As the days passed, the Abominations grew stronger and more numerous. Cities crumbled, governments collapsed, and society teetered on the brink of chaos. Zed, like many others, was forced to adapt to a new reality.
He banded together with a small group of survivors, scavenging for food and supplies in the ruins of civilization. They moved cautiously, always on the lookout for Abominations, which seemed to be drawn to noise and human activity.
One night, as they huddled in an abandoned building, Zed felt an strange energy building inside him. It was as if the air around him was charged with electricity, and he could sense the wind responding to his presence.
Suddenly, a gust of wind burst forth from his body, extinguishing the flickering candles and plunging the group into darkness. The others stared at him in shock and awe as Zed realized that he had somehow controlled the wind.
"What just happened?" one of his companions whispered.
Zed shook his head, unsure of how to answer. But as he looked at his hands, he felt a spark of excitement and trepidation. He might just have a chance to survive in this new world, and maybe even fight back against the Abominations.
