Chapter 1 - Cage of Stars

INTRODUCTION.

The Empire of the Forgotten Gods

In a world long forgotten by time, where ancient gods once ruled supreme, their power faded into myth and legend. The empire they built crumbled, leaving only ruins and echoes of their influence. For centuries, humanity has thrived without knowledge of these divine forces, believing the gods to be mere fantasy.

But the gods are not gone. They have merely slumbered, their essence hidden in the farthest corners of the world, waiting for those worthy enough to inherit their power. When an ancient prophecy awakens, five chosen individuals are revealed — each one a descendant of a long-lost bloodline linked to a forgotten deity. These five will inherit unimaginable power, but with it comes the weight of the gods' expectations and the dangers of their wrath.

The five individuals, bound by fate, must now grapple with their new identities as bearers of divine might. The world around them is fractured, plagued by turmoil, and it's up to them to decide whether to use their powers for personal gain, to heal the wounds of humanity, or to reshape the world in their image.

But not all of them are aligned in their purpose. Some seek to fulfill their own desires, while others strive to restore balance and harmony. In the end, the line between savior and destroyer will blur, as they discover the true cost of wielding such godlike power.

Prologue – The Cage of Stars

Arthurian Parker had conquered everything the modern world could offer. At just twenty-three, he held three degrees, top honors in theoretical physics, metaphysics, and advanced engineering. Professors called him a prodigy. The media called him "the future."

But Arthurian felt like a prisoner.

Every achievement felt hollow. Every compliment, an echo in a glass box. He wandered the halls of his university not with pride, but with a gnawing sense of confinement—like he was waiting for a door to open, one he couldn't yet see.

Night after night, he stared at the stars, certain that something was watching him back. Not a god. Not an alien. Something older. Deeper. A silence beyond silence, humming beneath reality.

And then… it called his name.
