Chapter 3 - Chapter 003 Feeding-Back Jutsu 2.0

The Chakra Extraction Technique was activated.

Satori Hyūga released the Feeding-Back Jutsu, allowing the Chakra Extraction Technique to refine and draw energy from within his body.

Cellular power continuously blended with his mental energy, forming massive amounts of chakra.

"Not bad. You're nearly at Chunin level already."

Satori closed his eyes, gauging the flow of chakra within him.

It far surpassed that of other children—even among bloodline clans, it was formidable.

This was the result of Satori's accumulation.

Every day, he constantly extracted chakra, then dispersed it back into his physical body over and over again.

In an endless cycle, without pause.

As time passed, his physical cellular energy limit increased, and a great deal of chakra had also accumulated.

"The original version of the Feeding-Back Jutsu had become practically obsolete. Time to develop a new ninja technique," Satori muttered.

"Should I draw inspiration from the Yin Seal, or explore another path?"

His pale white eyes flickered with thought, appearing like pure white voids consuming everything.

The Yin Seal—the ultimate technique of Lady Tsunade, one of Konoha's Sannin.

It sealed vast quantities of chakra inside the forehead, preventing any loss of energy.

Such storage capability was extremely valuable for any ninja.

During battle,

if too much chakra was consumed, the Yin Seal could provide continuous support, wearing down enemies until they collapsed.

Or one could chain together an endless sequence of techniques, overwhelming opponents with relentless attacks until they were crushed.

The Yin Seal was powerful—yet Satori decided not to use it.

"I belong to the Hyūga Main House, and besides, I'm still a child. No need for me to go to war yet."

He clearly understood his own role.

He—a member of the Hyūga Main House—would surely survive until the final chapter.

Leaving the fighting to the Branch House was more than sufficient.

His main focus would always be on self-preservation and escape.

"If the Yin Seal won't work, then I should create my own life-preserving ninja technique."

"And once class assignments begin, I'll have to create a unique escape technique for myself as well."

After all, he was part of the Main House—no need to push himself too hard.

Remaining low-key guaranteed survival till the very end.

Second Great Shinobi War, Third Great Shinobi War, the Nine-Tails attack, [Destruction of Konoha]...

He recalled them all too vividly.

If he stayed far away enough, he could remain unscathed entirely.

Still, creating a new jutsu wasn't easy. Even with Satori's abilities and knowledge, it required extensive trial and error.

"If only Orochimaru were around… I wonder if he's begun pursuing immortality yet."

Satori abandoned impractical thoughts, bowed his head, and focused intently on thinking and researching.

Contacting Orochimaru was still too distant a dream.

For now, enhancing his strength and improving survival techniques came first.

As for further research into the Byakugan, that remained far beyond his reach at present.

A thousand-mile journey begins with a single step.

Right now, he needed to keep laying a solid foundation through hard work.

Previously, he had focused on dispersing chakra, allowing scattered reserves to return to his body's cells—it had been too simplistic.

To study new techniques, he'd need a completely different approach.

[Byakugan]!

Satori Hyūga's eyes bulged, the blue-veined whites standing out intensely, as he perceived a 360-degree panoramic vision in his mind's eye.

That was the visual experience granted by the Byakugan.

Every time he activated it, Satori marveled once again at the Byakugan's wonders.

Once turned on, the Byakugan provided the user with extraordinary insight.

It allowed not only the ability to observe through physical substances but also to see the flow of chakra within a person's body.

When paired with the Hyūga Clan's Gentle Fist technique, this made it possible to strike directly at the chakra pathways and pressure points.

For Satori's experiments and research, this served as an extremely valuable aid.

With no conventional instruments available, the Byakugan functioned as a special observational tool.

With his miraculous ocular power, no changes in chakra within flesh could escape Satori's notice.

This enabled him to confidently innovate and create new techniques without hesitation.

After countless trials and studies,

His eyes trembled slightly—he had finally discovered a method for reversing chakra, returning it to its primal state, and tempering the physical body.

It involved using spiritual energy to control diluted chakra mixed in a specific ratio with mental force, refining and fusing it into the body's cells.

The resulting fusion enhanced cellular activity, significantly and steadily increasing both their strength and the quantity of chakra they produced.

What surprised Satori most was that

by injecting chakra infused with mental power into the cells, one could gain a certain degree of control over the body itself.

This unique sensation reminded Satori of one word:

Forging.

Using chakra to forge the physical body into a weapon uniquely suited to oneself.

Shape it however you desire.

Under Satori's deliberate manipulation, streamlined muscle definition gradually became apparent across his body.

Feeling the eight-pack forming on his abdomen, along with the abdominal and oblique grooves, a faint smile crossed Satori's face.

The Hyūga Clan's Gentle Fist technique did not emphasize building visible muscle mass.

In fact, muscular development held little practical value for members of the Hyūga clan.

Satori's goal here was simply to sculpt his physique.

And, naturally, test this newfound ability.

He pinched the muscles revitalized by the Replenishing Jutsu, inspecting their effect.

"The enhancement effects are quite noticeable. If accumulated over time, this should significantly enhance my overall strength."

"And most importantly, practicing this jutsu does no harm to the body."

Satori felt very satisfied with the outcome.

Physical enhancement was important—but so was ensuring his lifespan didn't shorten.

As he sensed the surging energy within, he stepped outside to his personal training grounds.

As a member of the Main House, he had access to a small personal training area. Though modest in size, it was more than sufficient for basic practice and learning.

Raising both arms, Satori took up a combat stance, feet planted wide, his aura completely transforming.

[Gentle Fist – Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms!]

With that shout, his form shot forward like lightning. His arms blurred through the air, leaving behind trails of afterimages as he unleashed a flurry of consecutive strikes.

The air vibrated, producing bursts of explosive sound.

The wooden dummy shattered instantly, bursting into countless splinters that flew into the sky.

After completing the set, Satori exhaled deeply, regulated his inner breathing, and slowly drew his hands back in.

Clap... Clap... Clap...

The sound of clapping echoed through the room as Hyūga Sounmei strode in from outside.

He gazed at Satori Hyūga, his eyes brimming with tenderness and joy.

"Good job. You've already grasped the essence of Gentle Fist. With a little more training, you'll be nearly mastered it completely."

As he looked at his grandson, his face overflowed with satisfaction and pride.

He was a Main House elder, yet his son and daughter-in-law had passed away long ago, leaving a deep scar on his heart.

Fortunately, his grandson had turned out to be extraordinary—such talent and potential.

Satori Hyūga had refined the Gentle Fist to perfection; now capable of unleashing over forty consecutive palm strikes, reaching the level of an adult ninja.

On top of that, he had even shown talent in creating new ninjutsu techniques. A true new genius of the Hyūga Main House.

"Grandfather, you're here."

Satori Hyūga grabbed a towel, wiped the sweat from his brow, and smiled as he approached.

He never held back his strength in front of his grandfather.

After all, in the entire Hyūga Clan, this man was his strongest supporter.

Fooling others was one thing—but he couldn't afford for his grandfather to think he was actually weak.

Blood ties meant a lot, but if he acted weak, the elder would surely stop supporting him so fiercely.

Throughout the entire Hyūga Clan,

Only Hyūga Sounmei knew the truth—Satori Hyūga was concealing his real strength.

"Satori, your strength already rivals that of a Genin. With the Hyūga Gentle Fist, you could even stand your ground against a Chunin."

"But without real combat experience, it won't be enough."

"A ninja's greatest asset is always battlefield experience."
