The new changes in the Food Cauldron Scripture excited Long Jun immensely. It turned out that after the total likes reached 100 and the Essence Gate and Spirit Gate were opened, the diners' likes would no longer directly convert to Blood Qi.

This nicely avoided the problem of Long Jun's Blood Qi surging in public.

A sudden Blood Qi surge was actually quite dangerous—if he lost composure in public and was seen by someone with ulterior motives, who knew what consequences might follow.

This time, Long Jun's Blood Qi increased by 8 points, and even after returning home from South Market Street, he still had the illusion that his entire body was swelling.

If he hadn't been eager to check the Food Cauldron Scripture, Long Jun would have wanted to find a place to release his excess energy.

He paced quickly back and forth in his room, his breathing heavy and hot, while continuing to examine the specific explanations about Essence, Blood Qi, and Spirit in the Food Cauldron Scripture.

[Essence: The treasure of innate nature, the source of matter.]

[Blood Qi: The gathering of energy, the circulation of true qi.]

[Spirit: The manifestation of spiritual consciousness, the foundation of the soul.]

When the three treasures of essence, qi, and spirit all reach 33 points, the human body can complete the Three Origins Foundation by itself—this is the beginning of cultivation!

Seeing this, Long Jun roughly understood why the Food God Cultivation Method Scroll could only be unlocked after his total likes reached 1000.

A thousand total likes would provide Long Jun with 100 free attribute points.

Regardless of Long Jun's initial attributes, 100 freely distributable attribute points would be enough for him to complete the Three Origins Foundation with points to spare.

The human body is a natural treasure; the Three Origins Foundation can make this treasure possess abundant essence, a strong physique, and a spiritual soul!

Long Jun carefully studied the Food Cauldron Scripture. Although he had not yet unlocked the Food God Cultivation Method Scroll, he somehow seemed to understand which direction he should take for cultivation.

Without realizing it, he stopped pacing and sat down at the desk beside his bed.

On the old, mottled desk lay a book he had read yesterday, the "Book of Changes."

Long Jun sat at the desk, but his mind was immersed in the Food Cauldron Scripture, entering the [Cooking Kitchen].

The so-called Cooking Kitchen did not exist in reality but in the void beyond the three realms and five elements.

Through the Food Cauldron Scripture, Long Jun could enter once by consuming 100 Cooking Value. Each time, he could stay inside for twelve hours, while in reality, only a quarter hour would pass.

Of course, this entry wasn't physical but spiritual—his soul entering.

In the Cooking Kitchen, Long Jun could also learn various Food God Recipes and skills by consuming Cooking Value. Any recipes or skills learned could be brought back to reality, no different from if his true self had learned them.

In its initial state, the Cooking Kitchen was a small stove room with a rather ancient style.

It was about fifteen square meters in total, with a stove built against the wall. The left side of the stove had three fire pits—one large and two small—while the right side was a preparation area.

Around the corner, against another wall, was a huge water vat.

Then there were storage shelves with bamboo baskets arranged on them, though currently the baskets were completely empty.

In the left corner of the other side was a stack of firewood about three feet high. Each log was thick, at least five inches in diameter, appearing to need chopping before it could be burned.

Long Jun walked around the small stove room in his soul state, feeling that everything he saw and sensed was completely real.

If he hadn't read the explanation beforehand, he would have surely believed that he had physically entered the Cooking Kitchen, not just as a soul!

This included the real sensation when he touched the stove, the burning heat of his breath from the Blood Qi surge, the swelling feeling in his body, and the discomfort in his injured right leg...

Huff, huff, huff—

Long Jun's breathing became increasingly heavy. Suddenly inspired, he opened the [Smoke and Fire Collection] unique to the Cooking Kitchen.

The Smoke and Fire Collection listed various recipes and skills he could currently learn!

There were about ten recipes and only two skills:

1.Wood Chopping Level 1 (80)

2.Fire Control Level 1 (150)

[Cooking Value: 83]

Wood Chopping would consume 80 Cooking Value, while Fire Control would require 150!

Looking closely at the descriptions—Wood Chopping: Heaven and earth have a furnace, firewood like spring thunder, chopping wood, one cut one posture.

Fire Control: When the fire reaches perfection, all flavors in the world become true.

The descriptions were simple yet evocative.

Unfortunately, he couldn't learn Fire Control now, so he decided to learn Wood Chopping first.

Long Jun then lightly touched the Smoke and Fire Collection, choosing to consume 80 Cooking Value to learn Wood Chopping.

The next moment, a wondrous flow of information cascaded down like a waterfall, directly entering Long Jun's mind.

In the world of his consciousness, everything turned white, with only a small black-outlined figure examining logs of wood, identifying the wood, finding the grain, chopping, cutting, lifting, slashing, poking, turning, shaving...

Bang!

Bang!

Bang bang bang!

Long Jun came to the woodpile, picked up the black-bladed hatchet on the ground, placed a round log upright in front of him, lowered his waist while gripping the hatchet, channeled strength through both arms, and forcefully chopped down.

Bang!

Thud—

The round log fell to the side as Long Jun's right leg knelt down, causing him to blurt out: "Damn!"

With his leg injury not yet healed, he completely lost his balance. He failed to chop the wood and instead ended up kneeling.

His right knee felt as if it would shatter from the pain, and his injured lower leg burned.

But in Long Jun's mind, an intangible flow of experience entered, clearly guiding him on how to gather his qi, how to exert force, and how to correctly avoid his weaknesses, adapting to circumstances for a successful stroke.

Though Long Jun trembled with pain, he immediately gritted his teeth and stood up, picking up the fallen hatchet and raising both hands once more.

Gathering qi, striking!

Bang—

[Wood Chopping Level 1 (1/100)]

This stroke was successful.

The experience of success flowed through his mind as Long Jun carefully pondered and comprehended, then continued swinging.

Bang! Bang bang bang!

In the small stove room, the lame scholar swung his hatchet like rain, chopping continuously.

His expression was focused, his Blood Qi surging, hot energy rumbling through his body like burning firewood.

Even so, not every chop would earn experience points.

Only when he truly made progress and gained new applications and insights into the wood-chopping technique would the experience increase by a point on his attribute display page.

[Wood Chopping Level 1 (3/100)]

(5/100)

(6/100)

As experience slowly increased, Long Jun's chopping movements gradually became more varied.

From chopping to cutting, then to poking, lifting...
