Before the arrival of these demonic beasts, human technology was advancing rapidly. In 1805, a man named Sincroes invented the first cloud-consuming airship.
This airship utilizes specialized turbines that condense water vapor from clouds and convert it into steam. The steam drives enormous brass pistons, powering the ship's propulsion system.
Ten years after the World-Threatening Incident, a boy named Enneth was born in the sky.
