After freshening up, I dressed up for the date I was to have with Rhyssa.
I took my car keys and left my house.
Arriving at the venue, I took a deep breath and went over to the receptionist.
I had made a reservation for the both of us, so I was led to our table and I sat down and waited patiently.
Not long after, Rhyssa walked in and damn, she looked amazing.
She spotted me where I sat and I waved at her.
I had offered to pick her up from her house but she declined and I respected her decision.
"Hi Kaiser," She said with a really warm smile.
I couldn't help not smiling back.
I was amazed.
She was the definition of a goddess.
"Rhyssa" I said, and stood up to pull out her chair for her to sit.
"Thank you" She said and sat.
Then I sat.
"You look stunning, Rhyssa" I said and she smiled.
"Thank you, you're really handsome, as always" She said, making me laugh.
My palms were sweating so I used my handkerchief to wipe them.
I beckoned on one of the waiters who came over to our table to collect our orders.
"So are you working on any book now?" I asked
"Yeah, two books actually" She said.
"I have a deadline" she continued.
"That should be a lot of work" I said and she nodded.
Then the waiter returned with our order.
The food looked mouth watering and the aroma wafting from it was so good.
Then we began eating...
"How about you?" She asked and I looked up,
Unfortunately, my eyes landed on her cleavage and I gulped.
"What I do?" I asked, taking my eyes off them.
"I'm a software engineer....I work with Devanshan," I said, and her eyes widened.
"Devanshan Tech?? As in the Devanshan??" She asked, amazed and I chuckled lightly.
"Yeah" I said
"I'm glad things turned out so good for you....I'm impressed" She said making me smile.
"It was tough before I was able to get to where I am but it was all worth the hardwork" I said chuckling.
As we ate, we discussed and I got to know more about her.
Her Parents lived in France and she was an only child.
After the meal, the waiter brought the bill and I paid for it.
"It was a wonderful meal," Rhyssa said, wiping her mouth with a serviette.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it" I said.
We were outside, walking towards our cars together.
"Thank you for tonight" She said turning to me.
I liked how she had to look up to be able to talk to me.
I found it extremely cute.
"My pleasure, I enjoyed tonight as well" I replied.
"So...." She started after a moment of silence.
"Why don't you take me to your home?" She asked
And I stared at her in disbelief and amusement.
"Um..." I paused
"What? It's only fair that I visit your home since you've visited mine" she said.
"Well....yeah ofcourse" I said and she smiled and turned towards her car.
"I'll be right behind you" She said and I entered mine.

We got to my house and we entered the elevator to lead us to the fourth floor where my apartment was.
When we got to my apartment, I typed in my passcode and the door opened.
"Whoaaa" Rhyssa exclaimed, taking in the beauty of my apartment.
"It's magnificent" She cried out loud.
"Make yourself at home" I said
I wasn't sure she was listening to me anymore.
Then suddenly she paused.
"You have a cat?" She asked as soon as she heard the meows of a cat.
"Yeah, her name's..." I paused and gulped.
"What's her name?" She asked, trying to find the cat.
"There you are" She said, cuddling my cat in her arms.
"Her name's Rhyssa" I finally admitted and she turned to me immediately.
"No wayyy" She said and I looked away, slightly embarrassed.
"It's not what you think, I didn't..." I said looking for words to form my sentence.
"I love her" She squealed happily, cuddling my cat.
She was like a little happy child.
At least she didn't find it weird that I named my cat after her.
"Hi Namie" She cooed as the cat nestled further in her arms.
"She likes me" She continued, proud of herself and I laughed.
"What breed is she?"
"She's so cute and fluffy" She said.
"A Turkish Angora" I said and she nodded, patting my cat.
"She's soo pretty" She said.
