I burst through the door of Kaelen's study, my heart hammering against my ribs. The scene before me made my blood boil. Rhys was on his knees, face ashen with terror as the three Alpha brothers loomed over him like executioners.
"Tell us who paid you!" Kaelen roared, his fist gripping Rhys's collar so tightly that the fabric was tearing. "Was it Stone? Did that Obsidian Claw bastard put you up to this?"
Rhys shook his head desperately. "I swear on my life, Alpha, I don't know anything about any gifts!"
"Stop it!" I shouted, making all four men whip their heads toward me. "Let him go right now!"
Kaelen's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Stay out of this, Seraphina. This doesn't concern you."
"Doesn't concern me?" I strode forward, trembling with rage. "You're terrorizing an innocent man over a teddy bear that was sent to ME!"
Orion stepped between us. "We found him lurking near your room this morning. Explain that."
