sight.

The first sun, which looked ordinary, shone with warm yellow light, giving a sense of familiarity and safety.

The second sun emitted a cold blue light that seemed to pierce the skin, making the air around Lin Xian feel eerie.

But the most striking was the third sun—red as blood, blazing with a fierce heat, emanating a murderous intent that felt almost tangible.

Anyone who looked at it felt a terrifying vibration deep within their chest.

Some of the others in the office also saw the sight and murmured in fear.

Someone screamed in panic:

"Do you see that?! Three suns?! What's happening?!"

"Damn it! Is the world ending?!"

"Shit! I don't even have a girlfriend!!!"

Desperate cries, confusion, and panic—various emotions mixed in the room.

Fortunately, the earthquake didn't last long, only about 30 seconds.

The people rushed out of the office building.

On the other hand, Lin Xian didn't look at the three suns for too long. He followed his colleagues, descending the stairs to the exit.

⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯

The evacuation took more than three hours before Lin Xian managed to get out of the building.

On the first floor, he witnessed the devastating effects of the earthquake.

Near the receptionist desk, the pillars and reinforced concrete foundations were cracked like a spider's web, with debris and ash scattered around.

Amid the chaos, the lift door made a faint sound.

"Ding!"

In the middle of the hustle and panic of the workers still filling the lobby, the sound felt out of place—as if it shouldn't have appeared in such an emergency.

Especially since the lift was supposed to be deactivated during an earthquake.

Everyone turned to look.

From behind the door that opened, a pair of long legs stepped out.

The sound of high heels clicking on the marble floor echoed calmly amidst the chaos.

The steps were not hurried.

Not panicked.

Unbothered by the small rubble or the screams of others.

A woman appeared, standing calmly as if nothing had happened. Her hair was white as snow, flowing neatly down her shoulders.

Her face was beautiful, almost perfect, but expressionless. Her eyes were sharp, as cold as the light from the blue sun hanging in the sky.

Everyone immediately knew who she was.

The CEO of this company, Bai Qinglan.

A young, beautiful, and well-known woman, from the Bai family—a wealthy and influential family in the city.

Some employees who were panicking immediately fell silent.

Her aura pressed down on them like the winter wind, biting into the bones.

Lin Xian recognized her as his superior and quickly bowed slightly.

The other employees in the lobby also immediately recognized her presence and bowed respectfully toward Bai Qinglan.

Bai Qinglan glanced briefly toward Lin Xian, the only one still calm.

She nodded slightly, as a form of appreciation, then turned and walked away, followed by her female secretary.

After watching the CEO leave, Lin Xian also reacted quickly and rushed to the parking lot.

He realized that the world might soon be plunged into chaos.

Supplies like food, drinks, and such would become very valuable, or even scarce, and could no longer be bought with money.

So he didn't hesitate to go to a mini-market or convenience store to buy and stock up on necessities.

....

In the parking lot, Lin Xian got into his car and drove quickly out of the parking area.

While driving, Lin Xian noticed that the roads were a bit congested.

But fortunately, it didn't last long.

Inside the car, Lin Xian, still feeling a strange sensation within himself, also moved his thoughts slightly.

Suddenly, beside him, an golden chain with a short sword at its end appeared.

Lin Xian was slightly startled, his eyes shining with curiosity as he moved his thoughts.

The chain floated in the air, swaying left and right according to his thoughts.

In fact, when the three suns appeared, Lin Xian felt a strange sensation that he could release.

However, considering that his colleagues were watching, Lin Xian had restrained this strange feeling until he could try it alone.
