Hyun Soo blinked.
Then blinked again.
"…Did I just hallucinate that?" he whispered to no one in particular.
Kang Ho didn't speak. He just stared at Minah—watching her, eyes narrowed slightly, like he was making sure he hadn't finally snapped from sleep deprivation and memory overload.
Across from them, Jaewook stood frozen.
His grip on the milk tea slackened.
The straw shifted.
Pop.
He almost dropped the entire cup.
Minah, now standing in the center of the room like a calm eye in the emotional hurricane, looked between them.
Her voice was soft but steady this time.
"Kim Sora," she repeated. "Annie. Seo Young."
Three names.
Three pieces of her soul.
Reclaimed.
Hyun Soo finally exhaled and leaned forward like he'd just witnessed a miracle.
"I need to sit down," he said—already sitting.
Kang Ho was the first to break the moment properly. "Minah… when did you remember this?"
Minah typed into her phone again and showed them:
"In my dream. I remembered her giving me that name. The dress. The moment she called me Annie."
She looked down at her hands.
"It felt real. It was real."
Jaewook finally regained composure.
He placed the milk tea on the table with the gentleness of a man who had just been emotionally body-slammed.
"We're digging into everything," he said. His voice was calm, but that calm was razor-sharp.
He turned to Kang Ho. "Get me into every archive with connections to President Park. Family. Staff. Anyone tied to Kim Sora. If the government's locked it down, find a way to unlock it."
Kang Ho nodded. "On it."
Hyun Soo raised a hand. "Do I get to commit a cybercrime too?"
"No," Jaewook said immediately. "You're on bubble tea and emotional support duty."
Hyun Soo nodded solemnly. "A noble cause."
-----
Saturday – 11:00 a.m.
The living room was unusually quiet for a weekend—except for the furious tapping of laptop keys and Hyun Soo nervously sipping his third bubble tea of the morning.
Kang Ho sat hunched over his screen, face lit only by data files and decrypted logs.
Then—
He froze.
"...Got something."
Hyun Soo perked up. "Tell me it's not another medical invoice from 2006."
Kang Ho ignored him, scrolling quickly, eyes narrowing.
"Park Dojin had a second family. A hidden one."
Hyun Soo blinked. "Wait, like… a secret wife?"
Kang Ho shook his head slowly. "Not wife. A mistress. Off the official record. Her name was Seo Eunae."
He clicked into a redacted document, lines and lines of blacked-out data—except one:
Daughter: Park Seo Young
The room went silent.
Hyun Soo's straw made a sad slurp sound at the bottom of his cup.
Kang Ho sat back, stunned. "That's her real name. Minah… she's his daughter."
Hyun Soo swallowed hard. "Wait, so she's not just a random victim from some facility. She's literally the daughter of a sitting president. That's… that's insane."
Kang Ho's voice dropped lower, almost a whisper. "Everything else… redacted. Only accessible at presidential clearance. But this confirms it."
He turned the screen toward Jaewook, who had silently entered the room just in time.
Jaewook stared at the words.
At the name.
Park Seo Young
Then he nodded once, jaw tightening.
"So now we know," he said. "The people who erased her memory… weren't just criminals."
"They were covering up a bloodline."
