Note: The term "Before XXXX" refers to years before the Imperial Calendar. Year 1 of the Imperial Calendar marks the founding of the Gurenian Empire (the timeline is approximately twice as long as real history, with events becoming closer to historical parallels as time progresses).
Before ????: The solar system forms with seven planets, from innermost to outermost: Mogris (The Swiftest: God of Time), Lilith (Veiled Maiden: Goddess of Magic, known to humans as Venusha, meaning "Golden Virgin"), Him-Amba (The Cool World: Home of Dragons and Neanderthals), Crimson Maris (The Glorious Fury: God of War), Dius (The Supreme: Chief God, known to humans as Zeubait), Bridget (The Haloed One: Goddess of Harvest), and Azure Posetira (Lord of Winter: God of the Sea).
Interstellar space is called the Aetherial Firmament, as the universe itself is composed of the fifth element, Aether.
Circa Before ????: Dragons and prehistoric giant invertebrates appear on the third planet, Him-Amba.
Circa Before ????: Dinosaurs appear on Him-Amba.
Circa Before ????: Ancient Elves arrive in this solar system from another universe aboard an ark as massive as an asteroid, landing on the second planet, Lilith (Veiled Maiden: Goddess of Magic).
Before ????: Certain extraordinary events occur. The sun undergoes a sudden change, causing planetary temperatures to rise and the atmosphere to gradually fill with sulfur compounds. Despite the Ancient Elves' magical efforts, Lilith becomes increasingly uninhabitable, its rotation slowing, making day-night cycles unbearably long. The rising temperatures and sulfur-filled air force the Ancient Elves to abandon most regions except for a few floating cities and the polar regions, migrating to Him-Amba. Those who remain on Lilith do so to guard unique materials found only there: starwood (harder than steel), magical crystals (solidified magic), abundant aether, rare annihilation black spheres (weaker analogs to black holes), and volatile Quad-Arcane Weathered Trisulfide Helium Aggregates. The duty of protecting the immovable sacred artifact Star-Slayer also falls to these Elves.
Before ????: The Interstellar War between Ancient Dragons and Ancient Elves erupts over control of Him-Amba. Under the power of the Elves' supreme spell, Great Extinction, a massive asteroid strikes Him-Amba, wiping out most life, including dinosaurs and the first-generation Emperor Dragons. Only five second-generation Emperor Dragons and their descendants survive. Realizing that continued war could destroy their beloved home, the Dragons and Elves form an informal alliance. Due to the Elves' reckless use of otherworldly summoning spells during the war, creatures such as orcs, goblins, halflings, lizardfolk, and unicorns are brought into this world. The five surviving second-generation Emperor Dragons are: Golden Dragon Time King Akuyun, his mate Sapphire Dragon Magic Queen Idili, Granite Dragon Earth Sovereign Nidhogg, Crimson Lotus Dragon Life Sovereign Monasha, and Emerald Dragon Moonlit Queen Tsukuyomi.
Before 41962: The legendary High Elf twins, Arien and Marx, are born.
Before 36000: Ancient High Elf Star Singers (a title reserved for the most powerful High Elf bards) use the supreme Words of Creation to alter Him-Amba's orbit through song, enhancing the planet's magical ley lines. However, this orbital shift triggers an Ice Age.
Before 21500: The Ice Age, lasting ten thousand years, leads to the extinction of ground sloths, saber-toothed cats, mammoths, and Neanderthals in most regions. Mammoths and dire wolves survive only in the Arctic, while ground sloths become nearly impossible to find on Him-Amba.
Before 18000: Following the extinction of Neanderthals, humans officially enter the historical stage.
Before 11000: Humanity's first civilization, the Sumeru Civilization, emerges in the Eta region.
Before 10000: Humanity's first great empire, the Ijit Empire, ruled by pharaohs, rises in the desert, constructing numerous pyramids in pursuit of resurrection after death.
Before 9550: Certain extraordinary events occur. One cause is Marx, one of the legendary twins, who falls in love with the wife of High King Arien, the Elf Queen, sage, sword-singer, and Star Singer, Aida Bellien. Consumed by jealousy, Marx turns against his brother, leading to the schism of the Ancient Elves into High Elves (led by Arien) and Dark Elves (led by Marx). The Dragons allied with the Elves also split, aligning with both factions. Marx opens the Gates of Hell, unleashing endless demons upon Him-Amba, initiating the apocalyptic Doomsday Calamity.
Before 9223: During the Doomsday Calamity, the King's Sword, the foremost of the three sacred Elven swords, appears in the Zhendan region. High Elves and the Xuanyuan tribe of Zhendan join forces to resist the demons and protect the sword. The Xuanyuan tribe's leader wields the King's Sword to its fullest potential, slaying a Hell Lord (second only to the seven Demon Princes and the strongest demons able to manifest in the mortal world). The sword, called the Xuanyuan Sword by the Zhendan people, is used with the Elves' permission to unify the Zhendan tribes for the first time.
Before 9217: Marx becomes intrigued by a pocket universe, akin to Hell but distinct, known as the Demon Realm, inhabited by powerful evil creatures. Its ruler, the Demon Realm Emperor, surpasses all Hell Lords except the seven Demon Princes in power. Marx summons the Demon Realm Emperor, whose strength in the mortal world exceeds even the mightiest of the five Dragon Kings, Time King Akuyun.
Before 9216: The King's Sword, foremost of the three sacred Elven swords, vanishes from history. Legend holds that an elderly human found it and used it to defeat the Demon Realm Emperor's true form.
