Chapter 1 - Born for The gods

On a lovely day of spring in the ancient lands of Sparta, the King Pierus and Muse Clio welcomed their first child. It was indeed a day of delight as the birth of an heir had been much anticipated by the King and the entire kingdom. After the baby had had his first breath, he was named Hyacinthus. His parents named him as such because his eyes were as violet as the sapphire, his hair had some hints of purple, and he looked as magnificent as the fields and flowers.

The gods viewed this amicable day from Olympus; they also took some delight in it and among them, Apollo's admiration was eminent. He so much admired Hyacinthus and was indeed thrilled by his beauty.

As fate would have it, the King and Muse couldn't conceive any child after Hyacinthus, and hence he was their only child. Hyacinthus grew in brilliance and talent, he was taught in the Spartan culture which included the gymnastics. He grew to be athletic and strong willed. Everyone in the kingdom admired him for his beauty and determination; he was even prevented by his parents from partaking in war events because of his importance and beauty.

Meanwhile, Apollo who had admired Hyacinthus soon developed affection for him. He didn't want to let his emotions get the better of him; "he was the God of the Sun and fields, why should he possibly have passion for a mere mortal" he had thought to himself. As days passed, Apollo's affections only seemed to grow so much.

On an evening, Hyacinthus left the castle and wandered to a nearby forest. He was delighted and in awe at all the flowers and fruits and animals he could see. Then there was a gentle breeze, with this Hyacinthus took off his clothes and made for the stream. He wanted to feel what it was like getting to be free from all the attention he was getting in the kingdom. He hesitantly dived into the stream and took a bath.

Apollo soon caught a glimpse of Hyacinthus in the streams. He as usual watched and took delight in the sight. He so much wanted to share his affection with the prince, but he did not want to jeopardize the gap which existed between the godly and mortal worlds. After Hyacinthus had his bath, he made to get his garments when a wild boar came approaching. The prince didn't get the idea that the wild beast was going to attack him so he continued with dressing. As the boar crouched ready to pounce on Hyacinthus, Apollo appeared ( in mortal form); struck the boar, killing it.

"Thank you so much", Hyacinthus appreciated Apollo. "May I know who you are", asked Hyacinthus. Apollo didn't want to get acquainted with him. He tried ignoring him but Hyacinthus looked charming than he had ever seen. The prince had nothing on....he was naked and this turned Apollo on, given the fact that he (Apollo) was now in mortal form. Apollo trying as much as he could to avoid any form of scandal, simply told Hyacinthus that he was a hunter and when he saw someone as beautiful as Hyacinthus in danger, he couldn't help but rescue him. The prince after hearing this, felt affection towards Apollo. I mean, of course this wasn't the first time he was being praised for his beauty but seeing how charming Apollo looked, the prince couldn't help but admire him. He drew closer to Apollo and quietly kissed his cheeks. Apollo felt a shiver run through him and before the prince could retract from him, Apollo drew him closer and they made out so passionately.

Everything felt warm; from the atmosphere to their touch. Apollo kissed and licked up the prince's body. Truly, his lust was getting the better of him. Apollo briefly withdrew from the prince and went off into the trees, Hyacinthus who was ecstatic with all of this soon got a hold of himself, got dressed and headed for the castle.