Before 9215: High Elf High King Arien, wielding the Warrior's Sword—one of the three sacred swords, Holy Sword Blazing Sun—defeats his brother Marx with the cataclysmic Arien's Strike. This blow splits the island of Briton (now Aililand) and the nearby Erni Island from the Rosenland continent. Marx's Mage's Sword, another of the three sacred swords, Holy Sword Moonlight, had already fallen into darkness as the Demon Sword Dark Moon. It is hurled into a pyramid in the Ijit Empire during a black magic ritual, striking the Pharaoh. Absorbing all of Marx's resentment and power, the Pharaoh is cursed to become the progenitor of vampires, giving rise to the first undead.
Due to a series of misunderstandings, dwarves, who had fought alongside the Elves, kill the dying Arien after his victory, sparking a ten-thousand-year feud between Elves and Dwarves.
Before 9214: The ancient calamity finally ends. Most Dark Elves retreat underground, except for a few living in dark towers at the southern tip of the New Continent and Antarctica. Of the five Dragon Kings, Akuyun, his mate Idili, and Bishamon stood with the High Elves. Only Akuyun survives, and among their descendants, only Narsasha, inheriting her mother Idili's powers, lives on.
Of the thirteen Elven sages, only one remains: the Queen of Queens, eternal ruler of High Elves, Wood Elves, and Sea Elves, mother of ancient kings, born in the radiance of the stars, sword-singer, Star Singer, dragon-speaker, Lilith's emissary, friend of dragons, pure and flawless, astral walker, prophecy chanter, eternally beautiful, pearl of Him-Amba, caretaker of the World Tree, master of aether, steward of sacred artifacts, the eternal, radiant star, light within light, Elen Anka (Elvish: the brightest in the sky), Aida Bellien.
Before 9207: Prince Ramses of Ijit and his sister, along with ten other heroes, defeat the first undead, dividing the progenitor vampire's bloodline into twelve parts. Ramses becomes the first Dominatrix, while his sister founds the Safisanis family. Through the power of the vampire covenant, Ramses becomes the first Vampire King, whose soul covenant is extraordinarily strong, making it nearly impossible for vampires to defy his commands.
Before 9131: Prince Ramses and his sister seal their necromancy-practicing sister, Annette Netokris, binding her as a mummified corpse in her pyramid. The sealing was initially intended for all of Ramses' sisters, but at his sister's request, Ramses damages his own soul to alter the sealing array. In gratitude, Ramses and his sister form the Ramses Covenant, an unbreakable condition she cannot refuse.
Before 8600: A nine-tailed fox with immense magical power appears in the Zhendan region.
Before 8500: Elves begin retreating from their global colonies to the western paradise of Rosenland. Former Elven colonies become human settlements, particularly for humans who fought alongside the Elves. The ancient Elven colony of Greka becomes Rosenland's most advanced region, home to countless philosophers, scientists, and mages. Grekan citizens worship Elven gods and emulate Elven sages.
Before 8000: One of humanity's greatest poets, and one of the four to reach the level of Star Singer, emerges: the Grekan Blind Homer.

Before 7038: Prince Ramses travels to the Silania region, then called Dacia. While hunting a dangerous dragon with a young tribal chieftain, Vlad, he is impressed by Vlad's sense of honor. When the dragon mortally wounds Vlad, Ramses transforms him into a royal vampire. Influenced by the dragon, Vlad's hair turns purple. Ramses adopts the tribal name Dominatrix as his family name.
Before 6777: Due to a conspiracy by the Estruchi family and the Zhao clan, royal vampire Sargon Strigoi betrays Vampire King Ramses. Before dying, Ramses uses his authority to curse the entire Gosain family, transforming them into monstrous, bat-like creatures unable to assume human form. Ramses is the only Vampire King before Sophia, as vampires fear a ruler who can command them directly. The Vampire King covenant is later modified to remove direct control, becoming a symbol of immunity to betrayal and hostility from vampires. Even so, no one claims the title until Sophia. The Estruchi family's true plot involves repurposing Ramses' corpse into the divine artifact Blood Scepter, which can control all vampires except the Markov family, who never joined the Vampire King covenant. The Blood Scepter, too powerful, becomes the object of contention among vampire families and eventually disappears. This event makes the Dominatrix and Gosain families mortal enemies. Vlad and Sophia mercilessly kill any Gosain vampire they encounter.

However, a demon named Great Sage Equal to Heaven stages a rebellion, miraculously defeating him. After the Dragon Emperor's defeat, his successors fail to maintain unity, and the Zhen Dynasty collapses.
Before 4890: A century after the Dragon Emperor's death, Zhendan is divided between the Dan Kingdom and Wuyue. The Dan Kingdom defeats Wuyue's invincible overlord, establishing the Dan Dynasty. The region is later called Zhendan, combining the names of the Zhen and Dan Dynasties.
Before 4500: The Rollsen Empire is established in Rosenland, ruling over much of Rosenland, Eta, and parts of North Soth. It becomes humanity's most powerful magical empire, with magic prevalence and strength rivaling some declining Elven colonies.
[Note: Humanity's three greatest magical empires are the Rollsen Empire, the ancient Inka Empire, and ancient Zhendan from the Yin Dynasty to the Dragon Emperor's Zhen Dynasty.]
Before 4400: The second greatest human bard, Rollsen's Virgil, with Star Singer-level power, is born.
Before 3550: The Dan Dynasty collapses, splitting into Xichuan, Beikui, and Xinwu, founded by Liu Bo, Xiahou Pi, and Weiji Ta, respectively. The Zhao clan's rare honorable member, Zhao Liaoyuan, aids Liu Bo. The versatile Xiahou Pi recruits the Sima family, skilled in yin-yang arts and sorcery.
